The cost was $15, which was worth not having to create it myself. I was able to select my time for pick up. I gave my name and was handed my flower. Again, easy, and there's so much inside to look at plus flower pots outside for purchase. The reason for 4 stars was due to the service I witnessed two young men receive from the gentleman working at the counter. He insisted flowers had not been ordered from them and the receipt shown for pick up wasn't for their florist. The young men were pleasant and confirmed the order was placed. I didn't care for the tone of the gentleman speaking with them and purposely held back in case I could help. The young men weren't wrong - they had a boutonnière and corsage, and the name on the order - which had been taken by the same gentleman - had been misspelled. Apparently a similar scenario happened to these young men the weekend before for another school's prom. My mama bear energy was activated - please treat young people with more respect and offer an apology (which was never stated).

I'm not usually a huge fan of roses, but the ones in this bouquet are a gorgeous shade of red, large, and open. The truck was set up with separate canisters for different flowers and you could create your own bouquet. The flowers were seasonal and very beautiful. I was able to make my own and pay per each stem. She was kind enough to trim and wrap them for me. It was a lovely and relaxing thing to do on a day where I got some exercise outside and got to see some friends. Fast forward to January, I found on Instagram that Little Lou Flower Truck was going to be selling bouquets online as well as eucalyptus shower bundles. If you've been on Etsy you know that this has become the next level of relaxation for your home. A calming, soothing scent released by shower steam to help you clear your sinuses. I've really been wanting to do this but I had been having a hard time finding a local spot that was doing it until I saw this post. I ordered three bundles and asked for delivery. Audrey was so sweet! I had asked for 2 bundles to be delivered to my work. She texted me before she arrived, wore a mask and delivered them. She also advised me on how to put them up in the shower. The other bundle was supposed to go to my friend who is also within a delivery zone, however she did not end up receiving her bundle. I reached out to her to figure out what happened. Audrey clarified the address for me and was kind enough to go back out and drop off a bundle to my friends house to make sure my friend got her gift. She went above ans beyond. I am so thankful for these beautiful bouquets, the lovely smells from the eucalyptus and Audrey's thoughtfulness. Can't wait for my next Little Lou Flower Truck find.

Audrey was so friendly and well prepared, making sure I had a bit of water for my flowers since I wasn't going straight home. The flowers were beautiful and very fragrant. The virtual class was great and she did a great job as I learned a few things that will certainly help me when arranging flowers going forward. I didn't get to see the actual truck upon my flower pickup but I'm sure I will soon, as there's no doubt that I'll be buying some more flowers this season. Knowing that I would need to branch out past the usual neighborhood spots, I turned to the Jelps to see what was going on throughout the Derby City. Old Louisville Flower Shop popped up in the search and after some quick research I knew it was for me. The selection is top notch. Beyond just offering floral arrangements for the standard reasons, I have found the creativity and artistry in what they offer to be a rarity in Louisville. Not once have I been disappointed in an arrangement or in the beauty of what flowers they chose. OLFS gives you the option to suggest flowers but know that they are pros for a reason. If you leave the choosing up to them, I'd be shocked if you were disappointed. Artistry and creativity doesn't come cheap but for what the arrangements look like and the quality of flower and vase used, I think there's a real value there. I've never looked at an arrangement and thought that I didn't get my money's worth. The only hiccups I have had are in delivery (which is why this isn't a full five star review). I think OLFS is a pretty small operation and as their reputation grows so does their client base and demand. That's resulted in some slightly late deliveries (and if anything is high about their prices, it's their delivery fee). Or deliveries where some items have been left off. The shop has always made it right (refunds and what not) but the 'oops moments' have occurred. They don't happy often but it's been more than once. It's not a situation that would make me change my patronage but in the spirit of being fully transparent to new clients I wanted to point it out. However, the conditions in the greenhouse are very humid, which is not the best for optimal cactus health. Still, they are growing strong. The service was also very polite and friendly, which is much more rare nowadays. When I had trouble finding the price of several items, two employees were very diligent in answering my questions. This will be my new destination for acquiring cacti and succulents!
