My dad did try their scone and raved about it though. They had lots of gluten-free options. The owners and all the staff were extremely friendly and great service. Drink wise they had three offerings during our visit was Coconut Cold Brew, Iced Chai, or Blueberry Lemonade. Both my wife and I had Coconut Cold Brew and it was pretty good, they had some syrups and creamers that could be added to your liking. My parents also raved about the blueberry lemonade. I do wish they could have had some more options for drinks. It was great to have options of drinks and baked goods after goat yoga and like I mentioned the owners/staff were friendly. Would return and try more drinks and definitely baked goods.

They had lots of locally made dairy products including a chive flower butter that went great on those radishes, as well as a mango yogurt that I cannot wait to try! They had the cutest ice cream sandwiches from a local producer, honey, maple syrup in a dozen flavors, and many more great specialty items to make for amazing meals. On top of all that they had a heavenly sandwich menu. Their knack is to take the sandwiches that we all love and make them unique and delicious. For example they make an egg salad with lovage and some special ingredients, their Italians come with a homemade spread with everything from crushed olives to salami, and their turkey sandwich has sour cream and onion potato chips on top which was amazing. If you love bluefish, this is the only place I have ever visited that serves a bluefish sandwich! The owner and staff are delightful and helpful people who are working hard to make this a success.

They have taken a vintage camper and transformed it into the coffee trailer. First stumbled upon their social media which has some great videos showing off the process of transforming it. The inside has been drastically transformed to allow them the space to make drinks while keeping the beautiful vintage aesthetic outside. They have a ton of what you'd expect any coffee shop/trailer to have for drinks and some specials too. They had just opened when we arrived so the only option they were waiting on was the drip coffee to warm up more. My wife got their iced berries and cream matcha special and I got their special iced maple sea salt latte! Both were phenomenal and the two inside the trailer were very friendly and welcoming. A great first experience and look forward to finding them again and trying them again! Hope they have much success as the newest coffee trailer in Maine!

I have it all written out, so we know where we'll be going. Kind of like... when in Rome, do as the Romans do. For me, I need to know ahead of time what that'll be, so we can do them. Such was the case with Wilbur's of Maine Chocolates. Don't remember now where I read about this place, but some blogger mentioned them with high praise, so on my list this place went. We made a point to stop by Wilbur's on our way to Boothbay Harbor (also in Maine for those who don't know), and we are so glad we did. This is primarily a candy shop... but it is so much more. They have other food items, home decor, gift items, and of course, lots of chocolate. We bought a couple of stuffed animals for our grandchildren, as well as some flavored sauces in a jar (to be poured over ice cream), and we couldn't leave without buying some chocolates ! We tried some chocolate-dipped orange rind and a few truffle flavors as well. Everything was very fresh and tasty. If I'm ever fortunate enough to be in Maine again, I'm sure we will stop here again.

They sell Sweet Monkey Business shortbread cookies on occassion - they are the best in Maine for packaged cookies. The owner is very kind as well. This year (2025) my favorite purchase was the Candy Cottage kit! So cute and creative and it smells so much better than gingerbread. I loved it. Great for gift giving as well. Parking is great and there is an car charging spot as well if you are lucky enough to snag the spot. Not a super charger, but it's something. I love how organized she was with everything, and how easy that made it on my end--the cooking/baking instructions were simple and spot on, and the labels were perfect for peeling off to put on the table in front of the served food. The food was delectable all the way around! Such a wonderful variety, and what a treat to have such scrumptious food each day. I especially appreciated that Tara used homemade and local items, and that she took such care with the presentation. One thing I hadn't anticipated was how Tara's presence would enrich the retreat! She brought a lively and positive energy into the room every time she arrived; a breath of fresh air each time. It was so easy to have here there, and such a treat for me to not have to think one bit about what she were up to--I trusted her to do whatever she needed to do to get food on our table, and that was pure joy for me. Biggest hits: orrechiette with pumpkin ragout and portobellos; flatbread trio; gingerbread dessert; roasted pear and brie crostini; bisque with grilled heirloom, mozzarella and basil sandwiches; quiche and frittata; burritos; roasted Brussels sprouts.
