I didn't see them. I did find the smaller metal bottles, settled for those. 3 waters and 3 Yerba Mates. Went to the check out, and there were long lines. The lady in front of me had a cart full, Uhg, this is gonna be a long wait. They lady next to me in another line, so sweet! She said I could get in front her. And I truly wanted to say yes. But i said no, it's okay. And wouldn't you know it, a cashier came up to me, said she was opening a register! KARMA, thank you Jesus! I checked out with her and the super kind lady that was going to let me in front of her followed to that register too. I mean, I had 6 items, it was going to be quick. I was so grateful. I said thank you to everyone so many times. I explained quickly what a long day I had, and they have no idea how much this meant to me. It was a simple act of kindness in their part, but it truly meant the world to me today. Had a great experience. But then again, it's Whole Foods, and I've had great service with them across the country! Thank you kindly Portland, Maine Whole Foods. I bet that's the quickest in and out I've ever done.

It's a smaller store, that feels like what you might encounter in a larger city. It was neat and clean. We encountered one staff member who "assisted" my sister and it was fine, very transactional, which is fine and again, what you might expect in a big city. Staff at the register were fast and efficient, didn't engage in too much conversation, just supportive of fruit pies I purchased. The produce selection is limited, but when I'm here I try to pick something up because I love buying local when I can. Some plusses is that Lois carries safe eggs and yogurt for me. It's the only place I've found safe eggs in the local area, so that makes me happy. On Mondays and Thursdays they usually have bread delivered from bread and friends in Portland, which is great. Wednesdays they do a senior discount. Due to the small size and selection, I usually have to go to another store to finish my shopping when I come here. But I'm happy it's here and am a consistent repeat customer.
