I don't know how the other positive reviews came about, because our experience with HMC Contracting…read morewas pretty bad. We had our enclosed patio redone... It took forever, and once we were in the process I couldn't wait till it was over. It felt like the Three Stooges were sent to do the work. The painting had to be redone several times -- their "team" clearly had no idea what they were doing. We had to have them rebuild the door at least twice, because the quality was truly subpar. Six months later, the door is already showing age (see photo). They were careless with the space (inside the patio, and in the surrounding garden). They never cleaned up after themselves. I had to entirely cut back one of the plants behind the patio because it was so badly broken. I'd find nails and debris around outside that I would have to throw away; they brought plastic, but barely covered our patio furniture (so I did that myself); and they broke one of our side tables. Attention to detail was absent -- I've attached photos of just SOME of the trim corners that do not match up -- there are gaps instead. Chad and his son Adam were nice enough, but we were paying for something that should've looked excellent in the end. It looks OKAY (if you don't really look at the details), and it was no fun getting there. I would absolutely suggest using a different contractor.

It is 2 inches deeper than my parents late 60's model house had, and it's everything I ever wanted in a bath. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded.

American home design not only will give you cheap cabinets, but they are the dealer for Rain Soft…read more The only thing they got going for them, Rainsoft, is they are American made 1958. 6 inch in diameter they come up to your hip. You do lose water pressure when you put these things in. They kill you on maintenance AHD, & they will lie to you and tell you they have a lifetime carbon right to your face. They have activated carbon. It's good for about 2 1/2 years on their in and out non-back wash and carbon. They get $1500 to re-bed the carbon. If you ignore replacing the carving, the chlorine will destroy the softener. You're stuck with their maintenance they love making money on the service department. You can buy a back washing carbon, but it's twice the price of the In-N-Out because it's only gonna double the life of your carbon. If you're on city water, you have to handle the chlorine what I'm finding out. Chlorine voids the warranty on softeners Not to mention their reverse osmosis, they charge $480 for two filters every 12 to 18 months. Because they love having the technician come out and pop them in for you. And they charge you trip charge parts labor gas the filters should only cost you about $60-$80 apiece, but they kill you again in the service department. If you don't mind throwing $100 a month away just in service then this is the machine for you. The only problem is you're gonna lose water pressure. Waste of time and money and you're looking at anywhere from $12,000-$16,000. Good luck
