Terrible, I would not bother…read more A few months back I lost my job. I wanted to put my son in daycare while I interviewed for a new job. When I called the daycare they told me that they accept vouchers. I explained to them that I have a few interviews lined up and that city would provide me with a voucher it was very important that my child start Oct 24. They told me they had space and would be willing to accept my son. 3 days later I get a voucher from the city and go to the school to complete my son's registration. When I arrive, they tell me that my son cannot start the day that's on the voucher. And even when he starts he cannot stay the whole day even though the city voucher covers a full day. I hear this is not the case for a paying family. This Executive Director makes special accommodations for paying families. I was very disheartened by this treatment as well as the assumption of who my and my child was because I had a voucher. My previous job paid over 100K and I only got a voucher to help with my child temporarily and once I started working was prepared to pay the 1200 a month for my son, but since they assumed I was poor they treated me as such. Not only was their customer service trash, they totally screwed my schedule and I missed out a job opportunity. Day care centers are supposed to be an extension of family as they care for your child while you are out making a living.I was beyond disappointed by their treatment and lack of concern to resolve my issue but had I been a paying parent my son would be able to start immediately.

This camp is an atrocity! On my first day at Young People's Day Camp as I got off the bus, the…read morekids were using excessive profanity, and right in front of the counselors. Apparently, the supervision at this camp was the equivalent of teenage mothers: being your friend instead of your mom. Thus, the following three incidences... 1. My counselor actually gave our group permission to "moon" the camp group across the field from us, which I did NOT participate in. He counted down for them so they can bare their behinds on cue simultaneously. As our counselor said, "One, two, three," they shouted at the group across from us to get their attention. As soon as the group turned to look, my group went full "moon patrol" and shouted, "Eat THIS!" What was their (including the counselor) retaliation? Yup, you guessed it. They mooned us back. 2. My counselor exchanged dirty jokes with us. As I was about to tell him a joke, I warned him of how dirty it is, as I was fearful of getting in trouble. He, of course, said to not worry about it and to go ahead. After I got to the punch-line, he "high-fived me" in amazement and laughed hysterically. Finally, the tip of the iceberg: while seated next to my counselor during a field trip to the movies, the kid sitting behind my counselor kept kicking his seat. So my counselor hovered over his seat and beat the kid up. Parents, BEWARE! That big, yellow, smiley-faced balloon is false advertising.

They have this crazy bus driver in the bronx who i'll call pedro who drives and looks to be on some kind of drugs" and one evening pick up had the kids on the bus crying. They could never decide on a steady pick up and drop off time so unless you have back up you will have problems with this camp. All the trips they advertise are false, be prepared to pack your childs lunch and snack for the entire summer because they dont provide that as well. And dont let it be extremely hot for your kids will be outside in tibets park all day for ypdc dose not have a primary location of there own. Very disapointed in Bob the director and the whole disorganized camp in general
