To preface, this review is 100% based on the phone service and the food delivered to my room at the Army Lodge, due to COVID quarantine required after arriving in country. So, the good... English, they're on base so they obviously deal in dollars, not Euros. Extremely extensive menu! They include a free bottle of really cheap wine with your order. They deliver. The bad... The person who answers the phone to take your order has a really thick accent, and he's just not that proficient with his duties. Every single time I call and try to order it takes him two or three attempts at punching in my credit card #. On more than one occasion, items I ordered were omitted. On another occasion, it wasn't forgotten, but they supposedly forgot to charge me for it, resulting in me paying in cash at the door. I know this is pure speculation, but the thought crossed my mind that this was an employee scam. An attempt to pocket some extra cash. Even after asking on several occasions for paper plates and napkins they were ignored. Almost as if they know those in quarantine are at their mercy and really have few other choices, so why bother going the extra mile? In summation, the food quality is hit or miss. A few items, e.g., the chicken cordon blue = really good! Pizza isn't bad. Spaghetti? Pretty dry! Food hack tip... order their cheese soup and then pour it on the spaghetti, mix thoroughly. You'll thank me later. Once out of quarantine, will we try them in person? Probably, that will be the final determining opinion. Cheers! read more

After 30 years MWR or AAFES got greedy and forced this institution out of business. The food was always good AND affordable. Caesar and his team reminded me of "Cheers", where people were always greeted with a smile. Sad to see it gone. This loss will be felt for a long time. read more

Good place to grab a bit to eat, everyone is friendly enough. Some great options and if you are particular with your food or have allergens you can talk to staff to modify food, not so common in EU. I love the margarita pizza and the pasta with Salmon the most of all. The rice dishes are good as well but the other two are simply much better. I love Little Italy. Friendly, fast service, all the time. I love the Hawaii Pizza and the cheese soup. I have had many items on the menu and never had a bad meal. Our first stop at a restaurant since arriving here and it did not disappoint. Based off pictures here, I decided to order the appetizer of the mushrooms with the cheese sauce and holy smokes it was very good. I ordered the chicken with potatoes and a salad and it was spectacular. My kids enjoyed their spaghetti and my husband also his pasta was good. Took me over an hour to get my food! Then when I got my food, it was bland; I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The dish had marinara all over it which was different but surprisingly tasted like nothing. The fries weren't even salted, I really only ate it because the ketchup gave it flavor. I've been here twice now. The first time I had the tortellini with broccoli and shrimp. It was ok. The second time I had the pizza. The toppings are a bit on the expensive side as they quickly add up but worth every dollar. A good pizza doesn't need any extra cheese or pepper packets and this pizza is delicious. Well lets start this off with its the best Italian restaurant on Clay Kaserne! I always find the food to be acceptable every time I go. The service always is on point and respectable. Little Italy caters to large events, so the food you may get on such an occasion may vary from if you just went in for dinner or lunch. The owner is a really nice guy and tries hard at keeping the very picky Americans happy. All in all I gave it 4 stars because people on base don't have any other choice besides the food court or the kepap stand. read more

I love going to Little Italy. I am treated like family, and the service is amazing. The menu caters to folks who want something that reminds them of home, but can be served more authentically Italian if you ask for it(the risotto is cheesy on the menu, but tomato based if ordered Italian style). They area great option for those nights when you want a good meal out but not the travel. Will continue to visit often until I leave Germany. read more
