It can get a bit chilly on the beach at the Hotel del Coronado, so it was nice to find a store with some cute hoodies for both boys and girls. What catches your eye first are those beautiful window displays. The surfboards and colorful clothes make this store really fun. The playful art in the window was very cute as well. My son needed at jacket, and we found a great Quicksilver hoodie right away. It was nice to find something he'd actually wear after our trip to The Del. There was were also cute clothes and accessories for girls here too. Backpacks, hats, jewelry, and a small selection of toys are here too. The customer service was wonderful here as well. The salesperson helped my son find the right sized jacket right away. She was also so knowledgeable about the hotel. When we told her that we were visiting the Hotel del Coronado for their stunning Christmas tree, she so helpfully told us about the tree's history and some fun information about the hotel's annual Christmas ornament. This is such a cute little store. Full of fun apparel and accessories, there's something here for any child. With great service and knowledgeable staff, this is a wonderful stop for any parent or child visiting this great resort!

I made the mistake of coming to this store on 2/14/25. I had no idea where it was in the mall (my bad they do have maps I just didn't check them) so I walked the whole length of the bottom floor and the whole length of the top floor dragging my 8 year old and dad who was visiting from out of town. The store is on the second floor near Macy's. I came to this store to return some of the items I bought online. I ordered my kid a 10/12 and they freaked out at how "big" they were. I didn't want to deal with reordering them so decided to return them. I had 5 items to return. The clerk told me a total and it seemed right. I got my receipt "emailed" (spoiler alert it never came!) and since I parked by Macy's I exited the mall. The whole time I could not figure out why the numbers seemed off to me. Once I got home I checked and even though I returned 5 items they only gave me money back for 4. No big deal right? Except they kept the 5th shirt. I had already schlepped down and back to this mall no way was I going again. I went online and filled out a customer service form. Waited the weekend, heard back they will give me my money back. Said it would take 3-5 days. Waited 3-5 days. It never came. Decided I am done with this company and drove down there again to return all the items from my order as I do not want to support a company that steals items and money from people. Second return went fine. I got money for all the items I returned. The store is super crowded (with stuff not people) the 2x I was in there within 1 month there was no more than 2 employees and never any one else shopping. Their clothes are cheap because they are low quality. The leggings and shirts are practically see through. I did keep one shirt sized 10/12 and it shrunk up super small (I washed it on warm permanent press and dried on low heat like I do any other new items purchased and have never had this happen). I will no longer buy from this company and thankfully because of that will not have to drive to this location again. I now have to do a charge back to get my money back since the store kept my item, did not refund me the money, corporate did not refund me the money. You get what you pay for (or don't) so beware.

I didn't think to look at the bottom of the feet while I was purchasing thinking I was buying NEW clothing so I go back to the store (an hr later) which was a drive. When I was returning the item the worker seemed bothered that I was returning it, gave me an attitude and I felt like I was wasting her time (worker was pregnant, maybe wasn't in the mood to give good customer service) Had that been me I would had apologize to the customer and also apologize for the inconvenience of driving back to the store. The store isn't crammed with racks. I can actually get around with a stroller. Staff approaches you and offers help. They don't look at me sideways when my terrible 2 kid screams. One employee saw that I was at my wits end with my kid and offered to hold him for a minute. I asked her to hold me instead. ****DIG THIS**** A couple of weeks ago, they opened up the store 2 hours early on a Saturday. They brought Santa Claus in for the children. He was so perfect, jolly and beautiful. My kids absolutely adored him. I don't know if the children's place advertised it enough, because the place was empty. My kids had Santa all to themselves for almost an hour! My 10 year old daughter has been getting teased at school because she still believes in Santa Claus. It almost got her to stop believing. Seeing Santa and spending some personal time with him boosted her Christmas spirit by a million points. This actually means a lot to our family. So thank you children's place.
