Debated between a 3 and a 4 star review. Overall it's a good hotel, the room was good sized and the bed was nice to sleep in. However, it's the little things that separate hotels from each other, and I found this one lacking in a few spots. The bathroom set up was very strange, the sink was a stand alone and it was very small. There is a slim "counter" on the side of it, but it doesn't do much because it's so narrow. The hotel also doesn't offer much for tv channels, you get like 20-30, and none of the channels are premium like HBO, Showtime, ect. It's very limited which was unfortunate. Lastly, outside the main hotel doors were people digging through the trash and the cigarette disposal. I know the staff can't control everything, but I would like to see them keeping people like that away from the front door. read more

We are loyal to the Marriott brand and chose this hotel because it's in the heart of downtown Little Rock and we can walk around the city from here. We valeted our car for $30 a day with in & out privileges. Check-in was quick and easy, we were given four bottles of water. Room 1403 was well designed, clean, spacious and comfortable for our stay. We needed our key to access the elevator. There was a large fitness center with cardio, free weights and machines. A Starbucks and Heritage Restaurant are in the lobby. The hotel has many conference rooms & is connected to the convention center next door. We had access to the M club room. Snacks, drinks, and a breakfast buffet we're offered here. Unfortunately, the happy hour buffet is only Monday through Thursday. Breakfast included meats, eggs, home fries, oatmeal, cereals, cappuccinos, juices, fruits, pastries ... What a great hotel. You can't go wrong with the location, it's right on the river and right spank in the middle of everything. There are so many bars, restaurants, and museums within a few blocks walking distance. We elected to bougie out and do the valet which is $30 per night at the time of this writing. The valet was great. They had our car ready without any waiting on our end whenever we needed it. Check in was pretty quick. The wait time for the elevators is probably less than average to average. They gave me a room right next to the elevator which normally would annoy me but we didn't really hear anything. The room was average level of spaciousness. The bathroom was pretty big. The shower was lovely, nice water pressure and easy to figure out controls. The hooks for the towels were in a weird place though. If you're like us and never close the door when you use the bathroom, you have to sit sideways on the toilet. There was plenty of room for bathroom products. The towels were soft and I appreciated the quantity and variety of towel sizes provided. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. I also appreciated the quantity of pillows provided. GF likes pillows. The AC worked well. They have a clock and outlets by the beds. I LOVE that they have this light under the nightstand that turns on in the middle of the night when motion is detected. Holy shit. What an incredible feature. Our view was amazing. We saw the state house, river, and that bridge. The sunsets were incredible. We got an ad hoc fireworks show on our last night. I like that Marriott gives you the option of using some streaming services (Netflix, amazon, max). One of the channels we wanted to watch on the regular TV was pixelated and very difficult to watch, which was a bummer. They also have less channels than some other hotels. Housekeeping took care of our room but I was bummed to see that my take out leftovers weren't removed from the room. I suppose that I could have put them on teh trash (didn't fit inside). The only other negative is that when we first walked into the room it smelled terrible. I don't want to say trash or sewage, GF said it best when she described it as "a sweaty sports bra". It was not a nice smell. We got used to it eventually but maybe they could work on that. Ultimately a very good place to stay and I would stay again. read more

Excellent location and the lobby area is very spacious and clean. The room was "nice" - a bit dated but adequate. My only gripe, REMODEL THOSE BATHROOMS! I would have expected a walk in shower. Overall, I'd consider staying again. Bonus points: the valets were super nice. The initial gentleman (a heavier dark skinned guy with a natural hair style) was super nice and very personable. I know how the valet system works at most hotels with the text request process but didn't deprive him of explaining to us. He took his time, asked if we had questions and welcomed us to Little Rock. Roderick Fields! From the moment I checked in this brother was professionally kind and efficient. I can be somewhat of a pest and each day I asked him something he was always gracious. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... We stayed at the hotel for two (2) nights... Two (2) other families were in our traveling party... They have the worst valet service I have ever seen... The hotel only offers valet parking; no other options... Upon arrival, the line to get into the hotel turnaround stretched over a block down the street; it took about 30 minutes to reach the valet... As we were arriving, one of the other families were waiting and said they had been waiting about 20 minutes and didn't have their car... When we left the hotel that first night, we took UBER instead of dealing with valet... The next day, both times we left took 30+ minutes to get our car... When we returned to the hotel at about 10:00pm, the line stretched about 2 blocks down the street... After 20 minutes of waiting and not moving, we went to a surface lot that was about three (3) blocks away and walked back to the hotel (with temperature in the low 30s)... Valets, front desk- no one really cared and there was no sense of urgency by anyone... When I told the guy at the front desk, he said a lot of people have complained have complained and he will make sure the problems are noted in the overnight report for the managers... read more

I really enjoyed my stay during a recent conference. The room was very comfortable- room service was always timely. All of the common areas of the hotel were very well maintained and there was always staff available. I absolutely enjoyed everything..... EXCEPT the valet. Not sure how they missed the mark on the second day but it appeared to be a problem in management. Otherwise it was a great time! Very convenient, great walking distance to restaurants in downtown Little Rock, excellent for conventions. Staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful. Hotel has a nice big lobby with comfortable chairs and secure for guest. Hotel rooms could use an update we stayed in on the 10th floor facing the city the view was very nice, hotel has a grand feel. I would recommend and would stay at this location again, -1 star for lack of updates as in paint chipping in lobby ceiling and air unit in hotel room possibly needing to be serviced due to moisture, stagnant smell. read more

Located adjacent to the convention center in Downtown Little Rock. It's one of the larger hotels in the area but only has valet parking. Check in was quick but I also arrived very late and no one else was there. Great views of the bridge. You need a key card once you get in the elevator to go to your rooms which is a good safety measure and there was security guard present which you could never be too cautious nowadays. Rooms are modern with a good amount of USB plugs throughout. I was there during a heat wave and AC was keeping up with cooling down the room. Bed is super comfortable, room very spacious with a L-shaped couch and small table, large working desk. Love when the bathroom has great lighting and lots of mirrors and spacious counter-space for all my stuff. The concierge lounge was 24 hours and was fully stocked with snacks and beverages so this was convenient since I arrived late and was starving. Good options for hot food for breakfast too. My only complaint was elevators were super slow and they even had four. The hotel was busy that week so maybe guests were just holding them on floors. read more

This is a decent place for the price, and I would go back. The rooms seem like they need some minor upgrades like bathroom vent fans for the humid climate as well as dealing with the musty smell. It is a nice place, so those basic things should be there. The room service was great, and the "health club" provided a complete gym with a sauna, even though it was on the older side. Most importantly, the room and hotel were very clean, though housekeeping did come a little later in the day than I prefer. For Little Rock, I'd give 4 stars, though I might give 3.5 in bigger cities. Oh, and the valet service was a little slow at times, though very friendly. read more

This is a beautiful property ideally located close to downtown Little Rock and its Riverwalk. The hotel is well populated with meeting rooms, ballrooms, and one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen. The front desk staff can be a bit pretentious at check-in and over the phone, but the valet staff is very helpful and more friendly. The bar staff is great and they are both friendly and professional to the customers. The atmosphere at the bar is festive and not as stuffy as you would expect in such a nice establishment. read more

Traveled for work and we stayed at the Marriott. The staff were friendly and the room was really clean. I could hear the conversation in the other room, however, I think that person spoke loud anyway. They had a good snack area and an upscale restaurant. They have a fridge but no microwave. Wonderful hotel with friendly staff located in Downtown Little Rock. COVID-19 precautions are clearly noted via a sign that states that unvaccinated guests must wear a mask at all times while vaccinated guests have the option to choose whether or not to wear a mask in public. Additional security precautions for guests include having to use one's hotel key in order to access upper level hotel rooms. The hotel room is spacious and has lovely amenities including a large TV, a comfortable chaise, a desk area, several areas to charge your electrical devices, and adjustable bedside lamps. As someone who likes to exercise, I really appreciated the large fitness center inside the hotel which is open 24 hours a day and is accessible using your hotel room key. I liked that there was signage asking fitness center users to wipe down equipment before and after use. The fitness center contains four treadmills, a recumbent bike, a upright bike, and three elliptical trainers. Also inside the fitness center, there is a variety of strength training equipment as well as weighed medicine balls and dumbbells ranging from 5 pounds up to 50 pounds. Lastly, I liked that the hotel has a gift shop which provides a variety of items including food, beverages, clothing, and Arkansas souvenirs to purchase. Overall, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay when in Little Rock and I'd absolutely recommend staying there if you're in the area. read more

Very disappointing venue! This is supposed to be LR's signature hotel in 2025 and we have popcorn ceilings. Really? The carpet is worn, no updated charging stations, dated/old outlets. Very old towels that have evidently been re-cycled beyond satisfactory use. Lighting needs improvement in the room and bathroom. Not at the Marriott standards that I'm use to in other cities. However the bed and pillows were good. Rested comfortably! But I do not recommend this hotel if there are newer options in the city. read more

We stayed here Valentine's weekend. Right from the start, valet was horribly unorganized. Cars were parked in front of entrance a mile long with no one in them. The hotel was at full capacity and elevators were out of order. We were on the 11th floor and had to make 2 trips up and down the stairs with all of our luggage just to get out. Then we had to stand for hours just to get our vehicle from valet whom had no clue what they were doing and even misplaced (lost)a guest car. The management here was so clueless of the magnitude of the situation she just stood there waiting to see if anyone would complain instead of notifying the guest of the elevator issues prior to departure. Groups of people young and old are just standing at the elevator waiting on the doors to open when management know they are out of service. This place is a hazard and should be shut down for maintenance. We will be contacting corporate immediately. read more

Great stay while at Little Rock area! Centrally located so can easily walk to many of the tourist attractions nearby. Gorgeous lobby with on site bar and Starbucks. Room is spacious, and have been updated recently so plenty adaptors for your gadgets. Great shower pressure and bathroom setup as well. It is one of the few Marriotts that I feel the bathroom size is proportion to the guest room size not cramping everything altogether. Overall, a very great night sleep and leaving rejuvenated. read more

Room can be kept cool and dark. Good sitting area, with small table for drinks, etc. Reasonably comfortable bed. Small fridge for a few drinks. Throughout the hotel and the rooms, there's a slightly worn feel. Bathroom fixtures not quite on right, squeaky doors, nothing major, just not top notch. There's a potentially cool feature where a light comes on under the nightstand when it detects motion, but more than one was not working during our stays. Really liked the tv streaming function. Log on to several available streaming services, or select the option to plug in HDMI and stream from your device. Restaurant is above average, the chef really seems to care about delivering quality, and everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and nicely prepared. Hard to get a luggage cart both times we needed one. The valets were as helpful as they could be, but if there are no carts, there are no carts. That seems an easy problem to solve. Valet can take some time to retrieve your car, so just be aware of that up front. read more

The hotel is clean comfortable and well operated. The location couldn't be better, walking distance from several restaurants and The President Bill Clinton Library. Rooms are spacious. I've had both city and river views(preferred). The staff here is also very friendly no matter midnight or early in the morning they always say hello. This is a full-service hotel with a restaurant and Starbucks with in the grounds. I've stayed here three times during my previous stays they were conventions is being held, which makes for a busy lobby area. The concierge lounge located on the lobby floor. Can be accessed by platinum Bonvoy members( or just try your room key a few times knowing it will fail, someone will see you and just say "my key is not working" and they let you in). Nice comfortable, serves breakfast and dinner with dat no extra charge. Limited wine and beer selection. The only downside to this hotel is the parking situation, with limited garage parking, valet is required at a charge of $25 a night. read more

Rooms needs some attention regarding routine maintenance and they really weren't up to Marriott standards. The hotel common area was freezing the whole time we were there and they were unable to regulate the temp. Front desk staff is just "okay". They aren't stellar or memorable. My visit here started off pretty shaky. We called from the airport for the shuttle to the hotel and were told not only that the shuttle wasn't running anymore, but that there was no record of us staying there. When we assured them we were supposed to be there we were told to take a cab. It was after 1 in the morning when we got to the hotel because we were on a late night flight. There were five of us and we were staying for two nights. There were two guests in front of us checking in when we got to the hotel so we waited about fifteen minutes before we got checked in. The front desk person seemed frazzled but she was the only one there and she had seven people checking in. She found our reservation and said she hadn't found it before because she had us checking in on December 2. Our flight wasn't scheduled to land until after midnight so it was the second. It felt like we were an annoyance to her. Not very welcoming after a long day working. When I got to my room I discovered I had been given a handicapped room. The bathroom was wheelchair friendly so the sink was small and lacked space to put things. The hardest part was the shower. I am only 5''4" and I had to duck for the shower. It would have been nice if I had been told my room was handicapped friendly. The room itself was very large and comfortable. The bed was great and the temperature of the room very comfortable. I had no problem getting it just like I wanted it. The decor is pleasant and the room felt clean. Since I didn't get to my room until after 2 in the morning, I slept in that first day. My room was on the fourth floor and looked straight out to a roof. I was laying on my bed in underwear and a pajama top when two men working on the roof appeared outside my window. Awkward and totally unexpected. Fortunately their work didn't last long. Apparently my colleague said something to the person that checked us in about her demeanor and it not being our fault that they didn't see our reservation. The next day there was an envelope pushed under my door that had a voucher for a free buffet breakfast or lunch. Since I had already decided where I was heading to eat I asked the front desk if I could get a coffee at Starbucks instead. That was a different option on the voucher. They kindly agreed. The Starbucks is in the lobby. I had left my Do Not Disturb sign on my door when I went out. Upon returning I ran into the young lady cleaning the rooms on my floor. She asked if I needed anything or wanted fresh towels. She could have easily ignored me. The hotel is in a fantastic location. It was my first time in Little Rock and there were loads of restaurants and things to do close to the hotel. If you go to the right out of the hotel, the State House is next door. There is a free museum in it that was fun to check out. The two things that made me give the hotel four stars were the voucher under my door ((They realized we were not treated like valued guests), and the great attitude of the young lady from housekeeping. I only wish I had gotten her name. Otherwise there would have been less stars from me. read more

Worked well for me! Rooms with views either city or river just book ahead. Beds are way comfy and pillows. Linens and towels are great. No refrigerator on floor 14 so if you needed one make sure not to be on that floor. Parking is secured, valet is the way to go fir $20/night. And first time ever valet were all women! Black women wahooo go LR Marriott Booked thru Bonvoy app and checked in but didn't get my digital key. So used a normal key. Bars stay open late. Starbucks in the building which is very helpful. But they close early at 1pm everyday?! Crazy Cool free museum next door. Walk to the riverfront and junction bridge is great also the river market. Great location. read more

I attended a banquet in February 2024. The menu was chicken, mashed potatoes And steamed zucchini. The meal was horrible. The chicken had no flavor and was supper rubbery. I had to pull the skin back to get to the dry chicken. The vegetables and potatoes was just as bad. Rolls were cheap and cold. Marriott please do better. Very disappointing. They say check in at a certain time but rooms not ready, so now we have an 80 year old grandma sleeping on a couch because it's 45 minutes or more till we can get into our room. Worst part is !!!! We are the only ones still waiting. I don't feel like the front desk was very accommodating or even sympathetic in any way and the only thing they can say is "it's house keeping" and she can't do anything. I have went up several times to follow up and I just get the annoyed look. We feel so unwelcome and it make me wonder if it because of race. read more

By far, the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott. Passing through Little Rock, as there were crazy storms, we decided to spend the night. As usual, I booked the "top" Marriott I could find. This type of hotel, being a flagship Marriott, is usually some of the best luxury you could find at a hotel, not in Little Rock. Started off with paying for a high floor room, which came with M club access. Unfortunately during check in, no one mentioned anything about the m club. I had to call later to even find out where it is (first floor by elevators). When we finally did find it, all it had was some stale cookies and a coffee machine, on a Friday! No snacks, no drinks, nothing! What a rip off. That would of been a minor issue if not for the in room dining catastrophe. To make a long story short, apparently the in room dining menu is different then the restaraunt menu! Except they don't tell you this... My wife being a vegetarian, she tried to order the eggplant, which they were out of. This left the only choice being the "vegetarian pasta" which came with a white whine sauce according to the menu. My wife is allergic to cheese, so I specifically said "no cheese in this dish's right?" The guy said ofcourse. I ordered the "14 ounce bone in Berkshire pork chop" An hour later, the same guy who picked up the phone brought the food! Except he didn't bring it on a roller, he brought one tray, and left it on the desk, then brought the other dish and just left it on the floor! I was in disbelief, but whatever, we wanted to have a good night and we're willing to let a lot of things go. Unfortunately next came the food. Instead of a white wine sauce in the pasta, it was a cream and cheese sauce. And the 14 oz pork chop was actually two sad looking tiny pork chops. My wife could t even eat her food so we called and asked for money back. What proceeded to happen is the kitchen staff came up to our room, with the head of security named darrel, and demanded our uneaten food abck to get a refund, and proceeded to threaten to run in and take it if we didn't. I was flabbergasted, called the front desk and asked for a manager to come up. Immediately the kitchen staff just walked away without saying anything. The head of security kept saying "I don't know what's going on, let me find out" then he left as wel and didn't come up. No manager ever came up or even called us back. We ended up packing up at 10 pm and heading to the residence inn as we were afraid to stay in this hotel. Got an entire refund, plus 20000 points but never did hear from any management despite the promises of the hotel. Left my number and eMail. This hotel ruined what should of been a great night, and delayed us on our trip. I've never had an experience as bad as this at any hotel, much less a Marriott. The thing that still bothers me the most is the complete lack of care or oversight of their employees. Ms. Taylor from the kitchen was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. This stay has affected me, and I will think twice before booking a Marriott again. read more

First of all, don't use their $25 valet parking--street parking is free all day Saturday and Sunday and between 6 pm and 8 am weekdays and you can download an app and manage your very nearby parking space from your phone. They will let you park your car temporarily in the valet area by the entrance to check in and bring your things up. A big, beautiful hotel with a large lobby connected to the convention center (which is currently Covid closed.) We got rooms on the 16th and 17th floors with great views of downtown from one room and the river from another. The rooms we had included a king sized bed and a cute little sectional couch and neutral gray decor which I would normally be bored by but it was different patterns and textures and were fun. Loved the tiles in the shower--large and looked sort of like wood. Funky white end table. And the bed and sheets and pillows --I will never leave! So cozy and heavenly! Because of Covid, they only have maid service every fourth day, so we requested towels and more coffee and they delivered it to our room quickly. Not sure if this was because we were Titanium, but we got free vouchers for a coffee and breakfast sandwich at the attached Starbucks. It is right on the middle of downtown, right next door the the State House (free!) the River Walk (free!) the Junction Bridge (free!) and you can walk to any type of restaurant you want, or the Farmers Market. There is a walkable sculpture garden, kids area with boulder climbing wall and slide and instrument clanging around area ( all free!) The room was clean, had good air conditioning, and functioned well in all areas. The employees were friendly and courteous. Well done! read more

We had a small conference here for one of our sites, no issues during our conference. The staff was on the ball compared to many other Marriotts we've held our conference at across the US. The catered buffet was also better than the other Marriotts we've been at, in Florida, South Carolina etc. Rooms were updated, not entirely well thought out, at least in the bathroom. With the bathroom door open, you have no space to step safely out of the shower. WiFi worked swimmingly, had no delays nor was it throttled. Valet parking is recommended, also recommend calling down at least ten minutes in advance to get your car, it was extremely slow. If you are able to find self parking-props to you. Many restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel, location is pretty spot on. I saw a Marriott van, I assume it goes to and from the airport and other main locations within Little Rock. If we go back, I would stay at this hotel again. It's updated, the Christmas decorations were beautiful and staff was friendly and informative. read more

The valet boys are a little chaotic and less-than-friendly and it doesn't have a pool. :( But overall a great place to stay... even when you wake up to the national news talking about a shooting that took place 4 blocks away. The room looked blah. My room had a terrible odor. It was either coming from the air vents or the carpet. It really smells like mildew. The bathrooms are very small and no ventilation when using the showers. The room is tight, even for ironing The air conditioner barely work and the room just felt damp. This hotel is a great fit for those traveling for short business trips or those passing through. I also didn't like that there wasn't parking; other than valet. In addition, my television kept glitching and making a static noise and blinking on and off. The channel choices are terrible; watching movies is you best bet. The remote doesn't work properly. Flushing the toilet..... I wouldn't book here ever again. It just feels old. Where are the sockets for plugging in technology? However, this location offers great convenience for walking to near by restaurants. read more

We always select Little Rock Marriott for our stays in Arkansas. The rooms are super clean, the beds and linens are luxurious and comfortable. Hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. The M Club lounge is well appointed and offers a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. During our most recent stay we dined at the hotel restaurant Heritage Grille. Both the food and service were excellent. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium level customer, I have come to expect outstanding service from Marriott Hotels. Sadly to say this Marriott property DOES NOT live up to expectations. COVID has given so many industries the excuse for poor service but none more than the hotel industry. If you stay here expect to wait 30 minutes to get your car out of valet and have no one answer your call at the front desk. On a high note, the rooms are clean. Upon walking in the hotel I expect the first person I see at the front desk to greet me and be friendly. Not here. I got a "do you need something?" And that was it. Not much for customer service. That aside, my stay was wonderful! The valet, the shuttle driver, the room, the gym, etc! The rooms are beautiful! I had a small room with a king bed and let me say, I didn't want to leave that bed! It was heaven! The bathrooms are a good size and there's even an L shaped sofa in a sitting area in the room. The gym is HUGE compared to most hotels!! There were 4 treadmills, 2 bikes, 3 ellipticals and enough cable and weight equipment to give a small private gym a run for their money! The shuttle driver was great! Not to mention right on time! That's a first. We had to leave at 7:45 and he walked up to us at exactly 7:43. The drive to the airport was painless and quick. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying downtown. We were only here for one night, but it was great. You are a hop and a skip away from the action of the bars. But be careful when while walking on the side walk, you may run into someone's insides ... The bed was absolutely comfortable! read more
