I paid the first trade/call fee thinking that the problem had been resolved by Jim, who was very nice and professional, however, I had to call them back to have him look at the same problem that was continuing to close down lights and electrical In the walls in the same specific areas of the house. My home warranty people, Home Warranty of America, said that I didn't have to pay another trade/call fee again because it was the same problem! Unfortunately the service man at Gaylord Miller had told HWA that their resolve was to replace an old breaker. I happened to have mentioned in conversation something about replacing a spa in this same area of Electric where we continue to have problems on that breaker. We had changed out a spa... Same size spa, same everything, and still having same problems!! They used the spa as an excuse and said it is totally different issue than the first call; so I have to pay again...however, we are STILL HAVING same problems! Between their service man and my home warranty people they turned this on me because they said that it is my problem I have an overload and now I've paid these trade/call fees for them to change out a breaker and still NOT resolving the whole issue originally! From their permitting to final inspection we had no issues along the way and the completed work passed inspection. We looked at three contractors and chose FPEC based on their fair price and good recommendations. I am very happy with how it all turned out. I have utilized FPEC on several occasions. The first time I had a new garage built and they ran the…read moreelectricity from the main "box?" out to the new garage with a sub panel and hit every one of my requests (plug here, plug there, lights here, lights there). Each time the actual owner "Mike" who is a Master Electrician came out to evaluate the issue. I like that he's not sending out any old estimator - he is still hands on! I used them again about a year later to add some more sockets in my garage attic. I didn't know I needed them until I'd worked in there for a while - well since they had planned ahead and put a great sub panel in the garage it was super easy and less expensive to run the new circuit for the new plugs in the walk through attic - Boom, in and out. The third time I used them was due to a circuit popping on my main panel (this work had been done prior to my purchase of the home). When they came out they found that the previous contractor had co-mingled new wire and old wire - there were floating grounds in the home and all kinds of other issues. But with all of this they took care of it. These are all matters of fact - now for a matter belief - I truly believe they care as they took time to talk to me about the problem and didn't try to make me feel dumb because I didn't know what a "floating ground" was. We talked about the problems - they showed me the problems ( I really liked that) and then we discussed the possible solutions. I hate it when someone /anyone says Hey here's your problem, I can't see it but I'm just supposed to trust them - they actually showed me! I hope I don't have to call an electrician again, but if I do I know it will be Florida Power Electrical Contractors.
