To start off everything seemed fine, I even got a discount for getting two buses with them. However, for my wife's bachelorette party, she said she wanted a bus with specific features and we reserved that particular bus. She said that the bus they got was not the bus they ordered, and no one said anything to her. Since it was not a major deal, we put it past us and decided to give them another chance. We ordered a top of the line bus to transport our wedding party from the wedding ceremony to the reception. An hour before the wedding, I got a call from the owner who stated that the bus we ordered was not working due to the cold weather, but he would see what he could do for us. After the wedding, we come out to a bus that was a glorified school bus with awful speakers and uncomfortable seating. Don't worry, we still had plenty of fun and we did not let it ruin our big day, but we had already paid the "discounted amount" that we were told we got due to ordering two buses. However, we paid the amount we were to for the top of the line bus. I did not say anything to the driver because I was not going to get into an argument with him on our big day. The following Monday, I waited until the afternoon to give him a chance to call me and rectify the situation. When no call arrived, I decided to call him. He answered and said I was on his list of things to take care of today and he would give me a call back when he had the numbers in front of him. One week later I had still not received a call. Frustrated, I attempted to call him two different times, but was sent directly to the answering machine, so I then decided to text him. I informed him of the numbers we had looked at based on his website prices and what we paid for verses what we got. I was nothing but polite, but did inform him that we were not happy as customers with this whole situation, especially the waiting. He called back later, but I was busy on the phone with someone else. He left a voicemail and I did not dignify calling him back. In short on the voicemail he told me I was in the wrong for wanting money back, but said he would be nice and offer a fraction of what we had figured. The whole point of this was not for us to get money back, it was the point that we as consumers deserve a degree of respect, and that as a business, one would think, would strive to keep their consumers happy. Changing the paid for bus the day of the wedding for a cheap "working" substitute is one thing, but not calling afterward to apologize or see what he could do to make things right is another. Even further, to leave me a voicemail telling me I am in the wrong a week after you promised to call me back sent me over the top and is the reason, I am writing this review. 0/5, do not recommend Livin' It Up transportation and if you do, I would make sure the day of you have the right bus and do not think they will fix it later.

Same-Day Cancellation - No Refund After Multiple Attempts…read more I had a reservation with Once Upon a Party Bus LLC for January 10, 2026. In the week leading up to the event, I made multiple attempts to confirm details and received no response. Then, just a few hours before the scheduled pickup on the day of the event, I was informed they would not "be able to make it." This left me scrambling to arrange transportation for 20 people with almost no notice. I was forced to book another company at a higher cost, resulting in a significant additional out-of-pocket expense. I requested: * A refund of my $100 deposit After receiving no response, I followed up multiple times - still no response. The company posted on Facebook that the business had closed and that refunds would be issued within 10-15 business days after January 12. That timeframe has now passed. I followed up again on February 2 requesting a concrete update and received no response. I also attempted to request the refund via Cash App but was unable to process the request. As of today, I have not received any refund or communication. The same-day cancellation and the failure to issue promised refunds or respond to repeated professional outreach are extremely concerning. If anyone has additional contact information for the owners or insight into how refunds are being handled, I would appreciate the information.

I spoke with Hope here, who was super nice and answered all my questions. Between the customer service she provided and the pricing, I decided to go with them, and I'm super glad I did! The bus is absolutely awesome. Lots of room, cool lighting, and it even has a bar with space for drinks. Our driver Ron was super fun and accommodating. He even recommended a couple of places to go around where we were. Such a great experience with this company. Will definitely use them when I need a party bus again!
