Horrible service experience just now. Went here for a cashiers check. I went to another chase…read morelocation last year and I was able to get a cashiers check even though I'm not a Chase customer. She gave me a very snotty and rude attitude and said I have to be a Chase customer. I said well I have cash. Nope she said. Thank you to the short, brunette lady with glasses at this location for assuring we will never ever be Chase customers in the future. It wasn't necessarily the policy that bothers me (never heard of a bank that won't issue a cashiers check for cash), it was her rude and very condescending attitude. We are actually in the market for a new bank and will never do any business with Chase for personal or business banking. Terrible.

When my mom was alive, my brother had Power of Attorney on her account but would not help. I suspected, and was proven right, that an ex-aide was stealing from her. I got my own Power of Attorney paperwork notarized and went to Chase to be added so I could protect her finances. They refused to accept it and would not clearly tell me what they needed instead. I was left guessing while my mom's money was disappearing. I went to the branch seven times just to get the fraudulent charges reversed. They eventually set up a separate account so I could pay her bills, but when my mom died, the original Power of Attorney situation caused even more problems. It took seven more branch visits to try to settle her estate. At every step, I felt like I was supposed to magically understand Chase's procedures without any clear guidance or compassion. I was trying to protect my mom and do the right thing, but instead of help I ran into endless roadblocks and cold, confusing policies. It is stressful enough to care for someone you love and then manage grief. A bank should make that easier, not harder. Chase failed when it mattered most.

No hello, no smiles, no "can I help you", just blank stares.....to the customers???? Went in on a Friday 3:40PM with one teller and 2 males standing around talking to each other with the standard ignoring of the customer. It is not like they were busy nor close to the 6PM closing. The teller, in this instance, very friendly but new and could not help with the item I required and asked me to take a seat as was the person who was in front of me. A few minutes later one of the males came out and the first guy was attended to but the other male was no where in sight and was aware of A) I was sitting and awaiting help B) apparently could not be bothered with, wait for it........THE CUSTOMER. If they did not have great money market and CD rates I would move onto one of the other dozen financials institutions within 3 miles of me!

I was the sole beneficiary executor and fiduciary but they said since he was primary on our joint account it had to be closed and I had to open a new account instead of just removing his name. In the confusion of switching accounts they charged me over $700 in convenience fees and refused to back down. The removed approx. 200 but I had to cover the rest of this money making fee charging! When it push came to shove they transferred the remaining 528 in fees from MY single account from the account they claimed I couldn't keep because he was primary. STAY AWAY! NOT A PEOPLE FIRST BANK! I will be switching banks as soon as I get the rest of the estate settled!
