What happened to cause this? A little background on why I relied so heavily on these guys. I'm disabled, some days I can not walk without help - which means I can't cook anything all day. If GPTO doesn't deliver as they promise, then I don't have anything at all to eat that day, and sometimes the next. What makes this worse: They are aware of this. So for reasons I can't explain and for reasons they never made excuses for - they stopped showing up with my order within a reasonable time frame, or they'd show up 2 hours or even closer to 3 hours after I'd ordered. I'd call them after the first 1.5 hours and ask them if they had forgotten me, and yes they freely admitted they had, but hey don't worry, you won't have to pay the delivery fee. This is not, and I'm sure all of you reading this know, a way to run a successful business. Now I have no way of getting meals delivered without paying the raised prices at 2DineIn, plus the tip and the Delivery Fee, which can bring an Italian Sub close to $28.00. Well being disabled, that is just not in my income range. If you are reading this and you're feeling entrepreneurial, please let me know. If you can deliver on time, don't mark up the menu prices 20%, and are happy with a decent tip each time, you could have yourself a good business here in Portland and surrounding areas. And every time I've had an issue the people answering the phone have been rude and cant bother to add an "hello" or "sorry" if you call with an issue, especially if you happen to order the last delivery of the day. Much better off ordering through 2DineIn or Grubhub (skip ubereats too honestly).

The problem with 'fairly compensating' the drivers without mandatory (or voluntary) tips is that the "driver fee" ends up being the tip that you didn't agree to give the driver, who can basically do whatever they want with your order once they pick it up. They don't care, it's just another gig for them. Blanketed under this notion that "oh look at us, we're progressive and pay our drivers fairly!" but it certainly doesn't change the quality of service. You'll end up paying nearly double for food that is not delivered with care, and sometimes over an hour late.

If something was wrong or not delivered they offered me 5% off my next order. That is not acceptable. Neither was the attitude of their drivers. 2DineIn makes it right with a refund for the item or an offer to pick up what you are missing and bring it right to you with no extra fees. They are a local business that realizes they are serving local people and know they need to treat them right. In my experience with them, they absolutely do. I have never had an unpleasant experience with anyone, administration or driver from 2DineIn. I've been a customer for at least 6 years if not longer. You can track your order from the time you place it until it arrives at your door if you choose to do so. 2DineIn offers a wide variety of restaurants with something for almost any appetite. They are always working to add new eateries and frequently send out coupons for free or half-off delivery fees to introduce or reintroduce restaurants. We are having a very warm winter, but no worries-the lobster arrived in the best packaging you can imagine. The tails are frozen and are in sealed bags, inside of a fully insulated box with a bag of dry ice that was still frozen. I indulge on occasion and take advantage of the tremendous sale they run year round. I have also ordered fresh lobster, shrimp, lobster meat and seasonings.
