*Updates* *Lumber Liquidators submitted a charge I did not authorize for $325.10 on 9/4 at 5:20pm (Chase verified the time of charge)! I've emailed them about this fraudulent charge and have yet to receive a response. Shocked to see this crude scamming. Refusing to issue a full refund is typical corporate scummy business practice but submitting a false charge is an unethical act that usually only businesses of lesser sophistication pursue.* Picture of fraudulent charge below! "Lauren R." has responded on behalf of Lumber liquidators with the predictable corporate PR 101 cookie cutter damage mitigation response. They have not reached out to make this right!* Tl;Dr: This company increased the price AFTER I paid the invoice and by 14%! When I canceled the order due to them violating our contractual agreement, they refused to issue me a full refund. I had to hound them and was lied to numerous times and still have not received what I am owed. To add insult to injury, all of the employees I interacted with were apathetic and profoundly rude. On Friday, 08/27/2021, I paid the invoice in full. On Monday, 08/30/2021, the material was delivered. On Thursday, 09/02/2021, at 4:26pm, they called to inform me that they had made a "mistake" and that I would have to pay an additional $162.00 AFTER I paid IN FULL for their services. The salesperson then belittled me telling me there was nothing he could do since I ordered "cheap" flooring as if that should be at all relevant to whether or not you rectify a mistake the company made. He acted like they were doing me a great favor for charging me $1, 311.81 to install laminate on a 150 sq. ft. room. When I told them I wanted to cancel the job (as not only was this unethical but made their price exceed their competitor) they refused to pick up the material without charging an additional fee. I had to lug the material down my stairs and into my car (whilst recovering from Hernia surgery) to return it to the store. The employee didn't even have the decency to put on the typical customer service act and pretend to care or apologize. Once at the register, I had to prod him into revealing that I wouldn't get a full return but a partial minus delivery fees of "$221.00". I asked to confirm how much the refund would be and he told me the amount minus "$230.00" Two days later I received refunds that added up to the price I paid minus $261.73. The delivery fee was $229.00 in actuality as per the paperwork from the invoice. (A ridiculous price as the amount of flooring was able to be transported in my compact car and required only one person to move. Moreover, I wasn't even given the option to pick up the material which I certainly would have had I been allowed and known how easy it was and how much the delivery fee was.) Back to the delivery fee: I called the store to ask where the remaining $31.73 ($261.73-$229.00) of this already inadequate refund was. I was rudely told that I had been refunded the correct amount. I broke down the math for the salesperson and he changed his story, now revealing that the rest of my refund was being withheld because I only returned 6/7 boxes. This is a patent lie. I returned all of the boxes. When I called him on his bluff, he insisted that I stole the box of lumber worth $17.00! After we exchanged words, he escalated the situation and threatened me twice. Finally, after cooler heads prevailed he said he would "do me a favor" and give me $17.00 for the box of lumber he falsely accused me of stealing. I informed him that I was missing $31.73 not $17.00 and he said the rest was tax on the delivery fee. He could have told me part of the missing money was tax at the beginning of this conversation but did not. After I ran the calculations whilst on the phone (something he couldn't even be bothered to do) I agree that that made sense however the tax amount was a dollar too much. He refused to give me this paltry amount that I argued for on pure principle and told me to "take it or leave it" and call "corporate". The corporate hotline wasted 30 mins of my time waiting on the phone and they only gave me back a $1.00 for which I have to go through the tedium of printing, signing, and scanning an agreement instead of just issuing this tiny amount like any normal half decent company. Avoid this company like the plague! Wish I could post the video and audio recordings I have as evidence in addition to the pics below. read more

Floor was beautiful. Contractor installed perfect. After a year floor stated budging and coming up. Contractor came back 5 times to fix. Happened again he said to reach out to LL because he has never seen this before and the floor must have a defect. reached out we filed out the questions send in pictures. Said some one would get back to us in a few days. Never heard from them. Kept reaching out said they will follow up. I ask to escalate it they said they will. Entire experience was enjoyable. Staff at LL were knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Itemized bill was gone over item by item. Found the pricing reasonable. The installation company (Floor Install) was experienced, the 3 man crew was led by Diego. All were hard working and polite. Didn't seem to mind my questions. Floor is beautiful. First, the flooring is beautiful. We waited a few months and, for the most part, it was worth it. The lack of stars comes from the people who they sent to install. They took a box of damaged flooring and placed it right in the middle of the entryway/ dining room. It appears to be water damaged. They then put the leftover 8 boxes of surplus on top of it, concealing it. After they left, we moved the boxes ( not easy, my husband is 74 years old) and saw the bad boards in the middle of the floor. That was last month. We are still waiting for LL to send someone over to fix. Hell, we are still waiting for a call back. With the holidays coming, we are very disappointed. $15K was a lot to save for this. read more

Lumber Liquidators is a national chain, and this review is for this location only. Lumber Liquidators is a warehouse of hardwood flooring. Everything from laminate to unfinished to bamboo and exotic woods. They have a very nice selection, including the full line of Bella Wood. The showroom is a bit small and when it's crowded, it's difficult to see the selection. I found the sales person to be very impatient and actually rude. And because of how he treated us, I don't want to buy from this location. I would rather travel a bit to another Lumber Liquidators and give them my money. The salesman became very impatient and actually started mocking us and snickering when we could not keep straight the 15 different species of wood and which ones darken with time, which ones lighten with time, which ones are too soft for high traffic areas, etc. I'm sorry, but we don't live this every day. This is completely foreign to us. We're laying hardwood through an entire house, this is not a purchase that should be made hastily. And if you can't take 20 minutes to talk us through it, then you just won't get our money. My other issue was we asked for three samples of wood. They did not have one of the species as a sample, and didn't offer to order one. And what they did give us for the other wood was about 4 by 4 inches. How can you take a piece that size and determine how it will look laid out through an entire room? You can't! Another store we went to gave us 24 by 24 inch samples. I will not give this location my business. They're rude. The only reason they get two stars is the selection. read more

DO NOT USE LUMBER LIQUIDATORS FLOORING, WORST COMPANY TO HAVE FOR INSTALLs and the product are horrible they done guarantee the products and give you a hard time in getting the damages taken care of. This is concerning the working I paid for through lumber liquidators flooring company. I paid for flooring & installation for half a house & the service I received has been non but horrible. The first time I had the company come out they were good and kind but the work I got was not what I expected. They used glue to lay the flooring down, they damaged some of the products and used my products to repair the problem not their own. I wanted the flooring to go very close to the wall and told them I will remove the floor trim and they told me they will take care of it but when the work was done, none of what I asked was done & the work is far past the 1/4 inch distance from the wall. There are large gaps & mistake cut all through the house. The second time they came out to fix the problems they where not resolved and they used all of my stuff plus damages to my subfloor was made. So now the floor looks worst, there is glue all over the floor and my bathroom tiles have been ripped up and the floor peeled back so now I have to pay extra for damages down by lumber Liquidators's working. I am very upset and PO'ed about the finished work, the damages to the other flooring in my house and the bugs lift in my house I have to clean out bc they kept the doors open to lay the floor down. I'm not impressed and I don't recommend this company for anything from flooring to installation bc it's all about the cost and not the work. DONT USE THIS COMPANY read more

I completely disagree with the previous review I found the staff extremely patient when I walked in very close to quitting time they did not even make us feel in the least rushed. I found nothing but patient and helpful staff. . I appreciated their expertise especially when I was clueless with what I was doing. I think the staff here is outstanding they helped give honest recommendations based on what I needed. Damage forced me to replace my floors. The Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable the best part there is absolutely no uncomfortable up sell. I was provided store samples to take home and sort of "Live" with and I tortured with various things to help with my decision The Staff provided a very good explanation of where and what woods are best used in different areas of my home. Before going to LL I went to a location near my home where the pressure to buy was unnerving and prices were so steep one could choke, and forget the install price was like a second mortgage. Right now I am arranging for the delivery and I am grateful to the staff for helping me make a proper decision for the floor I needed. I cant wait for my installation. This location had extremely knowledgeable staff. Yes the showroom is somewhat small and can be busy on the weekends, if your as clueless as me and have many questions you may be better off stopping in on a weekday or evening. You can also visit their website in advance to gain some knowledge of products offered and the differences in flooring i.e. Engineered, Hardwood, Laminates. The store does give samples to take home if you ask. Right now they also offer Free 12 Month Financing. We will definitely be going back to this location to make our purchase. read more
