I'm definitely that crazy plant lady and have been for quite a while. This shop is in downtown Lancaster just around the corner from Main St. It has giant windows in the front and street parking, which I found easily. I absolutely love their aesthetic and how they make the plants front and center. They have a ton of indoor plants and succulents and even rare plants that I can't find at a typical nursery. They also source a lot of beautiful pottery from all around Ohio. Some are even made close to my hometown of Zanesville. I love how they support other creatives. The shop manager was super informative and friendly and the owners are just as special. I'm excited to see them expanding into smaller communities and Lancaster is really lucky to have them. Go get yourself a plant! Plants are the new pets don't ya know!

I think what truly separates them is the care and consideration that they give to the plants and trees. I have a small orchard on my property of only about 40 trees and as they need replaced, I have been using trees from mile tree nursery. They use a drip system on their trees so they are constantly watered. A number of the big box stores in the area water their trees intermittently and as a result, the quality is very poor. The people are extremely friendly there and very helpful.

It's why I drove…read moreall the way from Columbus to this store and bought hundreds, more likely thousands, of dollars worth of their merchandise in past years. Today I finally got a refund and walked out angry over the poor customer service policies and/or personnel. I will not return. Maybe it's the way they handle purchases in building supplies...The problem is they DON'T handle purchases at the building supply counter. That's definitely not customer friendly. Maybe it's the dead-eyed apathy of some of the staff. Maybe it's just that I am too old to walk back and forth across that huge store three or four times just to complete a purchase and arrange a delivery while staff stand around refusing to help (even after I specifically asked for help.) I guess they don't realize who ultimately makes it possible for them to have a job...or to keep a store going. It's all about good customer service for good customers, baby...and you blew it!
