Finding affordable threading places in the UK was quite difficult for me, although I am unsure if others have had a similar experience. I felt that she would be the best person to go to. I made the appointment the very next day to get my eyebrows threaded. When I went into the salon she made me feel wellcome and relaxed. She explained the threading procedure again and put me at ease. I was so impressed with the results I told everyone about her. My boss went down the next week and made an appointment. First impressions: the décor was warm and exotic and the staff were friendly and attentive. I was quickly offered a drink then led into a room to begin the treatments. Following the very thorough salt scrub, the massage took around an hour and a half, maybe a bit less, and was AMAZING. I hadn't realised it would be full-body but the masseuse (Katie) covered head to toe. The face and back massages were particularly good. I left feeling completely destressed and very happy. I used to go to a spa that did threading and they would give you the full spa experience. To be honest when I am having hair ripped out of my face I don't really care if there is music playing in the background or scented candles lit. Here there is no need for that terrible small talk that is involved in many beauty treatments. They ask what you want done, e.g. eyebrows, and no other input is needed. Sometimes you do need to wait for a while, probably the longest I have waited is 20 minutes, but that's usually on a Saturday afternoon. If you are looking up their hours online don't expect them to stick to them at the end of the day. I've been here at 6.40pm before when they say they close at 7pm and they sent me away but I won't dock them a star for that because fair enough that they are tired after a long day. Seriously, you will get better treatment here for the price than you will in central London for four times the price, but don't forget to bring cash!

I also went there to get a Shellac done for my graduation. The lady was sarcastic and made me feel very uncomfortable. All the tools were left out and I didn't see a machine or anything that sanitizes them. The cuticle work was terrible and she put on so much Shellac my nails burned when it was put under the UV light. Will definately not get my nails done there ever again but if money is tight I may get my eyebrows done. Please also bare in mind a lot of people go there to get their eyebrows done so you may be waiting a while...
