This was my first experience renting baby equipment and it was great. I never had to wonder if the double stroller would be at the hotel on time, I got a text the day before and again just as we landed that the stroller would be there and again saying it was delivered - great customer service. The equipment was clean, safe and was perfect for the week at the Safari park and Zoo. I think the price was extremely fair for the use of the stroller and delivery/pickup. I hope they open a branch in Anaheim/Disneyland. I rented a double stroller there also this trip, with a different company and that was a 4 star rental (I wanted to get my stroller a day earlier and called a few days before and their phone system didn't work and the email was undeliverable no way to contact the company) I would be a loyal customer to Babies on Vacation if they rented in the Disney area, I go to Anaheim more than San Diego. Over all this is a wonderful company both live on the phone- talked to a nice guy that helped me figure out how to get what I needed, they offered to meet me at the rental car place if I needed a car seat. read more

Would put 10 stars if I could! I traveled to San Diego stayed at the Marriott Courtyard obviously hotel is fully equipped, but I didn't want to have to take my entire nursery for a one week stay. I had heard about the companies that rent out baby equipment for those who travel. I searched for the ones in San Diego and was stand offish about this company since it wasn't rated and was fairly new. I am so glad I took a chance on them!!! Babies on vacation seemed much more honest and caring. The prices were way cheaper and the inventory items were up my alley ;) love britax. The fact that they clean and sanitize the way they do made me feel so secure knowing my daughter wouldn't be in contact with previously used items that may or may not have had bacteria. Last thing I wanted from my trip was a sick baby. Regina was so helpful and had all the items I needed. I would definitely recommend them. We were in SD for a family vacation with our 3 boys. We needed a couple of car seats, stroller & crib. Everything was brought to the car rental on time and in good condition. We initially thought we were getting a van but got a sedan Instead so the crib didn't fit in our vehicle. They were able to transport it to our condo and had it set up for us. On departure day, they came on time to grab the crib and met us at the car rental for the car seats. She was very responsive to our questions and had some good recommendations. We definitely will use them again and have no problems providing our referral. We have rented many times through various baby rentals (SD, Hawaii, Vancouver) and this experience has been the best for us. read more

We had family visiting from Berkeley and the 2 year old needed a crib, not a pack in play to sleep in for a week. BABIES ON VACATION was fantastic from the moment I ordered on line, to switching dates, to asking questions, and to delivery and pick up. The price was more than reasonable. The crib seemed new, had safety guards on top rail, had a spotlessly clean and firm mattress, and sheets and mattress pads washed in Ecos free and clear detergent. I was so pleased. Traveling to San Diego for the holiday with my 8 month twin boys; I was staying at a families house but wanted them to sleep comfortably in cribs so I rented 2 half cribs and a double stroller. The company was very considerate of my time with delivery drop off and pick up; the items we're almost brand new and the stroller was Lightweight and collapsible so we could travel easily with it. Traveling from the east coast to west is not very easy with babies but when there is a comfortable place to sleep and nap it made our travel time much more enjoyable.... if we're ever in town we will use again... thank you very much!!! read more

I have rented baby equipment many times on various vacations and these guys are the BEST! I shopped around and went with them because they had the best pricing I could find and had the items I needed. Due to travel hiccups out of our control pickup and dropoff wasn't as straight forward as it should have been but they were so understanding and accommodating, could not have been nicer. All the gear worked great and seemed brand new, we liked the Joovy double stroller so much I'm planning to get one for at home.
