My son attended this daycare and I was extremely disappointed. I had a couple high school friends…read morethat worked there at the time and really felt that my son was in good hands. However, there were many days my son would have bite marks, scratches etc. that seemed to come from other children but none of the staff had any knowledge of the cause of the marks. They kicked my son out who had just turned 2 at the time. They said that my sons energy level was out of control and that he needed a personal aide. A personal aide helps with a child with special needs. My child does not have special needs so this was extremely frustrating and insulting. They said he could continue to go there the following week if I got him one. I told the gal I was just going to pull him out and he wouldn't be returning. His motor skills were and still are advanced for his age. There was a push door in his classroom that lead outside into their parking lot that my son would push open and they claimed it had to remain unlocked in case of emergencies. Apparently my son was the only child they ever had this issue with and so he could no longer attend their daycare anymore because it became a safety issue. My son was always unhappy and could not wait to go home when I came to pick him up. He was getting a bad write up almost every other day. Long story short, I got my son into a new daycare a day later and he has been there for almost a year now. He has been doing nothing but thriving since and LOVES his teachers and always has something to show off to me when I get there to pick him up. I am so HAPPY I got him out of there when I did! I would recommend considering many more other daycare facilities before picking this one. It's their job to take care of children and they couldn't even handle my son. ONE CHILD! The gal I spoke to even made a comment about not wanting to lose any staff because my son pushed her employees to the edge almost to the verge of quitting. That is ridiculous! Do not work with children if you can't handle them!

They have a small staff and lower numbers of children in each classroom, so its less stressful for the kids. In addition, they are the base level of a church, so they have a big basketball court for the kids to play in every day, regardless of weather-- they can run all over and play with ride-on toys. Their curriculum is fun for the kids and they've had wonderful, creative enrichment activities the whole time he has been there-- musicians come and play instruments, field trips, a week focused on camping where they set up a camp site in the gym with like 12 giant tents, a picnic table, and a fake fire. My son has gotten excited about letters and numbers, and he's a pretty rascally guy, one that's hard to get to stay focused. They've done a wonderful job with him, and they have a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are so positive, patient, kind, and consistent. I keep taking him there because he's so happy, even though I have to drive way out of my way. Highly recommended :).

My kids have advanced dramatically going to this preschool/daycare. Most importantly why I love this daycare is because they talk about God and have Bible studies and sing Christian songs and they love Jesus. When we drive by the daycare my kids say "Mama that's my favorite daycare!" They get super excited to go there and be their. The staff is amazing, friendly and professional and they do fun activities for the kids as well as for parents on certain holidays and occasions! The best in town. No- not biting, hitting, any other behaviors you would expect would get your kid kicked out. Most frustrating is that there were never any formal meetings to even discuss the possibility that if these things weren't fixed, we'd be kicked out. We didn't see it coming and had to scramble to find new childcare. The behaviors she exhibited are normal 3-year-old behaviors that might take some kids longer than others to work through. I feel the staff is either stretched too thin or doesn't have the patience or energy needed to work with little learners of all levels. We felt extremely blind-sighted by this decision and heart-broken for our kids who now have to start somewhere else, leave their friends and learn new routines. It was already hard enough leaving our only kids in the hands of someone else, and now I'm facing a ton of anxiety all over again hoping this doesn't happen to us again and our kids won't be given up on as easily as Meadow Wood gave up on them. Before this happened, I did appreciate many things about this daycare. The Brightwheel app is convenient and they update you/post pictures of your kids throughout the day. During summer there were a lot of extra activities like field trips and a magic show. Some of the teachers were really nice to us (we saw some be pretty snippy with the kids at times though). We always knew about injuries via an incident report. Payment was easy. Lots for littles to do and different enrichment activities that matched the seasons. Open at 6:00AM for parents who need to get to work early. However, unless your kids are really good at sitting still, following routines, and don't cause a lot of problems for the staff in general, they might tell you to find somewhere else better suited to your child's needs and that they can't offer the 1:1 that your child needs because they have a lot of kids to watch already.

Anyway at the end of this summer, Logan starts kindergarten and I am so thankful to Just Imagine for morphing his education while his parentals have to work. We are young parents, so it has taken longer to get all the ducks in a row of our life and for a while we were bouncing around jobs, apartments, and daycares. In the last 4 years we found a home we have been in since 2012 - which is a blessing. It took us a while to find the perfect preschool and now here we are. The structure is amazing. The whole entire school is decorated and matches the learning and fun that each child gets to experience every day. He has grown through a couple classrooms and has made friends, knows his colors, the alphabet and can count to 20. They go outside every day and have a daily schedule visible for parents to see and understand. They do field trips to the movies and the splash pad, and allow the teachers the freedom and flexibility to develop curriculum, get to know the parents, and also know things about the students. I am so appreciative that they get to know them on a personal level and I am so happy to trust them with my child while I get through the workweek. A very communicative staff, an amazing and understanding owner, and a brilliant amount of potential all in one.

I called, and it was one of the staff's phone numbers, and she told me that the daycare is temporarily closed for an unknown reason and they don't know the time they will open. I didn't go to work for more than a week. After that, I decided to keep my kids home until I found good daycare. I lost my work schedule because of them. Moms do not take your kids there. They don't care at all. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I love that even if there's a minor incident which happens when you have a toddler we get documentation and explanations of what happened and even photographs. All in all I feel like our child is safe here and we really appreciate all the staff who seek to build healthy relationships with the kids not just babysit them.
