After we paid $1,000.00 downpayment for sectional, we were told the sectional would be delivered in 3 weeks, possibly 6 weeks. In reality, the sectional did not arrive for 3 MONTHS. The reason it was late was the customer rep at BGHF did not answer the manufacturer's question about the material for 2 throw pillows. The reason I know this is because I called the manufacturer who told me they emailed BG Home Furnishings within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. I called BGHF several times before I called the manufacturer. No one would call me back. One time I called, the lady said today is Saturday and this is a bad day to call about your order. I replied, is this BGHF? She said yes, I said I gave you a check for $1,000.00 and you cashed it but no one is following up on my order. We finally had to go back down to the store in person, and was told ...OH, so-n-so missed the email. They never said I am sorry. They never said we made a mistake. I had to tell them Smith Brothers was waiting on a question about throw pillows. Horrible Horrible customer service. Never say never but honestly I would rather drive to Nashville than be blatantly lied to, with no apology, AND no furniture for 3 MONTHS. Do not believe their commercials. I had to do their job and fix a problem with the manufacturer in Indiana. They would not even call me back or even look to see why the order was not completed until we went back down to the store in person with customers in the store. HORRIBLE, UNCARING customer service.

This not a place to seek a specific thing at a specific price (especially in a specific size)...but it's definitely a place to explore. There are a lot of unique pieces mixed in with the Tuesday Morning bob. Prices aren't "cheap" - but are definitely discounted over what specific branded bits actually sell for, even wholesale. Anyways: it's a place I check regularly when in BG. Be clear: this is not an "I would like to order XX in YY size, please call me when that's in stock," - kinda place. If you like it and it's the right size, you pay for it and schlep it anywhere else. If you like it and it's not the right size, you ask if they have any others to sell you on the spot, because if they don't, they won't. And that's fairly the end of it. He smarts off and says "well ok then" with a smart tone and a huff. Very childish. I walked around, saw how everything was mostly Chinese junk and left.
