Nestled just outside of Main Street Lube is Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant. We stopped for Breakfast after our trip around New Brunswick, Canada. Greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly for our large group of 7, we chose to sit inside this rustic room. Breakfast was great! Looks like dinner would be amazing as well. I have the blueberry pancakes and they were a perfect fit for my craving before heading off on a 4 1/2 trek home.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff! Food was not bad...crab cake was all crab meat but cold, fish was overcooked and the staff was very unorganized. We waited over an hour for our food and finally inquired as we noticed others that were sat after us receiving their food. Waitress did apologize and gave a discount, however we were disappointed with the food once it arrived. I would give them another try, as I think they need to be more organized for efficiency.

I had an amazing lunch of lobster roll, sweet potato fries and slaw by myself and sat on the deck overlooking the water. It was quiet and peaceful, and the food was delicious. The staff and other diners, who were mostly local, were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Staff was friendly, they had a small gift shop, the view was beautiful, we sat on the lower deck (you can only get alcohol on the upper deck but that didn't concern us) able to see across to Canada, lots of little fishing boats in the water, we enjoyed our visit. Crab cakes were fresh, burger was well cooked, sweet potato fries yum, lobster stew was good also

Lubec doesn't have many restaurants, especially after Labor Day. Mom and I ate here twice, both for dinner. The 1st time, Mom had the steamed clam appetizer (this thing was huge), and the lobster roll. I had the Maine scallops, which were tender, sweet, and well cleaned. The 2nd time, Mom had the fish tacos with onion rings, and I had their burger. Both were very good.

This is how my $35+ dinner arrived. Would you eat that? That's not sanitary.

After a four-hour drive from Portland, Maine and a multi-day journey from Florida--with barely a real meal since Friday night--I arrived completely exhausted and starving. Unfortunately, what I hoped would be a comforting dinner turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. Welcome to Maine! I ordered the salmon and asked to substitute a side of soup, which I was more than willing to pay extra for. But when my food arrived, I was stunned. The salmon was served on a tiny saucer, and the bowl of soup was literally placed on top of it. The soup was cold, and the handle of the spoon was sticky. I had to ask the server to reheat the soup and replace the spoon--basic things that should never be overlooked. When I finally got around to trying the salmon, it was dry, crusty, and completely flavorless--not even a lemon wedge for garnish. I asked for one and gave it another try, added salt... nothing helped. After one more small bite, I gave up. I asked for a baked potato instead, and when it arrived, I handed the salmon back nearly untouched. The waitress, Hope, didn't ask a single question--not "Was something wrong?" or "Can I get a manager?" No concern, no apology. Just silence and walked away. Please see the attached photo--does that look appetizing to you? It tasted just as bad as it looked. Cold, bland, with charred, inedible edges. That's how my $35+ salmon dinner was presented. I was never asked how my food was. And when the bill came, I was still charged full price, with no acknowledgment of the baked potato (which I think became my side) or the cup of clam chowder. When I brought it up, Hope told me, "Just because you didn't like the salmon doesn't mean you don't have to pay for it." She also insisted that because she had made a special effort to substitute soup--even though it wasn't a listed side--switching to a baked potato meant that was now my side. Her logic made no sense, and her attitude was cold and condescending. I was genuinely stunned. She didn't speak to anyone else like that but me. I honestly didn't say anything else but what I have stated here. Everyone at the table couldn't believe it. It's like she hated me. I understand people have rough days, but there was zero empathy or effort to make things right. After all that travel, hunger, and exhaustion, this meal--and the service--left me completely disheartened. Even if it were the only place open, I wouldn't eat here again. Ever.

Well where do I start.. Waited 30mins to get any type of service. Had to go to counter to place order, another 5-8mins for water and silverware. And over an hour (30mins after ordering) to receive our food. Mussels were good, lobster stew would have been better but if warm, lobster roll was ok (plan, nothing to it). Be prepared to wait and don't expect anything exceptional.

Came here for lunch. Seemed like they were overwhelmed when we got here and were given a table for 4 people. She staff isn't very friendly and honestly seems like we were in accommodating. After going back and forth we finally got a table. We were ushered to our table. It seemed to be busy and the wait staff was overwhelmed. Our waitress was very busy and trying to do her best. She finally came to take our orders after handling several tables. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and blueberry margarita. Both came out quickly and I even commented on how busy the wait staff was to support them. The wrap was good and flavorful as well as the drink. The fries were very fresh and tasty.Overall we felt rushed and un accommodated. Prices were ok tho

Loved the place. Great seating right on the water. Good food. Great service. Worth visiting the eastern most US place.

    Steamed clams and lobster roll

We had a lobster rolls and steamed clams. They both were delicious. We took cake home with us a lemon and a chocolate both were good but the lemon was better. Pick a different restaurant close by the next time and wish we would have came back here.

View of Canada from the patio.

First, this is one of the few places we found that served lobster stew, our favorite, and it was excellent. We had lunch here just because we were hungry and it was close but we enjoyed the food so much we returned twice for dinner with our family. Word of warning: the wait to get seated was usually around 30-40 minutes and they appear to be short on wait staff so service is slow. The wait staff were working as fast as they could so I can not be critical of them, but plan on a long leisurely meal.

Food was flavorless, but there aren't many restaurant options within 30 miles, so you're stuck. Order a salad.

From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The dining room is elegant, warm, and inviting, and the outdoor deck is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of being refined without feeling pretentious. The food was outstanding--beautifully prepared, incredibly flavourful, and clearly made with care. The wine selection was equally impressive, with a wonderful variety that made choosing just one bottle the hardest part of the evening! What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the hospitality. Christy, the owner, is one of those rare people who makes every guest feel genuinely welcome. When my grandson became a little restless, she kindly took him for a little walk and showed him around so my daughter and I could enjoy our meal. That small act of kindness meant so much to us, and it's something we'll never forget. It's rare to find a restaurant where every detail--from the food and wine to the atmosphere and service--is so thoughtfully done. The Chandler Room is one of those special places that leaves you already looking forward to your next visit. I only wish I had discovered it sooner so I could have brought other family members while they were visiting. We will absolutely be back, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Chandler Room to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in St. Andrews.

The patatas bravas are always excellent, same is to be said of the tuna tartar or ceviche, whichever they have on the menu. I don't think I have ever eaten a plate that I did not like. I have my favourites, as one does, but everything that I have tried truly amuses my bouche. Servers are always punctual. I have never felt I have waited long for any plate or drink. The wine selection is above satisfactory, and they shake up a mean cocktail for those who prefer luscious tastes of liquor. They have a good selection of beer, if memory serves me correctly, but wine is much better suited for the food they serve. The whole restaurant is very nice. It was once a house that was converted to its current form. If you are lucky enough to be seated at the outside table with the fireplace, you are definitely in the best seats in the house. The view on the patio is stunning, as you gaze into the Passamaqoddy Bay. It is not always possible to get a reservation there, as it is rightfully seen as the pearl of the oyster that is the Saint Andrews food scene.
