In reality the entrance is hidden on the side of a warehouse like building and you might have to pound hard on a couple of doors before anyone hears you over the noise of the sorting machines. Also, there is no bathroom here, only a port-o-potty (just so you know). On the other hand, our food came out quickly. My fried haddock basket was quite good with plenty of fresh and flaky fish, tartar sauce, an excellent cole slaw and those kind of coated fries that make them extra bumpy and crispy. On multiple occasions, items have arrived either undercooked or overcooked, with very little consistency from one visit to the next. Customer service has also been a significant concern. Interactions with the owner have been unprofessional and, at times, hostile. Most recently, I was confronted regarding comments I made on social media after I responded to one of the owner's public posts criticizing another local business. The conversation became inappropriate and left me feeling uncomfortable as a customer. I also find it concerning that the owner's social media presence frequently includes negative comments about customers and other local businesses. In a small community, professionalism and respectful communication matter. Unfortunately, based on my experiences with both the food quality and customer service, I cannot recommend this business.

Fantastic salt produced naturally - solar evaporated not heated, no drying agents, and great…read morenatural flavors like garlic, lemon, dulse, and apple, hickory, mesquite smoke. I usually buy coarse sea salt to season water for pasta or boiled lobster, and keep a little pot of fine sea salt on hand at my stove. But my favorite and most-used flavor is "Herbes Salées" which is based on a traditional Quebec/Acadian means of preserving herbs by layering fresh green herbs with salt. The combination of herbs is older than its French roots in North America. It harkens back further to the combination of thyme, sage, marjoram, fennel, and lavender of Herbes de Provence in France, but with the addition of salt. Absolutely delicious in traditional oven-baked French dishes, like potato gratin, ratatouille and tian vegetable, or roasted carrots, roasted Brussel sprouts, or turnip mash. I buy sel de Guerande whenever I go to France, particularly fleur de sel and sel marin (grey salt) but on these shores, Maine Sea Salt is the BEST!
