As expected, this place had one of the best affogatos I've had. I happened to stop by around 4…read morep.m., and it was definitely busy. From what I've seen, it tends to be more crowded in the afternoon than in the morning, and that matched my experience.
The line looked long at first, but there are actually two lines you can join, so it moves more efficiently than it seems. From getting in line to receiving my affogato, the whole process took about 20 minutes.
Most people grab their affogato and sit along the street to enjoy it before bringing their dishes back. It's a fun, casual atmosphere and well worth the wait if you're in the area.
