This review has been a long time and coming. I don't know when this was -maybe a year ago; I was…read morestanding in line to check out my goods when I noticed what looked like the manager talking down to a rather young employee, and she was not being very nice. The way I saw it, this manager did NOT care about what we customers were thinking. I don't remember the issue very well . . . The younger employee wouldn't put up with being mistreated, so she refused to do what the manager said. Then I saw the manager put her hands on the other employee, and that's when I and a lot of other customers left. I don't know what happened to that young employee, but assume it can't be good, because it looks like that manager has a good degree of control in that place. I will not be back, and likely many other customers won't, either. :(

My experience yesterday was something out of the ordinary. I have never experienced anything like it in South Florida when I've shopped at TJ Maxx. I won't put details here but I can tell you that it was very disappointing. I definitely took the opportunity to write about it in the survey that they sent me via email with my receipt. The experience upset me so much that I contemplated making my daughter and her friend return the purchases that we made yesterday but I opted not to do so. The girls were oblivious to the experience, two giddy teenage girls that were just happy to be out shopping for the day while on vacation. I picked out a few items, but the purpose of our trip was for them to shop and while I was trailing and waiting on them. While waiting, I had time to observe what was happening while we were in the store and it was not a comfortable experience.

I did get a sturdy metal and plastic scoop for $20.99. Now I better get out on the beach to use it! Was interested in a hat but didn't try any on. As I was walking to checkout saw a few cute sweatshirts and t-shirts. Their sign outside has a huge 75% off sale sign painted on the side of the building g but the only way I figured that came into play was when you bought the shirts that are buy 3 get one free. As it's getting into March and spring break time I may wait until next November/December to go back and check out some of the sweatshirts and hats. Our cashier was friendly enough.
