Dr. Bouwens listened to what I had to say, offered me good advice, and was genuinely concerned for my well-being. For the first time in a very, very long time I felt like I was speaking to a doctor instead of a businessman with a medical degree. He is knowledgeable, polite, kind, and helpful. After months of symptoms, I was referred out by my Dr, and in contact with the office regarding results for one week. Then I fell off the map and even upon reaching out, still didn't hear back. His bedside manner came across as dismissive and unprofessional, and I felt like I was being talked down to rather than listened to as a patient. At one point I was asked what I thought was wrong with me, which felt strange since I came in looking for medical guidance as someone who is not a healthcare professional. Because of this experience, I will NOT be returning. I seriously hope Cary receives additional training in patient communication and bedside manner in the future.

I believed it was at 9:30 a.m., but it was actually scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Rather than simply helping me reschedule, I was told I would have to pay a $50 missed appointment fee. I understand that offices have policies, but I was hoping for a little grace given the circumstances and the fact that I have been a patient for a few years. That $50 cost them a returning customer. I won't be coming back. It's unfortunate when it feels like policy and revenue are valued more than long-term patient relationships and compassion. (I hope that steak dinner was worth it... who am I kidding it's 2026, hope the McDonald's happy meal was worth it.)

I had…read moreso much tearing, scaring, and pain. 7 months postpartum came quickly and I was still having intense pain with sex and tampons. after months of pelvic floor therapy and no progress,I decided to give this place a shot and I saw Dr. Dalm. He gave me a brief exam and knew i needed surgery. We got it scheduled and two weeks later it was done. He did perineal plasty, scar revision, and muscle tuck. After a thorough assessment, she made weekly focuses on my areas of need but we worked thru each one, slowly and carefully making sure I was progressing and understanding self care. I am able to say I am walking away with a wealth of knowledge about my body and I know she gave me "toolkit" of moves to help me strengthen and recover my body from here on out. It's unfortunate new moms arent referred immediately to pelvic floor PT but I was so glad I took the steps to get to GR OBGYN. From the front desk to consistent support from Lily, the staff provides a safe, comforting and welcoming space for women. Not to mention the emotional support from Dr. Dawson, she was the person I didn't realize I needed - I'm forever grateful for our sessions.
