Wonderful experience each time! Very easy and quickly made my first appointment which was the first time ever for me. The therapist took time to ask plenty of questions and discussed the issues I was having. then went over the whole process so I would understand. The massage was relaxing and the therapist repeatedly asked if the pressure was to much or if i was in pain. Afterwards the therapist took time to discuss stretching and home therapy I could try to help with my issues between visits. I made a second appointment right then and will continue to use to help maintain. Highly recommend! read more

Michelle Torrez is a goddess! I have had many massages in several cities/countries, and Michelle is by far the best! Nothing fancy or opulent; just a fantastic massage that makes you feel amazing. Not only is she a great masseuse, but she is knowledgeable in essential oils, extracts, and stretches/exercises to improve ailments. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! I offer Therapeutic Massage to help ease your stress and pain. Each massage is based on the client's individual needs and conditions in a professional and relaxing atmosphere. I focus on the areas of discomfort using various relaxation, deep tissue and energy techniques combined with stretching. I assist clients with wanting to just relax their sore achy muscles and life's stresses, to those with acute or chronic pain with: neuropathy, sinus problems, sciatica, low back pain, hip and knee pain, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, rotator cuff, fibromyalgia, trigger points, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, IBS, and scar tissue restrictions. Massage also helps people with mental health issues due to grief, abuse and PTSD, the techniques I combine helps with these issues and have experience working with these clients. I do a combination of techniques including: Pregnancy, Geriatric, Swedish, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Massage and MediCupping, Myofascial, Acupressure, and Cranial Sacral.

History

Established in 2004.

January 2019 I moved back to Johnson City, TN area to open up as Living Massage and Wellness. I moved to Southern Oregon and opened up a practice in Grants Pass, OR and Cave Junction in 2016-2018. Previously I had been practicing Massage Therapy for 11.5 years throughout Johnson City and Jonesborough, TN as Heavenly Massage. I have been private practice, worked in Spas and Salons, Chiropractors offices, Senior Center and a Gym.

I practice therapeutic massage combining several modalities, customizing the massage to each client's needs.For many years I did deep/moderate tissue and medicupping. in recent years I've realized that clients can have more healing by combining less intrusive energy modalities like acupressure, cranial sacral and myofascial techniques so now I combine energy work with regular massage.
