On a whim and having never heard of this business... we decided to check out their flooring for a remodel we were considering. We'd shopped at a local flooring store ( where we've previously purchased flooring, carpets and granite) and another " big box" flooring store. We were greeted upon entering the store and invited to look around and if we had questions to ask. We did ask about the difference between different types of flooring, and landed on one particular type of flooring and we're given a sample to take home. Ultimately, we purchased that flooring several months later ... after it had been discontinued. There was not enough flooring in the Olympia store for what we needed so they offered to look at the other stores to see if they carried enough of the flooring for us. We had to pay for shipping. It was offset by the sale discount... the floor is 8 mm thick and well-made. It comes with a 25 year warranty.... This floor is beautiful.! Michelle was extremely communicative, helpful and responsive to our needs in our timeline . We absolutely recommend LL flooring! read more

Salesperson at local store said he had never heard of that happening..corporate was absolutely no help and in a nut shell.said to bad and we aren't gonna help..the worst cust service in my 55 years.L&L flooring is terrible. Update: Our project consisted of doing the master and guest bath with radiant flooring which we were told the sub contractor Modern Flooring could do. Well day of installation the crew said they've never installed the radiant materials (which we bought from LL - and HAD to buy to ensure proper installation with the subcontractor). Well we've been going back and forth with Modern Flooring and LL Flooring to get our project finished which is now goinf on 2 weeks and is still undone) to find someone who can install (remind me again why I have to be the one to do this??) the radiant Flooring. I keep getting the run around and he said/she said with literally no results. I spent $26,471 for this project and NO ONE can fins the time to help me, make a follow up phone call, or you know ACTUALLY finish the job? I can't believe I spent this much money on a project that is not finished. I've never had such a bad experience with a contactor and no one is trying to help me get this project done. I've been patient - made the proper phone calls thru proper channels, went into the store, took time off work to get this gone and LL Flooring is not standing by what they said they would do or following up with the subcontractor to get someone in to complete the job. I'm 6 months pregnant and do not need to deal with any more hassle on my end - LL Flooring do the right thing - get a contactor in to finish the job or refund me for the cost of labor (which corporate says is $246? I should have gone to Home depot or Other flooring store. Employees working at Lumber in Olympia is very unprofessional. Don't regret by choosing here. One of the worst service ever. First, they made scratches on my new car by loading the planks and the do nothing. They said I can complain to the boss who is never there. Didn't even say sorry for what happened. Second, they said I can get an installation appointment in 48 hours after I picked up all the planks. I did and I got call from the installation guy after 12 days later. I called many times to Lumber and all they said was they will talk to the installation guy but they never did. I happened to have number and managed myself to get appointment. Lumber even escaped all my calling and messages to the store so my wife had to call the store with different number. Third, I specifically said I will not use the transition piece but still they ordered the wrong part and didnt informed me they sent the piece. That's why installation guy didn't make appointment at the first time and it delayed about a month to begin the installation and I had to return the wrong part. Fourth, on the flooring day, guys didn't showed up. haHa. Apparently Lumber didn't check the day so the installation began late than it was scheduled. Overall, very unprofessional in every ways. I never write an overview but it had to be done. I even rescheduled all my deliveries and services because the installation took more than a month to finish but I was informed it will be over in two weeks. read more

I wanted to replace my outdated vinyl and industrial carpet flooring with quality vinyl planking and, after much online research, determined than Lumber Liquidators was my best source for a quality product at price that was an outstanding value. I chose Coreluxe EVP flooring and the guys at the Olympia location let me know that while their store didn't have it in stock, they would secure the amount I needed at the Tacoma location, which I then purchased and picked up. Returns for unused, excess product were a breeze. The Olympia store gave me option of store credit or a check cut for a refund of my cash purchase. Had good interactions in the past so wanted to use them again. Lumber Liquidators contracted GMA Flooring for installation of our wood flooring of our 3000 sq ft lodge. When Clint arrived for the measurements, he was wearing giant head phones, a beer-logoed T-shirt and tried to sell us carpeting he had in his warehouse. We called Lumber Liquidators to complain- they said they would take care of it... Never heard back from them. Many weeks of lack of communication and misinformation! Never an apology, and seemed nonplussed about losing a very large commercial job. read more

Six weeks of delays, misinformation, and frustration. We decided to do a flooring project through Olympia Lumber Liquidators (LL). The project began on Sunday, 22 DEC 2019 when we paid for the materials. We scheduled the material pick for the next day, 23 DEC 19. We followed the instructions provided during the order, called 30-60 minutes before pick-up, so all the material could be prepared for pick-up. So far, the experience was great, good and friendly customer service, and easy way forward for the project. The next day, my brother and I showed up at the store to pick up our material. We loaded the flooring and the underlayment, but the shoe molds were missing. After some questions, we were told that they did not have the shoe molds in store and would have to order them, which was odd because when I paid for the material, all was set for next-day pick-up. Paul, the assistant manager, assured me that the shoe mold would arrive no later than Friday 27 DEC 19. At this point, we had to wait to schedule the install, because their contractor, Jurgensen Construction, required all material to be in the house before they would schedule an install. Friday 27 DEC 19 came and went, but still no shoe molds. I called the store again on 30 DEC 19, and Paul assured me that "this had never happened before, and he will follow-up with me." Two days passed, and no update. I called back, and Paul again mentioned that "they had shipped it." The night of Thursday, 02 JAN 20, the shoe molds finally arrived, and we scheduled the install for 13 JAN 20. On the morning of Monday, 13 JAN 20, the installer arrived at our place and said that "he was told that we were getting tiles installed" (another misinformation). After more than two hours of back-and-forth with Lumber Liquidators and Jurgenson, we finally resolved the issue, and the install started. About an hour into the install, after our carpet was ripped off, the installer told us that he would have to do three hours of extra prep work to ensure that "our floors were leveled" for install. He also mentioned that "Lumber Liquidators should have told us about it." So, I called the store, but got no response. So, I called the Customer Care #, and they said I would have to pay for the extra prep work. At this point, we did not have any option; our carpet was already ripped off. The installer told us that the prep work would create a lot of dust, and repeatedly mentioned that LL should have told us about it. The extra prep work lasted more than three hours and left our house filled with dust; the entire first floor was covered. The rest of the install went well. The installer did a great job, but to finish the project, we needed T-molds. So, I drove to LL and ordered some on 13 JAN 20. Again Paul assured me that "they will arrive the next day or the following at the latest." The arrival of the final products was delayed, again. After waiting for 2x weeks, I drove to the store and get an update. Paul pretended to be shocked by the delay, and said he can relook if any nearby store had any T-molds. Shockingly, the Tacoma store had one in stock. At this point, I decided to personally drive 35x miles to pick up the T-mold, so, we could finish the project. We were able to get the project finished, six weeks after we paid for the service. Our experience was full of misinformation, false assurances, and extreme frustration. The classic LL excuse of "this has never happened before, or they should have done that," left us extremely frustrated. Two shipping delays, which lasted 12x days, and 15x days were aggravating. The Olympia LL did ZERO follow-ups, and after a few days, they even stopped picking up my phone. I left messages, but no follow-ups. Also, the Customer Care follow-ups were unhelpful and placed the blame on FedEx for all the delays. Overall, frustrating experience with minimal follow-ups from the store and lots of delays. So, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND LUMBER LIQUIDATORS TO ANYONE!!! read more

Our experience with the Olympia Lumber Liquidators has been abysmal. They screwed up on the delivery. The shipment, once it finally arrived, was missing items for the job. The general contractor (GMA) they hired went out of business mid job. Overall, we have been way too involved in dealing with issues that should have been taken care of by LL and our job still is not completed. read more

My wife and I went into the Olympia Lumber Liquidators to pick the flooring for our project at home. We arrived about 5:45 not knowing what time they closed. When we opened the door, a person yelled you have 2 minutes, then again said we are closed in 2 minutes so look around but in 2 minutes we are closed. There were several ways for him to let us know, but that was insulting and we will never spend a dime of our money with them. I try to keep our money local, with small independent businesses.
