They would not honor a gift certificate that did not have a written expiration date anywhere on it…read more(despite their being a place for it) after a year. They said their certificates expire a year after being issued but that was never mentioned when it was purchased and they failed to write it on the certificate itself. They should take accountability for their employee not writing an expiration date and honor the certificate as is. Now they just get to keep the money. It's despicable and frankly, illegal. Don't give them your money. Utah Code Ann. §13-11-4(2)(v) Makes it a violation of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act to issue a gift certificate that has an expiration date without disclosing the expiration date on the gift certificate or its packaging. They then wanted to charge an extra $120.00 to cancel. I won't be going back to Massage Lux in South Jordan
