So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. She chatted with me and got to know more about my life which made me feel a lot better about getting waxed again. It had been awhile. I let her know and she was patient with me through the whole process. Now be forewarned! Maggie's technique was different than the other esthetician I went to before. The aesthetician Kayla is amazing! Going in I was slightly concerned with how my skin would respond to the facial since I'm currently using topical creams, but Kayla assured me I would be good. She is all about great conversation and you don't even feel the time go by! I started with my upper lip- the laser was a little spicy but it's ten million times better now that they have this cooling machine available. I'm now getting my legs laser'd and it's totally worth it! I have dark thick hairs so even shaving you could see the black dots waiting to grow lol. So glad to be getting rid of that! Note: laser doesn't not hurt (especially as you go higher in the laser number) but this new cooling thing is awesome and you feel waaaaaay less pain! Def recommend for hair reduction. It's more expensive but worth it for sure because you get lifetime appointments.
