Friday the 13th, 2025 -- just under four days ago -- marked the first time in my life that I was…read moreinvolved in a major automobile accident. Until then, I had only ever experienced minor bumps or low-speed fender benders. It's difficult to truly grasp how traumatic and devastating an event like this can be until it happens to you. Thankfully, everyone in the other vehicle -- the at-fault party -- walked away unharmed, without a scratch, and in seemingly good spirits (or as much as one can be in after a major car accident). Unfortunately, my experience was drastically different. My car was completely totaled. I was transported by ambulance and hospitalized for over five hours due to the severity of the crash. The impact was so intense that my wallet couldn't be found, despite my repeated pleas to the fire department, police, and bystanders to help locate it. Because I was instructed not to move, I was rushed to the hospital without it. I spent the entire weekend without my car (which I had only recently acquired and took great pride in), without my wallet, ID, or credit/debit cards -- and, most distressingly, unable to move or walk properly due to excruciating pain and significant mobility issues. I wanted to provide this context to explain how my weekend unfolded. I missed a great deal of work I desperately needed to catch up on, had to cancel plans that had been arranged weeks in advance with friends and family visiting from out of town, and most importantly, I endured severe pain and suffering -- both physical and emotional. The fact of the matter is, I have a difficult road to recovery ahead of me. The one silver lining in all of this has been the incredible service and support provided by the team handling my case at Sweet James. I am genuinely grateful that I chose this firm to represent me. From the very beginning, I knew I hadn't just made the right decision -- I made the best one. Owner Hi Brian, I think you will need to consult a NH attorney for this. Mike I am in NH. The property in question is in CA. The whole point of why I was seeking a CA attorney was that I needed someone well versed in CA real estate law, especially Prop 13 law. So for him to say I needed a NH attorney (who would know nothing about CA RE law and Prop 13 law) was exactly the opposite of what I needed, and showed he was not exactly on top of things, either then or later in his response to the review. As for "I do not handle that type of law" in the review response, their web site lists "REAL ESTATE" as one of the areas of expertise for Attorney Michael K. Wolder. So I think there's more "confusion" here, too, either in the initial query response or the review response.
