I started at the Medifast center in Rochester after realizing I needed a little more help shedding some extra pounds than I was able to achieve on my own. I have been always felt encouraged, empowered and like I had a team of cheerleaders on my side who were there to help when I needed! They never made me feel discouraged, they weren't pushy or judgmental. Everyone has different needs and they are able to be on my side to help with mine. Give them your money........FAST. That was the impression we got from our consultant who looked like she never counted a calorie her whole life. I cannot imagine how this place could ever inspire anyone to lose weight and it is expensive. Year contract: $48 month for 15 minute "counselling" sessions ($16 a week) plus $85.00 a week for their food (do the meals for 3 months all except dinner) plus $55.00 for supplements she adamently stressed we NEEDED. This is a whopping total of $2500.00. Upfront cost was $1100.00 but if we paid THAT DAY they deduct $100.00. We declined and my friend who was with me said the woman made the meanest face.
