Excellent quality. The same Yee's Orchard Hayden mangos sold here at $5.50/lb is $6.49/lb at Whole Foods as of 8/17/24. Think Hayden is the better buy. Goldenglow slightly less fibrous but both mangos bring tons of joy to consume. Grabbed the last sapodilla, amazing ripeness. Definitely my favorite fruit consumption during this trip. read more

I understand that fruit can be pricey, but charging $30 for just 4 mangoes is outrageous. I'm all for supporting local vendors, but this kind of pricing feels excessive and unfair. Save your money and support another local business instead, Yee's Orchard just isn't worth it. I wish there was an option for no stars. read more

Cherimoya! I kept coming back to buy one nearly every day I could that I was in town. One piece of fruit is $5. Keep in mind not cheap; but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Very fresh, ripe and good quality fruit here! Next time I come in town I'll be returning here! read more

Stay away. Tried to SCAM us. HORRENDOUS ACTS OF DISHONESTY. We got some of the premade food and fruit but she tried charging $8 for 2 small bananas... She doesn't follow the per pound price on the whiteboard and just up charges for whatever she feels like, rounding up massively Felt extremely disrespected here for this whole encounter. Truly horrible!!! Would not recommend due to overcharging for the (unripe) fruit. When she was pretending to "calculate" the fruit prices on her scale and calculator, she completely did an act of dishonesty. When I caught the lady overcharging a ton, she said "oh sorry that price was for the previous person." But the previous person only got 1 mango.. so there was no way there could be a mix up. Local fresh fruit in the Kihei part of Maui. Fruits are fresh and sweet. The mangoes are the juiciest fruits we have ever had. The pink guava was fragrant with a delicate sweetness. The passionfruit surprised us with its incredibly tart but fragrant taste, which I loved. The starfruit was refreshing and cleansed the palate. We enjoyed sampling various tropical fruits native to Hawaii. The prices are a little high for the mangoes at about 5.99 per pound but well worth it for the tasty experience. Cash only! read more

Mangoes are a gift from the foodie gods. It's my favorite fruit and I eat them green, ripe, with shoyu, with vinegar, with shrimp paste, with sweet sticky rice -- basically I eat them every which way. However, there is something absolutely special about Yee's Golden Glow mangoes that set them apart from the rest. Their mangoes are sweet, delicious, and simply a joy to eat. These mangoes have very little fiber, a small seed, and have really great flavor overall. It is on the pricey side compared to other varieties, but I have to say, they are worth every penny. You can find their mangoes at their fruit stand which is near their mango orchard and I've even seen them at Whole Foods sometimes. Their season generally runs from May to July, but I was able to enjoy a few as early as April. To help speed up the ripening process put them in a brown paper bag. We placed them in the fridge once they ripened beautifully and they were still good for over a week after and still tasted amazing! I would highly recommend Yee's Golden Glow mangoes for all the mango lovers out there. So yummy! read more

I have been buying mangoes from Yee's Orchard for the last 5 years, every time I come to Maui. If you like mangoes, you are wasting your time going anywhere else. Pay no attention to the negative reviews when it comes to mangoes at Yee's because they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. I am from Jamaica, I know about mangoes. We come here every year in May/June, the beginning of mangoe season in Maui and head straight to Yee's. WE have been to all the so called farmer's markets, to include upcountry farmer's markets. Stopped here for fruits, we had coconut water, banana bread, coconut candy, a mango and the mango jam. We ate everything we bought while we were there except the mango jam which I travelled home with. Let me just say that I'm from the Caribbean and the mango I ate here was the worse mango I've had in a long time. I think it was forced ripe, if you know what that means, technically green but the skin's appearance made it seem as if it was ripe. So for that reason, I was very hesitant to buy the mango jam, nevertheless I did. Let me tell you, this was the best jam I've ever had!! No strawberry, cherry nothing jam can top this. This thing was sooooo good I went searching for it on Amazon. Finished in days, Everything else was good except the mango so I'm leaving a 4.5 star (in my head). We were told golden globe mangos were the sweetest mangos they had. Hayden mangos are a little bit more tart, more small and round with red and yellowing coloring. Such a great little stand to stop by for some delicious tropical fruits! My boyfriend was craving mangos, so I searched up tropical fruits in the Yelp search bar and it lead us to Yee's stand. We were able to get two golden glow mangos & mango bread for $9.90! These were the sweetest and juiciest mangos I've ever had. They were such a treat and my boyfriend LOVED them. We asked Mr. Yee to cut the mangos for us and he did so willingly! Only reason I am taking off a star is because the selection was limited the day I went. There were lots of mangos but not a lot of everything else - no passionfruit at all on the day I went, which I was really hoping to find. But, definitely stop by for the mangos. Worst service ever. They were not interested to sell. The lady yelled when we asked for helping us with coconut meat after getting done with coconut water. On top of this they only accept cash, which is not mentioned on their board. Overrated! Lady seemed racist, too bad for Maui's tourism. Extremely disrespectful! Do not recommend at all!! We are group of 6, when asked for 6 coconuts she told they have only 4 available and when we were leaving they restocked with more coconuts. This is so disrespectful and disgusting.
