This is probably my fourth time here and every time here it's been a less than stellar experience. Stay away if you are not a regular here. I say that because you are expected to know where to recycle your copper, what to put in this bin, where to put old batteries, etc. If you have to ask the guy behind the counter you're likely to get a sarcastic answer or get chided for putting something in the wrong bin. They don't have the time for lay people. One time I stood waiting by the scales expecting to be prompted where to put my wire. The guy just glanced at me every now and then, I guess waiting for me to say something. Finally he asked, "are you going to put that on the scale or what?" If you are a contractor however, you'll be greeted by first name in a pat on the back. If you're ok with surly attendants with shitty attitudes, and don't mind being humiliated, then by all means go.
