I have gone to visit Lina to help ease my neck, back and shoulder pain, and she has helped ease the stiffness each time. Recently i was experiencing sciatic pain down my right leg, had done every stretch i remembered from Physical Therapy, and nothing was helping, so I made an appointment with Lina. I went in one time for low back pain, I have degenerating discs. I wasn't able to return the following week due to work. when I returned for my second appointment she asked me if I felt any different from the last treatment and I said no, I still have pain. she then said I should go see someone else. I asked her if I should have less pain after only one session and she said no, which is what I thought. I explained that I'm wanting to keep trying and she pretty much told me to go see someone else. Dr Lui was very knowledgeable and was very kind. I have the the carpal tunnel on my right hand and close to the thumb. Sometime, I cannot even hold the pen. Dr. Lui is a true professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly! This is my first time to be treated by acupuncturist. I wasn't sure what to expect. Lina's work significantly helps with a sciatica issue originating in my lower back. The sciatica issue had been very persistent and undiagnosed for 9 months. After diagnoses, healing was very slow with taking precautions and physical therapy only. I tried acupuncture for the first time with Lina. The acupuncture treatment lasted approximately two months with 11 sessions and has greatly accelerated the healing. Let me preface this by saying I am a martial artist and often dealing with injuries as a result of my physical activity. Dr. Liu is a miracle worker. Not only is she professionally and medically exemplary, but she is patient, kind, warm, knowledge, and willing to listen and answer questions. In my 20+ years receiving acupuncture treatment, Lina has been the very best. The previous reviewers are correct: her techniques and approach are different than others. I cannot explain it accurately through this review, but if you have been to other acupuncture clinics before then you will know once you receive your first treatment from her. Lina is great! I had tried everything previously to help with low back pain and tennis elbow. I tried acupuncture and that was the fix! My body feels so much better. But I have also found that acupuncture helps more than just pain. I sleep better, I notice i am super relaxed afterward and my anxiety tends to be much lower after. Usually each session I end up falling asleep for 15-20 minutes where I just get the most restful sleep. Did I mention she takes insurance too! Most places I had been prior didn't take it. But she worked with my insurance carrier and helped get all the info I needed. (I don't know that she takes all carriers though) so if you have hit a wall with body pain or most any ailment and other methods never seem to cut it I recommend giving it a shot! At first it is a little weird they put the pins in you. but I have found they are extremely precise and good at getting it right. Sometimes they do hurt a little bit at first but once they are in for a couple minutes it usually settles. Someone of the pins that hurt the most also feel the best when you are done. So do your mind and body a favor and try it out! read more

I found a wonderful acupuncturist but also a new friend. Lina Liu, LAc takes her time to listen to the issues you want to resolve and she sincerely wants to get to the root cause. Her calm nature also adds to the relaxation experience acupuncture brings me. I have seen her twice so far and each time I left relaxed and then I get a burst of energy! I've been treated by Lina for almost a month now, and I've had better results than what I've had from western medicine. I accidentally found her, I was desperate because I was having very bad migraines.
