My father loves to go antiquing. We found this through a search online. It's located right next to the Tanger outlet mall. There were plenty of booths inside with unique items for sale. They had a very good system of processing people's goods. For example, they provide you with a number and would walk around and take items out of your hand and put them in a cubby and you go stand in line and provide the number to check out and you then realize you had all these things to buy that you didn't know cuz you weren't carrying them around. I think that was very smart. A good selling tactic. What makes a antique place special? I would say the size all of the different booths and different items for sale. Also having a good value on items, not too expensive. I walked away with a new planter and vase. read more

We had a great afternoon here at the Antique Outlet. I had not realized how close it was located to Tanger Outlet mall until a relative recently visited and recommended this place. My daughter loves to go antiquing and this was a wonderland for her. You can easily spend an hour or more here wandering around the different booths. It is located in a barn-like building which is separated into three sections. There is so much nostalgia from my childhood it is crazy! The items range from newly made through finds from another century. If you are a collector this is a great place to hunt for treasure. When you travel out East or to smaller towns you find a lot of antiquing opportunities, but you don't always find that in the suburbs. This is a perfect place to find so many diverse items. While I am not sure if you are able to bargain here and I am not an expert at pricing and value of the products, they do offer sales. There is a sale going on this week. read more

I spent about 45 minutes walking through the store, checking out the wide variety of merchandise in all the booths. I didn't buy anything, but I did see a lot of friendly employees helping customers get their larger purchases to their cars. My wife continued shopping as I made my way back to the car. I have physical limitations. While I really enjoyed looking at all the different items, like furniture, old LP 33 1/3 vinyl albums, old radios, milk glass coffee cups, 2 feet tall Batman and a 2 feet tall Superman action figures. The variety of items are just too many to mention here. The only thing they do not have are places to sit down. The building is packed with other vendor booths, so there is not a lot of room for benches. I would definitely had stayed and shopped a lot longer if there were seats strategically placed throughout. I probably won't return, but my wife will definitely be back with a friend. read more

I literally shopped 'til I dropped. This huge red barn outlet off Grand River seems endless. I perused the front room and by the time I was done I ended up flying through the back and side rooms. Prices are great, and competitive; just try to remember what booth you saw that mid century vase in. If you love tschotkes, you'll love this place. I keep passing items and said to my sis, "We used to have those in our kitchen..." I wasn't a big spender today, but for $1.50 I got an awesome black & white postcard of an old sanatorium in Flint, MI stamped 1907. This antique mall isn't too far from Lansing, so the next time I am in town I will be sure to stop by. read more

Got my booth up and running and loving the adventure! The staff has been so cheerful, helpful and always accommodating. I drive an hour to update my booth but it's been very worth it and my 1st month was profitable. I looked for a year to find the right place to open my "Birdie" booth. I liked the overall look of all the other sellers booths with lots of interesting finds. I even find items in their booths I have to have! The building and set up with items are nice . But after a few trips and experiences. This place need to be ran much different . The workers are extremely and I mean extremely RUDE! I just so happened to talk to a few of the people that rent a spot there and the price they charge monthly plus commission from each booth . Ouch ! This place is great! New Product all the time, and reasonable prices for sure. Its a great place to get lost in for an afternoon. They have an odd policy about taking pictures... if you take a picture you will be asked to leave... And something new was a sign on the door no that said no yelpers... which led me to reading the reviews and posting my own. If you are an extreme antique looker, or in search of a specific item, this is the place to go. There are probably about 100 booths with varying types of items from tools to furniture, signage, toys, heck - even clothing - fit for those who love to spend HOURS looking around and admiring antiques of all styles - shabby chic, retro, primitive, etc. Personally, this place is not my favorite, but only because It's just too huge and overwhelming and I find their prices a tad on the high side (take in mind I'm always looking for deals). Still, super fun to look around if you have time to kill. And if they don't have what you're looking for, I'd be very surprised. If you're from out of town, stop in for a look around before/after hitting up the outlet mall. Both are a shopper's paradise! read more

I really like this place. It's a bit of a drive for me but I try to hit it twice a year. We usually wait until they are having a sale. Wear comfortable shoes because you'll be doing a lot of walking. Prices vary from booth to booth. Some vendors are a bit overpriced so that's why I wait for a sale. I have always had good luck finding things here. I mostly look for mid century kitchen items and my husband looks for mid century mod lamps, clocks and office items. We have never left empty handed. The staff is helpful and friendly. read more

Have a sister who lives nearby so we visit this mall several times a year. We keep going back because the inventory is extensive, the prices are reasonable and we always find something we can't live without. ON THE OTHER HAND, each time we visit we have some kind of problem with the front desk. They are UNFRIENDLY and NEVER smile. You get the feeling that ringing you up is a BOTHER and a CHORE. It takes forever because either they're ringing up other employees or milling around IGNORING the people in line. I have been on the verge of leaving items behind several times because I DON'T LIKE GIVING MY MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO AREN'T HAPPY TO GET IT. Would love it if this place would work on CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was there today and it was a great store. I found some really cool pieces for a good deal. Make sure you ask for a discount when you go to the counter. I got 10 percent off everything I bought today. If you're looking for furniture or big pieces then you'll probably won't be happy with this place, but if your looking for anything else you'll find it here. AVOID THIS MALL!!! If only I could leave LESS than one star... by the time I left this place I was SEETHING! Prices are outrageous, there's hardly any help at all, if you can find help they are pretty much expressionless and not very friendly, and the PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! - Oh, PS, there's a sign on the inside of the Ladies Room door that says they will search through your bag or other personal possessions (such as your baby's stroller if you have one) if they want to before you leave. (How I wish they'd have TRIED it!) My husband and I recently bought a vintage game at another antiques mall (Lake Odessa) - it was $20. This mall had the same game: $38. I asked to see a coin proof set - not a very old one - and it was priced at $45! They are all over ebay for around $20. I saw a Weller jardiniere I bought at an estate sale for $60 a while ago - I had recently considered selling it on ebay so looked it up and they are on ebay for around $30 - this mall had the same one for $120! I collect Majolica. A SMALL leaf plate I have bought several of for around $35-50 was priced over $100 here. The best of all? I collect vintage composition dolls, and buy a few a month. One dealer had a fairly common Shirley Temple composition doll that had crazing on her face and was trying to sell her for $875!?! The EXACT doll is on ebay right now for $200 - with zero bids! I asked one of the workers to call a dealer about the price on a doll, and she said they have the percent the dealers will allow off in their computer system so they don't call them. I was so disgusted, as I was paying for a radio and a couple of 78 records my husband wanted, I said to the guy at the counter, "We're selling 12 ounce cans of pop for $85, wanna buy one?" - and proceeded to tell him how upsetting it is to me as a customer to drive 2 hours to this mall only to see the dealers here - with the owners permitting it - pricing things at double, triple, or MORE than the fair market value typical of other antiques malls in Michigan/Indiana or on internet sites that sell such items. Driving here and bothering to walk through this place - in which there is a lot of junk as well as antiques - was a complete waste of time. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

This place was only okay. I went here because I was actually headed to the Brighton/Howell Outlet Mall and saw the sign for this and got really excited. I always enjoy scoring great furniture at locations such as this. This place was kind of a disappointment though. I understand that there are a lot of vendors within this complex and the company rents out spaces but a lot of these spaces just seemed like junk. The overall set up of the space was not the most convenient. It wasn't as user-friendly as it could be to navigate through the many mazes. Also, the bathrooms here were nasty, as well as the whole store wasn't kept up to date. I wouldn't really recommend going here. read more

First few times we stopped by we had good service, but recently the service has been bad. I noticed the sign outside that said no yelpers. What's the big deal with a bit of criticism? Yelp is a way to learn from everything. If you get a negative review, learn from it and try to change your business for the better. If you get a good review, then you're doing something right! Great place. The outside is deceptive as it's actually larger than it appears to be. This place has tons of cool antiques from kitchen items to books to clothing and toys. This place is the antique huntin' bombdiggitydoo! We moved here in 2015 from Kansas City and there were quite a few shops I frequented, and that I really really miss. This place makes me happy and a little less homesick. I've had yet to walk an nice leisurely circuit of the store, which is big and wonderful, but I have always found what I was specifically looking for. There's a great selection here, from paper goods (ephemera) and furniture (we found a great wardrobe but, alas, no passage to Narnia), to gardenware and clothing. The prices can be all over the place -- I find some things to be overpriced and others (happily) underpriced. And they've been lovely about my artist teenager bopping around with her Polaroid shooting photos all over the store! Love this place... I'm seeing many more hunting trips in our future! read more

What a neat place! I have lived in Howell for three years and never noticed this place. It is just behind Tanger Outlets. It is PACKED with antiques! I really enjoyed my first trip here and found many pieces I would love to have. As other people have mentioned, it was quite often that I looked at a price with some sticker shock. Higher prices for sure, but it's all relative and I did find some awesome deals. My only issue was the size- I didn't really have any idea of how huge this place was. Took us about 5 hours to get through the whole building, and I have to honestly say, next time I will most likely split the trip into multiple shopping days or go by myself so I can fly through booths that don't carry mid century kitchen items and Pyrex. Shopping for Pyrex with a doily and Santa/elves collector and a geologist who loves English bone china didn't make for quick shopping! read more

Art, furniture, books, games, your favorite old albums, vintage clothing, mid century, Industrial, Primitive, Shabby Chic, anything and everything for all! Disappointing. I have been going here for years and used to enjoy wandering and browsing, but a recent visit left me cold. Perhaps I am too picky, but there seems to be a growing number of booths the are mostly new-made to look old- items and or repurposed pieces. Repurpose does not bother me as much, but if the mall needs to allow new and artisan items, it should be separated from the vintage (age not style). Since they have three separate rooms it should be doable - but time consuming. read more

I have been visiting this antique mall since it opened and I have to say, overall, it's pretty great. I can usually find at least one thing to buy. There is one booth that I just love that has a lot of salvage items, I usually go right there first. I am sad that you can no longer take photos, but I understand the reason even though I just want to take photos of cool things of yesteryear; that is the owners decision ultimately. It really hasn't stopped me from going back and spending money. I think some items are over-priced, but those honestly aren't the items I'm after. read more
