Terrible, terrible, terrible experience…read more My friends and I wanted to celebrate our birthdays with all of our friends and what better way than with a party bus to go bar hopping on? Except ours didn't make it past the first bar. It started out by showing up late, there was no heat, and a belt fell off which led to us having to head back to the drop off destination 5 hours early. Do they even do inspections before taking them out? The bus driver said we did not really have a choice. We either stay at the first bar we arrived at until we were ready to go back, or go back right away. The bus would not make it all night. Then, a few minutes later, we had no choice at all and had to go back immediately. After some of our friends drove 3-4 hours away to be on this bus with us, Night Moves could not get us another bus that night and didn't even know if they could even refund us back our money. Oh, and once we got back safe and sound where we started, the bus caught on fire somewhere down the road trying to make it back to Effingham. The bus shouldn't have left their freaking parking lot to begin with. Fast-forward a couple days later, my friend who put the deposit on the bus down called the company to see if we could get our money back. She said they were ridiculously rude, said they couldn't give any money back, and to take ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR BROKE DOWN BUSES THE NEXT WEEKEND. HA. No thanks. Eventually my friend got it to where she got all the money back except for her deposit. Which, I'm glad we got some money back, but it should've been all. It didn't make it anywhere without having issues. To sum up this very long review, I, 10 out of 10 recommend that absolutely no one should use Night Moves out of Effingham for their limo or party bus services. That is all.

Same-Day Cancellation - No Refund After Multiple Attempts…read more I had a reservation with Once Upon a Party Bus LLC for January 10, 2026. In the week leading up to the event, I made multiple attempts to confirm details and received no response. Then, just a few hours before the scheduled pickup on the day of the event, I was informed they would not "be able to make it." This left me scrambling to arrange transportation for 20 people with almost no notice. I was forced to book another company at a higher cost, resulting in a significant additional out-of-pocket expense. I requested: * A refund of my $100 deposit After receiving no response, I followed up multiple times - still no response. The company posted on Facebook that the business had closed and that refunds would be issued within 10-15 business days after January 12. That timeframe has now passed. I followed up again on February 2 requesting a concrete update and received no response. I also attempted to request the refund via Cash App but was unable to process the request. As of today, I have not received any refund or communication. The same-day cancellation and the failure to issue promised refunds or respond to repeated professional outreach are extremely concerning. If anyone has additional contact information for the owners or insight into how refunds are being handled, I would appreciate the information.

I spoke with Hope here, who was super nice and answered all my questions. Between the customer service she provided and the pricing, I decided to go with them, and I'm super glad I did! The bus is absolutely awesome. Lots of room, cool lighting, and it even has a bar with space for drinks. Our driver Ron was super fun and accommodating. He even recommended a couple of places to go around where we were. Such a great experience with this company. Will definitely use them when I need a party bus again!
