After I checked in at the desk, it was a matter of just a few minutes, and I was escorted to a consultation room. A very nice nurse came in and took my stats and asked me some probing questions about why I was there, and what my expectations were. She was so nice, and informative and said the Dr would be in shortly to talk to me about pros and cons of the surgery I was think of having. Dr Rueben came in and examined me. We had a nice chat about what the surgery would entail, and the pros and cons. I didn't fill rushed, and he answered my questions in depth. The nurse came back in with two price options. I could go home and think about it, or I could book surgery now, since he is booked several months out. There is a $500 deposit to book a date. I decided to think about scheduling a date right now since this is an elective surgery, and it needs to be paid in full before any surgery will be performed.

I was starting to notice wrinkles in my forehead that I wanted to do something preventative for. Masha helped me decide between Botox and Dysport and she took a lot of care and time in talking to me and then mapping out where to give me just the smallest, most natural-looking injections to help my wrinkles relax yet still allow me to look like myself. The results were almost flawless. She is really masterful at what she does, and she has the most gorgeous skin and nicest disposition to boot. I couldn't recommend Masha or 22 Spa MD more highly. What a find in SLC!

In my appointment, the assistant obtained the history and then left the room and talked quite loudly to relay my information inhealth history to the provider in an open workspace with multiple desks and staff. That wasn't awesome as health information is protected and on a need-to-know basis, and so the open area exchange of info seems not in line with expectations. Then there were supposed to be orders sent for secondary diagnostic testing. There was a 3 week delay in the orders for this being sent/received. I then went to research the order status and found that my insurance didn't seem to require the secondary diagnostic test (and therefore wouldn't cover it.) I tried to discuss this with the provider but this was quickly dismissed. I then made a lot of calls to finally ensure the paperwork was submitted successfully (another several weeks and honestly not my job) only to hear that my insurance had denied the secondary testing. That was mid-July and the office/provider has yet to contact me to discuss (it's now mid-Aug.) This just isn't the experience I expected and I can't recommend this practice.

Honest Review: Please Think Twice Before Spending Thousands at…read more East West Health I'm writing this to help others avoid making the same costly mistake I did. I spent thousands of dollars at East West Health (also known as Integrated Pain Specialists or Ageless Future ) in Midvale, Utah. They promote peptide therapies and other treatments as ways to boost metabolism, enhance health and fitness, improve appearance, increase confidence and energy, elevate emotional well-being, provide a sense of purpose, and slow the aging process. However, I did not experience any significant results. I believed their promises. They're convincing--experts at selling hope wrapped in science. But here's what I found out the hard way: The Truth About the Peptides They Sell: Not FDA-approved. Legally questionable -- many are listed on the FDA's "Do Not Compound" list. Lacking credible research -- very few high-quality human trials support their effectiveness. Extremely expensive -- you're spending thousands on substances that aren't properly regulated. Ineffective -- in my case, they made no noticeable difference They market it all as "cutting-edge regenerative medicine," but I found little legitimate science behind their protocols. After months of closely following their peptide regimens--BPC-157, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, Epitalon, and others--I noticed almost no improvement in energy, mental clarity, or overall well-being. What Actually Helped Me: Since walking away from East West Health, I've turned to evidence-based supplements and nutrition--and I finally started to feel real progress. Best of all, it didn't cost thousands, and everything I use is legal, researched, and accessible. What Actually Made a Difference for Me: Metabolism & Weight: Berberine, green tea extract, and inositol Longevity & Brain Health: NMN, CoQ10, and Lion's Mane mushroom Inflammation & Recovery: Collagen, curcumin, and omega-3s Are these miracle cures? No. But they're safe, backed by solid research, and I genuinely started feeling better--without needles, hype, or legal gray areas. Final Thought: Do your homework. Ask tough questions. Don't be dazzled by promises. I wish I had known earlier that most peptides are experimental at best--and at worst, a waste of money or a legal risk. If you're trying to improve your health, start with the basics: nutrition, stress reduction, movement, and targeted supplements that have real research behind them. Please think twice before spending your hard-earned money at East West Health. Protect your wallet--and your health.

Regret Choosing Vincent Surgical Arts for Breast Augmentation - Poor Outcome and Follow-Up Care…read more I want to share my experience with Vincent Surgical Arts in hopes that it helps others make a more informed decision when choosing a plastic surgeon over a cosmetic surgeon for breast augmentation. After my surgery, I was immediately unhappy with how my breasts looked and I expressed this directly to the surgeon. I was told to wear a super supportive or push-up bra from both the surgeon and also his nurse to achieve the look I had asked for. That suggestion felt incredibly dismissive--especially after paying so much money for a procedure meant to enhance my body, not one that would require masking the results with a push-up bra. Around four weeks post-op, I noticed stitches poking through the underside of my breasts, which was both painful and alarming. When I went in, the staff pulled the stitch tight and clipped it at the skin, while the remainder was still internal. This didn't instill much confidence in the quality of the surgical aftercare Unfortunately, things only deteriorated from there. At about eight months post-op, I noticed that my incision had risen up onto the actual breast tissue, and the implant had dropped below the incision line. I called to schedule a follow-up and was told the soonest available appointment was five weeks out--despite them actively scheduling new patient consultations and surgeries during that time. As a patient dealing with visible complications and who had already expressed dissatisfaction multiple times, I felt completely deprioritized . By this point, my left breast had completely bottomed out. At nine months post-op, I had my results evaluated by a different board-certified plastic surgeon, who confirmed that the implants had both what was defined as bottomed out, and that if left uncorrected, they would eventually cause my nipples to be exposed, pointing up, even in something as basic as a bikini top. The implants had also migrated laterally, pushing toward my armpits, creating an unnatural and distorted appearance. Completely flat appearing, and no upper pull boob job look at this time. Ultimately, at 10 months post-op, I had to undergo complete reconstructive surgery with another surgeon to correct the issues. This has been an emotional and financial burden that I never anticipated, and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. In my experience, Vincent Surgical Arts failed to provide adequate post-operative care, dismissed serious concerns, and demonstrated poor responsiveness when complications arose. I was never offered any reimbursement, nor did I feel that patient satisfaction was a priority once the surgery was complete. If you're considering surgery here, I strongly recommend getting multiple consultations and being very cautious--especially regarding aftercare support and revision policies. I wish I had done more research before choosing this clinic.
