Bubble Tea menu (as of 1/9/26)
Kimberly S.

It is nice to have another lunch option in the area. A cozy dumping, noodle and boba tea shop with a handful of bench seats inside. (During the a warmer months there will be seating outside.) The hand made dumplings were fresh, flavorful and seemed as though they were made to order, which would explain the wait time. Will definitely return soon.

Chili oil wontons and pork and chive dumplings
Phoebe D.

Convenient new spot for dumplings converted from a boba shop in Downtown DC. I tried the combo with pork and chive dumplings and hot and sour soup, along with the chili oil wontons. The dumplings were decent but a little small. I liked that the hot and sour soup had a decent amount of tofu, bamboo, etc and was not just broth, and the taste was pretty good, however it was a bit thin and also was surprisingly super spicy. I was a little disappointed in the chili oil wontons as I found them to be pretty flavorless. The chili oil in particular could have had more flavor but instead was pretty much just oil. Nice place to grab a quick bite if you work nearby but otherwise I think there are better dumpling options in DC.

Combo Tiger Signature Dumplings(8)

Excellent dumplings served in a small and chaotic environment. Tiger Dumplings has a delicious and affordable dumplings combo: I got the tiger dumplings (steamed, with pork belly, baby shrimp, asian chives, ginger, scallion,) with miso soup and a side of rice for $12.95. Little Tiger Dumplings provides quick and kind service, although the downtown location is too small to accommodate the lunch rush making the dining in experience overstimulating. You also order with a QR code or on a machine, which I don't love. Definitely recommend ordering ahead and to-go!

Spotted this place on the way to capitol One, went in and a few people were waiting with only one worker, I needed to pay cash so I had to wait a bit for them to get to me which wasnt very long at all, I ordered the dumpling combo which was 8 dumplings, I chose the shrimp and celery dumpling and a choice of two sides, I chose white rice and miso soup. first thought the dumplings were a bit on the salty side which I expected due to the shrimp being labeled "'south american shrimp" making me think of Argentinian red shrimp, but upon adding some soy sauce and chili oil the flavors were well balanced, the white rice sprinkled with a light furikake esque seasoning was tasty and the miso soup perfectly salty and delicious! The kimchi provided a nice pop of acidity and was quite fresh, well prepared! The space is small and does offer some seats to eat it there but if youre not a fan of cozier and more intimate spaces id recommend taking your meal to go! would comeback to try other items!

Mecha is by far my new favorite ramen spot! I can't believe I haven't done a review already…read more First things first, you have to get the edamame. This is the most uniquely prepared edamame I've ever had. It's packed with herbs and spices and so flavorful that you won't go back to regular edamame after trying it here. I've ordered quite a few items off the menu, and I've been equally satisfied every time. I've had the Pho Ga and the Shoyu Paitan...both were so delicious. They come with extras so you can customize your bowl with hoisin, chili flakes, and more, which I love. One time I went with a friend who's pescatarian, and we ordered the Cha Ca La Bong (catfish). It was incredibly flavorful and filling. It's served cold, a delicious sauce. But don't let this cold dish fool you ...it does not disappoint. We also ordered the General Tso shrimp, and I got the sweet-and-sour spareribs. Everything was delicious. As for drinks, I don't quite remember which frozen one I ordered, but it didn't give much of a buzz. The regular alcoholic drinks, though? They definitely got the job done. Every time I've gone, the service has been excellent. Everyone is welcoming, smiling, and genuinely seems proud to serve you. I also appreciate that if you don't finish your ramen, they box it up thoughtfully, packing the broth and noodles separately so it stays fresh. Highly recommend!

Mecha Noodle Bar was pretty good. I visited on a Thursday at 6 PM and it was about 1/3 full…read more The place is very casual. Many of the tables have benches on one side and small stool on the other; it's fine, but not the most comfy. Tables are also loaded with the basic chopsticks, napkins, menus, and condiments you need. We tried the Kale Salad, Red Oil Dumplings, Firecracker Wings, Spicy Miso 2.0 ramen, and Tonkotsu 3.0 ramen. The kale salad was fine but a little lame. The wings weren't "firecracker" -- not spicy at all -- but had a very nice dry rub and smoky flavor (very similar to the wings at Succotash). The dumplings were enormous and pretty good, but I wish the sauce stuck to the dumplings better. Ramen was also good; I preferred the Spicy Miso over the Tonkotsu. Service was a little too basic. We had to flag down a waiter to get water, water wasn't refilled, the check and pay pad weren't picked up quickly, and I got the wrong ramen order.

I really enjoyed my experience at Toki Underground!…read more Toke Underground a small bar and restaurant in the H st corridor which seems to be most well known for its ramen offerings. We got there nice and early on a Friday to enjoy the happy hour which is available from 4-6 on weekdays. As a part of happy hour they had several cocktails and small bites for $10 or less. I had the pumpkin spice spritz and an order of the fried chicken bites - both were really really good. I'd order both items again. For awareness, they limit dining in to about an hour and a half - because the restaurant is fairly small, they want folks to make their seats available for other guests pretty quickly. They weren't rude about enforcing this time limit, but they definitely tell you up front and quickly gather your orders/plates to help move you though the meal quickly. This is a nice date spot - it's coziness would make for the perfect ambiance in you're looking to grab a bite with that special someone. Pro tip: Be careful not to walk past it! The signage outside isn't the best, so it's very easy to miss the door completely (as I did).

Servers are very attentive and come by very often. Must Try: Shrimp Naruto Atmosphere/Setting: very small place with dim lighting. This isn't the place to have your birthday celebration with a Partiful of 20 people. It's moreso catching up with a friend or having a good meal after a long day alone. Food: it's a ramen spot but honestly I've had better ramen but this one is pretty good. I think the appetizers are moreso the star of the show ! Appetizers : Shrimp Naruto (10/10) , Brussels Okonomiyaki (8/10) , Yuzu Rootbeer Wings (6/10) Shrimp Naruto is phenomenal , literally my favorite. I wanted to like to e wings but they were too soft for my liking. If they were fried harder or had a bit more of a crunch I'd rank them higher because the flavor is there. Drinks: both drinks were great !
