I called them on 4/9/2024 as a new patient to come in because I was sick. They are 30 minutes from me. My appt. would be on 4/11/2024. The person who took my information said I would need to come in, in person, on 4/10 to fill out their new patient paperwork at the office, and then hand it in to them. Then return the following day for my appt. There was no possible way they could send me new patient paperwork since they have no secure email, or I could come in an hour and a half early for my appointment on the day of. I don't know what world these people live in, but it is not one where new patients are treated with any respect. The only way I would go to this place would be unconscious, feet first. read more

May 24, 2023 Dr. Sarah Wolf wanted to see me again after I had an MRI to discuss the results. After my MRI I called the office six times within a week to make an appointment. All six times I was put on hold and listened to "elevator music" and then it switched to voice mail, which I had opted out of at the beginning of all my calls. I did, however, leave a voice mail each time and that I wanted to make an appointment with Dr. Wolf and asked if they would they please return my call ASAP. NO ONE called me to set up an appointment. After a full week I went to the office to make an appointment with Dr. Wolf. When I told them NO ONE had returned any of my six calls, all they said was that they were busy and were in transition. The one women, who I assumed was a "supervisor," stood over the receptionist's back with her arms folded over her own chest, as if to intimidate me, and asked if I heard what the receptionist had said. She was of no help and was very rude! I was finally able to make an appointment for the middle of August. - three months later! So much for Dr. Wolf wanting to see me right after my MRI! I told them the results of my MRI were not good and that I could be dead by then. They didn't seem to be concerned at all. I have been going to LTPC since 2001 and have never been treated in this manner before. If I didn't like Dr. Wolf so much, I would find a new clinic. The "supervisor" should be fired for being so unprofessional. She could have answered at least three voicemails while standing guard over the receptionist! read more

After a visit to McLaren ER, I received a phone call from Dr Wolf's office to "check in" with me. I scheduled an appointment -and got an appointment on Monday after having been in the ER on Saturday. Dr. Wolf had my ER report and had reviewed it and was up to date on what had gone on over the weekend. She spent as much time with me as was necessary to review the ER incident and also to ensure I had the referral to a specialist Her staff also was great in taking down the information o presented and copying reports Dr. Wolf and her staff provides excellent care. read more

This practice used to be excellent, and I loved my provider. However, since it has dropped its affiliation with McLaren and has been purchased by Munson, it has gone downhill rapidly. I have not been able to get an appointment for months. Most of time I haven't been able to talk to a person when I've called for an appointment, but have had to leave voice messages which are never returned. On the rare occasion when I've actually been able to talk to a person, I've been told that I couldn't have an appointment as they were booked. Period. I'm in the process of moving to another practice and need to have records transferred. In spite of telling me that they would get right on it, nothing has been done. I can't recommend this practice. At one time I really liked Dr. Sarah Woiderski-Wolf. But her Biller wasn't billing the correct procedure codes for my visits. Instead of Dr. Wolf investigating it, she made the decision to drop me as a patient in the middle of the Covid epidemic and me with a history of breast cancer. I thought it was extremely unethical and not anything I would expect from a doctor. Today I happened to find Walgreen's not so busy, so I pulled in for my second pneumonia shot. They said I needed to call the doctor who gave me the first one and ask what type of pneumonia shot they gave me. So, I called Dr. Sarah Woiderski-Wolf's office and explained what information I needed from my medical chart. They put me on hold for a very long time. Finally, someone from her staff named Amber, said she couldn't give me my medical information as my chart is flagged that I am no longer Dr. Wolf's patient; if I want to know what shot was administered at their office, I will need to call whatever doctor I am seeing now. Unbelievable! And these people are suppose to be professionals. read more

Rob was in charge of making special arrangements to have my wife tested for Covid on 10/14/2021, and when we showed up, on time, an associate tested 2 people that arrived after us, and never tested my wife. After talking to Rob on the phone, he stated that he saw us arrive and leave, and also had the nerve to tell me that sometimes things don't work out (I had to get my very ill wife out of bed and take her on a 40 minute drive to get her there). I couldn't believe it. We have requested a patient release form, as they will no longer be receiving our business. As a medically retired U.S. Army Veteran that has dealt with many medical facilities, I can say that Little Traverse Primary Care is the most incompetent facility we have dealt with. Highly recommend seeking care elsewhere. *The following day, we ended up going to Walgreens to have her tested, and today we got the positive test result. read more

These people are nutty. In order to become a patient, one must fill out a paper form with name, address, and insurance information. Yes, a paper form. I sent mine in last August, and have TWICE been "refused" by a provider. The rude phone receptionist would not share with me why I was refused ("we're not required to tell you that by law") or whether even the practice was full. I have good insurance, and several of their doctors are in-network wiI think it's discrimination of some kind--but it surely is not quality medical care. (This kind of refusal is also in breach of their contract with my health insurer.) read more

I used to really be happy with this practice, they were kind, not too long of wait times, good listening skills. However over the past two years their attitudes have shifted, to seeing as many patients as possible without taking the time to ensure they are fully cared for. I went to fill birth control, doctor informs me it has been some time since my last pap, she will fill two months worth but to come back and schedule one. Two days later call office to schedule the exam and they inform me that I cant get in for a physical for eight months that my doctor and every othet doctor in the practice is booked up for physicals. They need to either get more doctors, have more slots for physicals, or take fewer patients. That is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I really like it here. Yes the wait can be pretty long, but it's a busy office. I really appreciate all the time spent caring for my problems when they arise, and the extra steps taken for testing as I always think the worst.. it's great to have a better piece of mind. I would rather have an overly concerned doctor than one who isn't concerned enough. read more

Posting this review for my elderly mother who cannot. This entire office is completely incompetent! She has complained about this office and her NP Kim for years. They fail to obtain any referral to a specialist without aggressive oversight and assistance, I.E. needing to call the specialist and this officer to personally make things happen. This has happened multiple times for the simplest requests. My mother has dealt with rude and shaming comments from Dr. Jankowski. Recently my mother suffered a painful sinus infection and needed to be seen after keeping it to herself for 6 weeks. When requesting care at this "clinic" she was turned away, stating that she had covid-19 symptoms and they "cannot see patients who are sick." What kind of primary care clinic only sees healthy patients?? I will say they did offer her a virtual appointment but we declined as my mother needed to be seen by someone who could get hands on. In the end she seen urgent care who had no problems seeing a patient with a sinus infection. Just when I thought the madness was over, my mother needed another referral to a radiologist at Mclaren. They managed to screw this up also, and we're still waiting several weeks later for the referral to get to Mclaren to make an appointment. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this entire clinic! read more

Leaving this practice after 4 years. Started with one of the physicians who was OK, but I got shuffled out to a nurse practitioner without ever consulting me. From there, everything went downhill. Simple requests always became a big deal, requiring lab tests, specialist referrals, etc. before any attempt to treat a simple complaint. Requests such as get my breast ultrasound results before I leave the country for 2 weeks could not be accommodated. All communications were through low-paid intermediaries. I'm 71, have a complicated medical history and know my own body very well. I don't have time for this in a primary care practice. read more

I've been a client here for years, but it's time for a change. I was very upset, and yes, angry, when my provider refused to phone in a Rx for me for a UTI. (I am an RN and this used to be a common professional courtesy). She literally could not be bothered to give me the time of day. Instead she had her assistant call me, who clearly needs some lessons in how to deal with angry clients. Her comments were condescending, dismissive and ageist. It sounds like these people are just too busy to care about their customers anymore. I can do better than this...anyone can. I went to the Quick care in Petoskey and was treated much better there. Will be looking for a new provider. read more

Don't go here!! The doctor here was incompetent in the treatment of my shoulder injury. She never made a diagnosis, insisted that I try a chiropractor or her friend's physical therapy business when my condition worsened after trying two different PT's,failed to refer me to a specialist because there were none in the Mclaren sytem, and failed to take responsibility for her mistakes. This went on for nearly 5 months before I found a specialist in Traverse City. As my pain worsened I asked her for pain relief beyond Tylenol at which point she lied and said the law prohibited her from prescribing hydrocodone. A month later when she acknowledged that she could prescribe hydrocodone, she prescribed an inadequate dosage. She discounted my report of extreme pain, showed no concern for my lack of sleep and declining quality of life, and appeared unaware of how long she had been the primary care doctor for this injury. read more
