Steve took one look at it and saw what I saw - the truck still had enormous value. He found a low mileage replacement engine. He didn't stop there. He fixed several worn parts on the front steering. He fixed a muffler hanger. He rotated the tires and replaced a rusted bracket on the rear butterfly spring - just because it needed to be done! I brought him a truck that I was told was scrap!?@&$/. He gave me back a truck in better condition than when I bought it 16 years ago!! He's everything you want in a mechanic: knowledge, CARES, trustworthy, and takes pride in making it right. The bill came up right on the estimate (plus the unforeseen needed repairs). I'll always call Merrill first. If you still aren't convinced, let him be your second opinion... he saved my truck for less than I could by another used.

I'm from Fresno, TX and had issues with my 5.5Kw Onan Gas Generator not running properly in my toy…read morehauler. It would run anywhere from 30 seconds to sometimes maybe 20 minutes and stop. Sometimes it wouldn't even restart. Anyhow, I had made up my mind to get it repaired when I was in Elkhart, IN after finishing up with my MorRyde maintenance visit. I googled Onan generator repair shops near me and these guys showed up. They were highly rated! I contacted Luis Arias and they were able to look at my unit on 7/17/26. He diagnosed the problem immediately, repairs were completed and I was gone within one hour and 20 minutes at the most. My controller board was bad and had to be replaced. He also installed a relay which would allow my generator to work with an aftermarket fuel pump in case I couldn't find an OEM pump. The repair costs was more than fair. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and know just what to look for! Now my generator runs like a champ! It's runs much smoother and quieter. I would highly recommend this company if you're in the Elkhart area and having issues with your on-board generator. They stay busy but he worked me in since I was so far from home. Top notch company! You won't be disappointed.

Within a short period of time the two gentlemen from RV Rescue were able to get our steps retracted in order for us to drive the RV. We had an 8 hour trip ahead of us. Contacted Indiana Diesel as they advertise getting you back on the road and they sent a mobile mechanic out the following day. The diagnose was a failed torque converter. They recommended that as they were going to have to pull the transmission that we rebuild it at the same time as it had 170,000 towing miles on it. We concurred. They did the work as promised, for the price promised, in the time frame promised. We were back on the road before anyone else could even look at the truck. We now have 1000 trouble free miles on the rebuild and highly recommend this company.

I first want to applaud the technical support team at Lippert, I encourage you to open a ticket…read morewith this team if you are having a problem with your RV that is using Lippert Components. In my case my Power Gear Levelers failed so I reached out to their support team mainly Zack and Bill we worked through the troubleshooting process they tracked our progress as I checked and verified a number of components throughout this system. It was so nice to work with a team that documented everything so when I called repeatedly over the course of a week I didn't have to start fresh each time I called. RV parts aren't cheap so I highly recommend you work with their technical support specialist verses just randomly changing parts or letting your shop or mechanic troubleshoot the issues without using this resource. In my case we found my hydraulic pump motor had failed after I verified I had the correct communications between my touchpad and control module then I found I had the correct voltage to my solenoid and once I energized the motor I had voltage at the motor but the pump motor didn't spin so I knew the DC motor had failed - I ordered the motor from Lippert and although their shipping process could use some work as well as their pricing I was able to expedite it and got it after a few days. The install was fairly straightforward and my issue was resolved once I repaired the motor - over-all a good experience...

These guys are like Unicorns: they're pure pros -- and honest, to boot. My wife took our new (to us) 2002 Travel Supreme there on her way home from Seattle from picking it up. She picked it up in Seattle, WA and began driving back to the D.C. area, where we live. Somewhere around Devil's Tower, the "new" coach developed a windshield pop-out problem for which the 2001-2008 Travel Supremes are famous (infamous). The issue is one I knew about in advance, and so I wasn't surprised and I knew what had to be done. I'd planned to deal with it here, but the way things played out that wasn't an option. Now, having dealt with Precision Painting, I'm really glad the problem cropped up when it did! After checking the RV boards online -- see http://www.irv2.com/forums/f274/cross-bracing-windshield-in-a-travel-supreme-89247-5.html -- I decided to see if we could get into Precision Painting to get the requisite x-bracing work done. I wasn't optimistic, but I thought I'd try. To my utter amazement, they got my wife in -- in August, peak RV season -- the day she arrived in Bremen. She arrived after COB, but the shop manager came back & let her in the facility to park (camp) there overnight. Then, he & his crew showed up the next morning at 5 a.m. (!) and began working to get the job done and her back on the road. They treated her like she was their own wife, sister or daughter. With courtesy, respect and like a friend in from out of town. At the end, they presented us a bill that was half what it would have cost me to get the same work done on the east coast. And, from everything I've read about them in the RV forum for Travel Supremes, I know the work is done right, because they're experts at RVs and are known to have engineered a solution to this particular problem that works. In sum, they bent over backward, they got the job done and right and they charged me the same price they'd have charged if I made an appointment way in advance even thought they squeezed us in and worked around the clock to get the job done and my wife back on the road.
