We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Their staff is polite, thorough, and thoughtful. I got to interact with their awesome intake/dispatch personnel as they collected key information relevant to the trip details. At the time of writing this review, we are experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic. I was happy to hear they were asking question to attempt to limit exposure. It let me know they care to protect their clients and staff. Drivers were very patient, careful, friendly, and respectful. They took care to ensure my grandmother was as comfortable as possible when they transferred her to the stretcher. They also drive very safely, attempting to minimize the impact of sudden stops, bumps, and potholes on the road as much as possible. I would definitely use their service again when the need arises, and I recommend their services to anyone who needs it. They serve a unique population which has limited transportation options in the DFW area. They provide a variety of options depending on the mobility impairment of the person. I know they provide transportation via wheelchair, stretcher and ambulatory people as well. Their drivers are well trained and specialize in what they do best: getting your loved one to their destination safely. The pick up driver was much more knowledgeable but filthy van and she couldn't get the ramp down to get me out of van. I was stuck in the van for close to an hour until a man came and got the ramp down. The driver was very apologetic but the owner/manager never apologized for me being locked in van. I should get a refund from this disastrous situation. They had 5 star rating on google. Obviously that was rigged. Do not use Medtransit. It's disastrous!
