My first experience here was helping a friend shop for a couch and dinning room furniture and it was amazing. Every employee we encountered was nice and helpful. We shared what we were looking for and they made sure to show us all the options. What impressed me was they aren't a commission sales rep but they stayed a little over an hour past close to help my friend find the furniture she wanted which resulted in a same day purchase. Meanwhile in other stores that closed they told us to leave and come back tomorrow. Seeing first hand my friends good experience I decided to come with my wife to find a new couch for us. Every employee was very helpful. No matter where we went in the store someone wanted to help us. When we finally accepted help they answered all our questions, shared similar couches to the one we liked in different price points and respected our choice for just looking at options. My wife and I felt we found the one we wanted and slept on the idea. I went back the next day to sit on it for 30 minutes to see if this would be what I wanted at home and it was. I got all the numbers on how it would work and left with the info. I ran the numbers with my wife and it made sense to buy the couch that day. I went back 10 minutes before they closed and they thanks me for coming back and gracefully helped me place the order. I did elect to have it delivered to my house and get it installed. Considering the great service in store I expect set up to be the same. Though if it isn't I'll come back and update this review. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience here. My husband and I recently spent over $3k for a custom sectional. Per the recommendation of the two sales women who assisted us, we opted for what was supposed to be the most durable fabric offered. We are empty nesters and anticipated this would last for years. Fast forward six months after arrival, it is covered in pilling on every seat cushion, a tear in a seat cushion, and the back cushions sag because they have nothing but a bag of foam inside. No structural integrity whatsoever. Again, we have no small children and it receives minimal use. Living Spaces has no in-house customer service department and we were told to go to their website and make a claim. The sofa is still under "warranty". We submitted forms and pictures. They requested more pictures which we provided. They then told us that the only damage covered is the one cushion with a tear, which of course started with pilling. We are wondering if this will ever actually be replaced or if it's their feeble attempt to placate a very dissatisfied customer. We have never experienced this kind of shoddy workmanship or such poor customer service in all our furniture purchases over the years from other companies. BEWARE LIVING SPACES! Living Spaces delivered only half of my couch and then somehow managed to lose the other half. Not delayed--lost. For a company selling large, expensive furniture, this level of logistical failure is astonishing. What makes this worse is the customer service. After multiple contacts, I was given no clear explanation, no accountability, and--most concerning--no guarantee on when or if the missing half would be delivered. I was essentially told to wait while they "looked into it," with no timeline and no proactive follow up. Communication has been nearly nonexistent. I had to repeatedly reach out myself just to get vague, unhelpful updates. No one took ownership of the problem, and no one seemed empowered to actually resolve it. Delivering half a couch and losing the rest, combined with poor communication and zero urgency, is unacceptable. I expected far better from a company of this size. Until Living Spaces can reliably deliver complete orders and support customers when things go wrong, I cannot recommend them. read more

It also shows OPEN online, so you've got multiple idiots working here. Retail management 101, guys. Anyway, we were looking to outfit our new Utah home and loved LS in Texas, so figured this would be our 1 stop shop. Anthony came out from his hole in the back and insinuated we broke in, yelling get out of my store now in front of my wife, 3 kids, and myself...No dummy, you just aren't managing your location properly. We will be returning the dresser I already bought online and will not step foot in your door again EVER! I want this guy fired and definitely will be sharing this on every social media source. The manger Anthony has no idea what he's doing. My stuff was at the cashier desk and he had me drive around to get it. After driving around standing in the freezing rain/snow. We finally had someone in the back open the door "knocked multiple times". They did not have the order in the back. Sooo the guys working went up front Anthony told them it had already been picked up. The guys working said no that's the same stuff/order right behind you. Like how are you this clueless. I purchased the Playa 60" rectangular charcoal gray concrete outdoor firepit in May 2025. We used it 3 or 4 times that summer and by October the paint on the top had large cracks like a spider web across the whole surface. We moved the firepit into the garage for the winter. (The manual says this "Outdoor" firepit should not be in direct sunlight or left in the cold and if it gets wet it should be dried off immediately. How is this an "OUTDOOR" firepit?) When I went to get the firepit out in March 2026 the whole top surface paint was flaking off. I checked my warranty and it said it was covered for 1 year. I submitted a claim through Living Spaces, and they responded back that this was not a covered item because this was considered normal wear and tear. So, I paid $800 for a heavy outdoor firepit that is allergic to the sun, and I apparently need to bring in the house and tuck it into a warm comfy bed every night if I expect it to last a whole year. Stay away from this product and probably anything at Living Spaces as they do not stand behind their products. read more

They are a zero. You know when you go furniture shopping and you're hoping for a good experience without pushy sales people talking you into something that's not the color or style you want and doesn't even show you any other styles that fit more what you do want. Well, that's what happened to us. We went into Living Spaces in Layton to look at couches with high performance fabric noticed their Crypton fabric and really liked one of the fabrics. We were told that it came in a L shape and we could add a chaise with a length of 99in x 120in roughly. After figuring everything out that we wanted, we were told that the fabric was out of stock and the couch would be a little longer. The sales person assured us it would look fine. He didn't offer any other options at this point for couches and lead us to believe that was the only high performance fabric in their store. Not true though because I found out that there were quite a few other options when I went back to the store a few weeks later. It was the end of the day with a little over an hour before they closed on Mother's Day. We ordered it because we thought that this sales guy and Living Spaces were really trying to help us find the right couch. They just want our money. We went home and realized that the couch and dining set that we bought were not what we wanted and that we were compromising. We told the guy what we were looking for, but he didn't show us any other options. He pushed literally one of the more expensive couch options. I went back to that Living Spaces many weeks later and there were several L shaped couches, with the color and fabrics i wanted that was not available in the couch we ordered, and were high performance fabrics. The next day right when they open we tried to cancel all of it. We were able to get a full refund on the dining set, but they were going to keep 25% of the purchase for the couch since it was a special order. We didn't want to loose 25%, so we just went ahead with the order hoping the sales guy was right about it not being too big and it would look nice. Fast forward 6 weeks. Our old couch has been sold and I'm laying on the living room floor with blankets and pillows . The couch is delivered. There's a dirt mark on the couch, the fabric doesnt lay flat on the corners in several places and the sales guy was wrong the couch is too big. We open a ticket with customer service . I'm so frustrated at this point. I go down to Living Spaces because im told that maybe we might be able to exchange it, so i take a look at other options. This is when I find all these other options for couches that were not shown to us. The kicker is that these couches can be ordered in a variety of colors and textures, but are not considered special orders which means there wouldn't have been any cancellation fee. When the guy from Living Spaces cames out to "fix" the corners where it was sticking out he using a rubber hammer. I dont see any difference. We got a notification that the case has been closed today just 24 hours after he was out here. No trade or anything. Let this be a lesson that Living Spaces is a bad place to go for furniture . They just want your money and they are not willing to make things right. read more

One star here is very generous with how TERRIBLE Living spaces is. Order a single recliner July 10th. Said 3-4 weeks to ship. No big deal. WE got confirmation of delivery. Welp that date got moved 7 days. then additional 2 days. Well i decided to stop by to see if it was there (after i called the IT group because apparently the stores dont have a direct line) so after arriving they tell me that i owe 55 cents. 55 CENTS!! offered to give them that in change cause this is ridicules. After this they tell me that it has been pushed another 2 days, and to come by the 12th. Stop in the 12th at least hoping they will tell me "Truck isnt here, or hey truck will be in late come tomorrow" oh no.... They tell me it still hasnt shipped!! and during both visits and this whole process all they want me to do is Cancel the Freaking order?!?! like what? No i want my damn recliner and to NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I hope they close the doors here. MAybe turn it into something useful like costco or trader joes. I dont know, but zero direct communication besides the fact that they want me to cancel the order. Like at least tell me its out 3 weeks and have it show up 3 days later. Anyways i will pay double the money to go to RC Willey and or Ashley Furniture. Or at this point go buy fabric and refinish one from scratch. Came into the store not looking to buy a sofa, but finding THE one. Sales staff was helpful and courteous. Went home, thought about it and purchased it on the online store. Please read availability very carefully. I misread that several were available in store and more could arrive the following Saturday. Except it did say these were out of stock and the Saturday that they could be delivered was a Saturday 6 weeks in the future. So we waited. The Monday prior to the scheduled Saturday delivery, I called customer service and confirmed that the sofa would be delivered Saturday. It was confirmed. The next day we received an email saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the shipment is delayed and we shouldn't expect it until an additional 8 weeks. Customer service people were not very helpful. They didn't know what the problem was. We decided to go to the store and see if they would let us take the floor model. Again, the in-store people were very helpful and allowed us to buy the floor model as the model was discontinued. Negatives on the communication initially, it would have been helpful to know that the model we wanted was discontinued. I also understand that the retailer probably doesn't have a lot of control over the manufacturers ability to make furniture models that had been dropped. Overall, I don't think we could have been happier with the quality and appearance of the sofa. It is very substantial, the leather is beautiful, and very comfortable with zero gravity reclining and power headrests. The trade off of buying the floor model is that it is pretty heavy item and I had to pick it up and get it into the house, where the order was free shipping and delivery to the front door in three pieces. So I didn't have to assemble, but it may have made it easier to move. Pros: Great value when comparing similar features offered in other stores. Beautiful, high quality piece Helpful, considerate in-store staff The emailed instructions - what to expect, how much room you would need, installation instructions. Very good. Me again! First time we got a delivery of almost $10,000 worth of furniture and ALL of them were damaged. I had to go round and round with them to get them to come and exchange them all. So here it is, the day I get my undamaged items, right? Yeah, not a chance. These were worse than the first delivery. Waited over a month to get more damaged items. Missed work for the delivery too. I have literally been on the online chat trying to get this resolved- 3 hours and counting. They offered a 10% discount- yeah ok. Then a 20% discount to keep all the damaged items (15 of them). No, I just want you to come and get them and give me a full refund. So now I am fighting with them about how much they are supposed to refund. Of course they have a much lower amount they are seeing. Oh and get this- they expect me to pay the $99 delivery fee. Yeah, the $99 delivery fee for all those awesome damaged furniture I got. Who in the heck runs a business this way? How are you even still in business at this point. You probably will only read this if you, yourself have a complaint- to which I say... I am sorry you got swindled too. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE. The management gossips poorly about their sales staff and yell at them while trying to make a sell and expect them to make that sale while trying to hold back tears.
