I contacted her within the last couple weeks of my pregnancy with a few questions and heard back very quickly. We scheduled a day and time and she was quite flexible in accommodating my crazy schedule. As a first time mom, I was a little nervous about having someone come to my place to do a photo shoot of my daughter at 9 days old. I was even nervous in the hospital when nurses held my baby! However, it was clear that LeTisha was very gentle and experienced in handling babies. When she arrived and got to work, I was instantly put at ease about the situation. It was actually nice to just sit back and relax while she did all the work with my little one. My sweet baby even pooped and peed on LeTisha and she was completely unbothered by it! About a week after the shoot, she called me to set up a time to do a viewing of the images. She put together a beautiful presentation of my images and brought over some samples of products that I could order. I was impressed with my images and the quality of products. It was at this time that I ordered my prints. A few days later, she contacted me to set up a time for her to deliver my prints. The presentation of my order was absolutely beautiful and it was apparent that LeTisha had carefully thought out every detail. Thanks to the modern cell phone, photography has largely become a lost art. Sure, post-processing…read moretechniques are now just as common as the veritable emoji, but the composition itself is so often just an afterthought. For that reason, I'm rarely impressed with the vast majority of professional photographers. To me, photography is all about capturing *emotion*. Londen's portfolio speaks for itself -- vulnerable, creative, and artistic. The talent required to make sports photography evoke emotion is on another level. Seriously. I only found a handful of online reviews, but his portfolio impressed me so much that I took a chance and reached out anyway. Londen was everything I was hoping for, and then some. On the business side: he's professional, punctual, responsive, and flexible. He even agreed to do a super early start to beat this Texas summer heat for our outdoor shoot. On the personal side: he has one of those personalities that can immediately put a 5 year old, 80 year old grandma, and corporate executive all at ease. He has a gentleness and openness about him that really makes you feel like you're hanging out with your cousin or something. (side note: all the best photographers I've worked with are like this.
