After researching many locations, we thought this doggie daycamp and dog walking service would fit our needs. We emailed a brief questionnaire and received a call back a couple of days later. She let us know that they were already beyond their capacity of 15 dogs and had 17 at the moment. I had also inquired about dog walking and she didn't mention it until I asked. She claimed that I lived too far and that a 15 minute drive was not doable for her staff. That made no sense. I asked her how close I should live and she said, " 5 minutes." Her website states Lakewood is a city that they serve. See pic. After the call she literally proceeded to send me a text of how long it would take to drive to my house. Why?? Not sure, but I can only think that she's too scared to tell me that they don't want to deal with a pit bull. Be honest about your business practices and don't post Lakewood when you claim you don't service Lakewood. Citing gas prices and saying it's not worth it for 30 mins, just shows you're only interested in money. I never even said I only wanted 30 minute walks, you just assumed. read more

We've used Little Rascals for four years now and we wouldn't leave our two cats with anyone else. My partner and I can go away for just a few days--or five weeks--and not worry about our pets when we're halfway across the world. Everything about them is great. Before Little Rascals started their first pet-sitting appointment with us, one of the sitters (we have our favorite) came out to talk with us about our pets. He wanted to learn their likes and dislikes, how and what and how often to feed them, how to get access to the building and apartment, where the litter box was, and where he could dispose of the refuse. Very thorough. Little Rascals has a variety of pet services: sitting, pet walking, daycare, etc. We only need half-hour pet-sitting sessions since our cats are indoor cats. Then, when we were on vacation, we got photos of our cats texted to us from each visit--which really assured us that our pets were healthy and happy and that the sitter was showing up. Plus, we knew we could always contact our sitter in case something went wrong on our travels, or that he could contact us if something happened to the cats while we were away. Little Rascals uses an online app called PetPocketbook which makes it easy to set up and delete visits, view bills, etc. We pay using ApplePay which makes it fast and easy to pay (they bill by the week). The owner of Little Rascals, Michelle, runs a really great service and we've never had a bad experience with her or her pet sitters. Very professional. We highly recommend them. read more

DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE I am disappointed to be writing this review. On our very first day of doggy day care, the employee arrived over an hour and a half late from the time we were told they would be coming to pick up our pup. Upon arrival, the employee carelessly left the door open and our dog ran out forcing my boyfriend to go running out after our dog to stop her from running into the street. Unacceptable. The employee then did not put my dog's harness on but instead attached a leash to a 15 pound puppy who began squirming and whipping her head around around which is very dangerous for her neck. My boyfriend once again had to fix the problem by insisting that the employee put her harness on. We had also specifically requested that our dog be put in the crate so she did not get into trouble upon drop off. This was not done, leaving our dog free to roam around. This is extremely dangerous and she could have easily eaten something she wasn't supposed to. After voicing our concerns to the owner, I received an apology from him and the employee. However, in the employee's apology, I was informed that my dog has been carelessly let out AGAIN that afternoon. This was the first I had heard of it as I was not informed when the incident occurred or even the same day. My dog could have been seriously harmed or worse on three separate occasions in one day all because of the careless incompetence of the employee. Please do not trust these people with your pet. read more

Since I didn't already have a lock box, Amy got me set up with one on our first meeting. They charge the cost of the lock box to your first invoice, but then it's mine to keep. I really liked that Amy actually took notes when I showed her around and explained their schedules and quirks. I think I've had Amy watch my kids three of four times over the past few months and have not been disappointed. And it doesn't hurt that they are cheaper than the other service I was using (they don't charge extra for more than two cats)! read more

Our dogs Stan Lee and Abby have a few favorite people. I think it goes in this order-Papa, Mama, MICHELLE, then Aunties, Uncles and Emily. Michelle is our dog walker but Emily usually takes care of them for overnights. They are both amazingly loving and sweet with our fur babies. Michelle is always dependable and also very flexible. Riley is the one of the best cat sitters we have ever had take care of our pet. Everything was handled perfectly and I enjoyed the reports and pictures. Usually Clarabo loses her appetite when we are gone and when we get back she acts nervous and skittish.
