I had a consultation with Ms. Ariel, which was scheduled a month in advance. When booking the appointment, I provided a detailed description of my situation and even attached relevant documents via email. She simply responded by asking me to schedule the consultation, which I did. However, when we met, she openly admitted that she had not read any of the documents beforehand and she will fast scan while listening what I say. Within just a few minutes, she dismissed my request to reopen my case without asking me more questions. I felt deceived--if she was going to reject my case so quickly, why ask me to book a full consultation in the first place? Just to take money? Charging $250 for a one-hour consultation while coming unprepared and making a decision within minutes feels unfair and unprofessional. If my case was something she could easily decline like that, she should have been upfront instead of having me pay for a meeting because I said exactly what I wrote in the email so the reason she asked me to make consultation sounded like she wanted easy money. The interaction felt cold and transactional rather than professional and respectful. If you're looking for an attorney who takes the time to understand your case and comes to meeting with respect, I would recommend finding someone else. read more

I do not recommend this law firm. As another former client mentioned, an attorney left abruptly without much notice, leaving clients in the lurch. I was told Ariel Baniowski would represent me. Firm Manager Becky Seablom assured me the transition would go smoothly. It took over two weeks for the firm to assign the new attorney. Although the firm did provide a consultation, Baniowski was ill-prepared. She was late to the office. She had not familiarized herself with the case and had not read documents. She did not even have a copy. I provided it. She dismissed previous efforts. She became condescending and passive-aggressive. Her antics would be laughable if there weren't so much at stake. Livesay & Myers refused my request for another attorney. No one returned my first call to Becky Seablom. Operations Manager Taryn ArpIt offered assistance but did not call me back. Despite having 24 attorneys across five locations (per their website), Baniowski said no other attorney is available. That decision likely came from partners James Livesay and Kevin Myers. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this firm at all costs. read more
