I usually don't write reviews but felt other people needed to know. I purchased flooring from LL Flooring ( Lumber Liquidators) on Feb 17th of 2025. It took two weeks for my product to arrive which they told me might happen and was fine with. I picked up the product on Monday March 3rd. My installer was not able to do the job until April 21st. The installer liked the product and it looks great! I called Lumber Liquidators to return 5 unopened boxes (it was recommended by their staff to get extra for the job ). I don't have a problem with the recommendation because it makes sense and is pretty standard in the industry. This is why they only get 2 stars. They would not allow the return because it was over 30 days. The salesperson said that it appears on the receipt. The first issue is why have such a stringent policy on a product that is so dependent on the contractor. Things happen and in my case the contractor had to get to an emergency job first. I looked on the receipt that I have but it doesn't say it. Maybe I am overlooking the fine print but at least they should have stated it to me. So if I knew which I didn't would I have to bring all 40 boxes back to return them in the 30 day window and repurchase. It doesn't make sense. If they carry the floor on a regular basis what harm does it do to take the return and resell. If nothing else then a store credit should be issued for non damaged boxes. No they never tried to help solve the issue just kept saying sorry and the salesperson agreed not a great policy. read more

Love, love, love my Sagrada Oak Duravana floor. Having this easy care floor is also a plus. I had done my kitchen, living room/ dining are and hallway back in the beginning of 2022. I just had my master bedroom and walk-in closet done with the same flooring on September 19th. Floor looks amazing. The contractors came in on time got right to work and by noon were completed. Hats off to my sales reps who were on hand for any issues I may have had. read more

i would like to say this place is great they really helped me after i ordered to many boxes and had to be stuck with all that money and stock i ended up with 7 boxes of 20.00sq ft thats 140 sq ft and needed to return so they were very helpful n i would highly recommend read more

This place is great. Been a contractor for 20 years. The quality of flooring is fine. Just as good as other department stores. No idea why some people view the place as a step below. It is not. Prefinished hardwoods here are great. The laminate flooring is excellent and you cant beat the prices. Customer service at this one is awesome as well. This is always first spot i send customers. read more

We went to LL Flooring(formerly Lumber Liquidators)to purchase hardwood floors for most of our second floor 1000sqf. We went in July picked out a few that we liked, went back on tax free weekend armed with our decision. Our floor chosen was no longer on sale but we ordered it anyway. We purchased the Hickory 3/4 solid wood floor. They stated it would be delayed we were fine with that. They shipped samples to our home so we could plan and purchase items to complement the flooring. First week of September they were delivered, we could not install due to ongoing renovations until November. Well LL were great getting our floors, delivering them and sending out the best installer! I had a new hardwood floor installed through LL Flooring yesterday. My wife and I anticipated the same type of experience that we had with 2 projects that we did through Lumber Liquidators several years ago. Both the product and the installation in those 2 projects was excellent and we were very happy with the result. While the end result of the installation that was done yesterday is mostly satisfactory, there were numerous problems throughout the course of the installation, most of them having to do with the fact that the installers did not understand English. Additionally, we had instructed LL Flooring that we did not want to use t molding but it was sent anyway - just in case we ended up needing it for some reason. We made it plain to LL flooring that we had one existing threshold in place and another threshold of our own fabrication that we were going to install. The first thing the installers did was to tear out the existing wooden threshold that we wanted to remain. Although damaged, it was able to be cut down to a narrower width and still be utilized, although the aesthetics were certainly compromised. The red oak flooring that we used before was Builders Pride. we were advised at LL Flooring that the quality was not as good as it was previously and if we wanted consistency and no knots that we should go with the Bellawood, that was more expensive but would be consistent quality. while installing the wood we saw them put down a piece that was a very dark grayish brown and it didn't look like any of the other pieces of wood in any of the boxes that we utilized. We told the installer that was not acceptable and should not be used. Additionally, there was another one with a large knot that we said was not acceptable. They called their boss who asked to talk to me and he told me that his installers were going to install the wood just as it came out of the box. I told him that if that was the case, that he should tell the installers to pack up their tools and leave because that is not acceptable to me. He then said that they would take an extra step to deal with my request. I told him that that is the only way we could proceed. He agreed to it and the installers continued to do their work and they laid out the pieces of the flooring that were going to be installed and we pointed out 5 boards that had large knots or very strange coloration and the boards were set aside and work proceeded well. I told them how I wanted them to handle the trim at the doorways. Since the flooring was going to be elevated by 3/4 of an inch above the subfloor where the old carpet was installed, I told them to cut the trim around the doorways, so that the plinth blocks could be installed there. When I came back a few minutes later to look at progress, I saw that the plinth block itself had been cut down 3/4 of an inch to fit underneath the door trim. This, of course, looked ridiculous to have a 5 inch baseboard adjacent to a 4 1/4 inch plinth block. I again showed them what they should do and this time they understood. However, they ruined two plinth blocks that I will have to have re-made and painted and installed. I do want to note that the installers were very polite, did a reasonably good installation and cleaned up after themselves very well. I have no doubt the installation could have gone very smoothly if not for the language barrier. It is extremely unfortunate that the installers had to work under conditions where they could not communicate effectively, and it certainly made their job much more difficult. The process was very stressful for my wife and me to have to monitor what they were doing every 15 minutes and try to figure out a way to communicate and have them correct their work when there was a misunderstanding. Additionally, the installers opened every box of wood, although it wasn't necessary as there is well more than a box full of wood left over in my house and they took additional wood away at our request. The unused T molding that LL Flooring sent to the job is here as well. I provide this information to you so that you can provide better future to others in the future since our problems should have been easy to avoid. I am also requesting reimbursement for the extra box of wood that was not necessary, and for the T moldings that were not used. My calculations are $137.88 for product and installation of the T moldings and 1 carton of wood at $103.15. read more

I chose to use Lumber Liquidators, LL Flooring because of my faith in the installer Eric Krowel. He impressed from the first meeting with his intelligence and professionalism. That faith was repaid when he returned after a bout of Covid, his energy obviously drained, but his determination to do the job professionally and elegantly undiminished. His work impressed me, and at 69, I have seen craftsmen in my time. He poured his entire energy into the job, working until drained although still recovering from his illness. No detail was overlooked and the quality is superb. What a wonderful job. I can not say enough about how pleased I am about his improvement of my house. I would be proud to have such a craftsman at my table as a friend or relative. read more

I understand times are difficult with the restrictions in place because of the covid 19 pandemic. My wife and I are exempt from the mask order for medical reasons. With all this time off we decided to replace our living room floor. We went on the website to do our shopping. Found what we wanted and made an appointment to visit the show room and to ensure we could maintain social distance and look at the flooring and ask a few questions. The staff locked the door as they saw us approach. Thur the locked door they told us we were not allowed in without a mask. They didn't tell us this when we made the appointment and as we would be the only ones in the store and they had mask, I feel their reaction was totally out of place. I felt disrespected and singled out because of our medical condition. According to Gov. Baker's mask order, this type of behavior is prohibited. I will never buy anything from them again. read more

The prices for flooring here are good but make sure they are not selling you something you don't need for installation. Ask a lot of questions and do your own research. Their installer Erik was excellent. Love the work he did. Floor looks great. read more

Lumber Liquidators were fantastic to work with this weekend when we undertook a small kitchen floor reno project in my grandmother's home. The staff were kind, courteous, and patient while handling our many questions about wood colors and prices. They had very open hours on Friday so we were able to pick up our product (vinyl wood planks in a light oak) in the afternoon and return the extra box we ended up not actually needing before close. I cannot recommend them enough if you're looking for cheap but high quality flooring in the south coast. read more

Shame on you Lumber Liquidators! You sold my husband and me a hardwood floor with a 50-year warranty; less than six months later it began buckling. You strung us along for over two months saying you would send someone out to inspect it. Then you ignored voice mails and emails for weeks and then you said you would not pursue the matter because the floor was not maintained at 39% humidity. Complete and utter hogwash! Assuming that hogwash has any truth, your salesmen are then obligated to disclose that information to your customers, especially customers who tell them they live on the Taunton River! For the record, nearly every home I have ever visited in New England, and on the water, has hard wood floors. I wish I had asked where they bought their floors. As I told you in the email dated July 27th, I did file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office. I give you my word, we will not stop pursuing this matter until our floor is replaced and Lumber Liquidator's covers all expenses associated with the replacement.
