AMAZING fruit. Great people. Great education on the land and what they are about. Did I say to die for fruit?! It's a must.

A small fruit stand with a few options and quite pricey. Their fruits are a little more sweet than usual, but doesn't feel natural.

Lots of cool fruits to see how they grow and the progression through different developmental stages. Was also wonderful to be able to eat all the fruits we got to see growing at the end. Definitely changed my opinion on some fruits that I now like because I've never had them at their peak ripeness. Our guide was super nice and had good energy. I did however feel like the farm was run by a lot of very young adults or ppl that felt like they didn't have a ton of experience there yet so kinda wasn't able to answer a decent amount of questions but it's ok we still enjoyed ourselves and them.

Our guide was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, making the tour both fun and educational. One of the highlights was getting to pick a dragon fruit right off the plant and eat it in the field. It was absolutely delicious and so much fresher than what we get back home. Our guide explained it's because store-bought fruits are picked early for shipping, and you could really taste the difference. As wonderful as that was, the best part came at the end... sampling! We were given a generous plate of fresh fruit, four different teas, and even a couple of cookies. Everything was bursting with flavor and so refreshing. The farm is beautiful, the experience is one-of-a-kind, and the people make it extra special. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Maui; it's fun, educational, and absolutely delicious!

Tim, Harline and Chelsea were great hosts and told interesting stories. It was fun to see, feed, and pet the chicken and the sheep. In our group, the age ranged from 2 to over 50 years old and we all had a great time. We also got to see the sacred wili wili trees, native to Hawaii. The farm has great views of Lahaina and the ocean. It was a unique experience different and interesting and inspiring to hear the vision that Tim and Harline have to restore the Hawaiian "Garden of Eden". Highly recommend if you are looking for a break from the beach and want to hear how you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, a philosophy the Tim and Harline believe in.

Once you get over the sheer beauty of this farms location in launiupoko, which overlooks the Hawaiian waters, you realize you found a real gem. Lahaina family farms covers 69 acres, many of it is yet to be farmed and the goal here is to balance land preservation, organic farming, and education. Everyone has a skill that can be resourceful to this farm for the education is beyond just organic farming. It is Tim's collective decision to change the directions of all Of our lives by responsible land ownership. The farm also has one of the largest gathering of a certain Hawaiian tree that carries a long standing folklore. My limited research tells me that the wood of this tree, similar to balsa wood, was once used by Hawaiian royalty to carve surf boards. Tim's ties with the wwoofers, a world wide organization, provides young people the opportunity to contribute their skills to help themselves, others as well as the farm vision. This gives them a truly great experience on the farm, not to mention the amazing opportunity to be on the beautiful island of Maui. I'm told visitors are welcomed with love and appreciation. Tim and his family ask for nothing in return other than a few hours a day of work and an open mind to his vision. Lahaina family farms is worth the trip and I hope everyone enjoys their visit as much as I did!!:)

Our tour guide, Brett, was fantastic--knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly passionate about organic farming and growing the most delicious fruit. The tasting experience was incredible. We sampled the most delicious papaya, mango, pomelo, mountain apples, and several other tropical fruits--many of which we had never tried before. Every bite was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. It was not only a treat for the taste buds but also very educational. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the land and the dedication it takes to grow organic produce in harmony with nature. We also took a box of fruit with us to enjoy during the rest of our trip, which kept the experience going for days afterward. If you're headed down the Road to Hana, make sure to stop here. It's more than a tour--it's an experience. We would absolutely go again!

We got to try out papaya, bilimbi, caviar lime, pomelo, sweetsop, durian and so much more! The drive was gorgeous, as always, and Nick is a fantastic guide. We took our 9 year old, and she absolutely loved it. The tour was never tedious or boring for her, and is one of the highlights of her trip. Nick packed us up with fruit to leave with, and we shared it with friends on the beach as part of Thanksgiving. What a hit! Everyone was so amazed by the variety and quality of the fruit, even nearby beach goers stopped by to ask where we got it from. I think Ono will be on the itinerary for many people in the future after that beach outing. The tour is also great for people with limited mobility since most of it is on a golf cart. If you're on a multi-generational vacation here, this is definitely something both young, old and in the middle will enjoy. Also, a review from our child, "I like Ono farms because I got to taste each and every fruit that was in season. It's better than video games. I like the fruit they send us home with. I've been eating it all day, every day since. Thank you!"
