Terrible customer service. They fitted me for a suit that was off by a country mile. During the fitting they tell me and the entire wedding party " if something doesn't fit we can overnight it". When I tried my suit on it was way off. The girl told me " I don't know how it's this off. Someone didn't measure right " then tells me it will be 50 dollars extra to overnight my stuff. When I called back to ask what size my shirt was I mentioned my bad experience. It got even worse. The girl was extremely rude on the phone. Puts Pam the owner on the phone who was as equally rude. Finding the right florist was the most difficult part of wedding planning for me. I had a very specific vision for a bright and colorful fall wedding and I wanted to find a place that really understood what I was looking for. Lloyd's understood my vision and executed it beautifully. My flowers and centerpieces looked fantastic and were reasonably priced. They have a whole room of centerpieces and decor and had everything I needed, whereas some places required supplying your own bowls and vases. Lloyd's also lets you see your bouquet the day before, something that not all florists offer. I'm only giving them a four because they corrected an order of flowers that I had sent my brother-in- law in the hospital. I ordered a 100.00 bouquet and when it arrived at the hospital it looked half dead. I was so embarrassed! I called them the next day and told them how disappointed I was and they replaced them. I ordered a $65.00 ($80.00 including delivery) Better - Full of Joy Bouquet for Mother's Day. Upon arrival to my mother, half of the flowers were brown and wilting. Lloyd's at that time agreed to deliver another bouquet, but when she opened the second bouquet, it had half the flowers as the original, and the flowers were not nearly as nice. Lloyd's has been a reputable business in this area for years, but I will be purchasing my flowers from another florist from now on. read more

I've used Lloyds florist before and was never disappointed until today. I ordered some flowers from the website that were supposed to have lavender roses, purple Peruvian lilies, fuchsia mini carnations, lavender traditional daisies. But the flowers that were delivered were white wilting carnations, white-ish pink wilting roses and a couple stems of lavendwe which want even listed in the description. The arrangement was pitiful and dud not look anything like what they had advertised. I called and they offered to replace the arrangement and make it look more like what I had ordered. The second arrangement was admittedly better than the first, but still not what I ordered. It only has lavender roses and lavender daisies. At this point I gave up. It was clear that this was the best I could get, but it's certainly not what I paid for. I will not be giving anymore service to Lloyds florist. read more

Lloyd's did flowers for our wedding. If you're looking for a neutral-to-unfriendly flower factory where you feel like one of 300+ weddings they do a year, this is the place for you. We saved a few hundred dollars by going here instead of Susan's Florist, and I regret it. Most flowers were fine, but they refused to provide a cell phone number as requested by our reception venue, the receptionist was borderline rude, and the mother-of-the-bride corsage they made for us wouldn't stay up straight and lasted only a short while. read more

I have an upcoming wedding and have been told by many people to contact Lloyd's about their flowers. I have tried several times, leaving three messages (one each week) with all contact information. I have also contacted them during business hours and was referred to speak to "Mike" and was told no one else could assist me, because an appointment would have to be made. No one else seemed to be able to give me an appointment time either. I've waited for a return phone call and it has never came - not even a return phone call stating a reason why they wouldn't be able to do flowers. I ordered 3 arrangements for a funeral and spent $339.17 when they were delivered to Borden's pet crematory one of the arrangements flowers were wilted upon delivery, that arrangement cost me $179.99. the people who work there are a witness to the poor condition of it. So my daughter took them back to Lloyd's on Preston hwy, they would only give me a refund of $90.00, and they kept the flowers, so I want to know what did I get for the remainder of $89.99 cost to me. They owe me the balance or more flowers and apologize for sending out wilted flowers for a funeral. My time should have been for grieving and not taking time to write a review to warn people of the disrespect. Do they think that a pet funeral is not worthy of respect! read more

Mike and Lloyd's Florist was terrific in planning our daughter's wedding decorations. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and accommodated her busy schedule, which was particularly challenging since she lives out of town and needed special arrangements to come discuss flower selections with him. Mike was prompt in his replies to my inquiries, and the floral arrangements he created were even more beautiful than we had imagined. He was able to provide a variety of flower that other florists had told us were not a good choice or unavailable, and they were beautiful and perfect! He decorated a trellis for the backdrop on the patio at the Frazier History Museum's windy rooftop patio and it was stunning. He accommodated our delivery requirements so the bridal party could have their flowers early for pictures, and provided vases to put the flowers in to keep them fresh between shots and the ceremony. He also helped me plan the centerpieces for the reception with very creative ideas. I highly recommend Mike and Lloyd's florist. It is worth the drive! A dear friend of mine named Iris passed away recently. I called several florists looking for an Iris arrangement to send. The florists I called either didn't have the flowers or told me they could get them but I would not be happy with the arrangement as it took two days for the flowers to open. Then I made the mistake of calling Lloyd's on Preston Highway. I thought I was in luck. They had them but at a very costly $84.80. Since I was really wanting to send these the cost was of no importance. When I arrived at the funeral home, the arrangement looked like it was picked out of someone's backyard and arranged in a vase. There were 12 Iris's. Two of them were not open and one was broken. I was more than disappointed. Immediately the next morning, I called Lloyd's and spoke to Pam. She was very defensive and said they were not broken and either the delivery service or the funeral home broke them. I asked her what I paid the $10 delivery fee for. I had looked at exotic flowers online and could have ordeded those cheaper. She told me she would give a partial refund. To my amazement, the next week there were Iris's growing in yards all over town. So they were in abundance and they looked much better than the flowers that were sent to my dear friend. I received my statement today and they issued a whooping $10.60 credit. My advice is if you shop at Lloyd's and you are not satisfied, it's just too bad. Mike did an outstanding over the top job! He went above and beyond what was expected. As the mother of the bride my nerves were a mess, I was going thru some health complications,had just lost my Dad and my daughter was stressed studying for her bar exam. We had no idea what we were doing. My daughter wanted country but not too country and I wanted ball room elegance . Mike took us under his Angel wings and helped us with not only flower selections but with table linens,tuxedos and even pointers on how to light the tent and where to rent the tent. He was truly God sent! I had seen some of his work in Louisville Bride and knew he would do good job ... But when I walked up and saw it first hand ...I literally broke down and cried. They were tears of joy and sheer amazement!! He took a tent and a pavilion and turned it into a fairy tale illusion, he had fulfilled both the mother and the daughters vision. It was beautiful beyond words, the Grand arrangements, all the beautiful candles, the pristine linens not one folded wrinkle. We had forgot about the cocktail tables but he took on the labor and expense and decorated them as well. The flower arrangements were the talk of the wedding ! Mike not only does flowers but he and his beautiful wife Pam also offer tuxedo rentals,table linens,and a few other wedding related items. Please give them a call ... I assure you, you wont be disappointed. Also his shop is so easy to get to . From the east end take Gene Snyder west to the Preston Hwy exit, turn right at ramp, shop is almost immediately on the left. read more
