I used the service for the setup of a new Leesa mattress and removal of the old one. I was able to make an appointment the night before for the next day, and LoadUp confirmed right away and then gave me a more precise time slot hours before with the phone number of the guy managing the crew that was coming. He gave me a half-hour slot and came within that time frame, something unheard of with service people as we know. He knew exactly what to do, and he and crew unpacked the new mattress, set it up, and removed the very heavy old one very quickly and neatly. New mattress company told us that they would remove our old mattress but not the adjustable base, so we were confronted with the problem of how to make room for a new mattress with different base. 1 Star (Wish I could give ZERO) -- LoadUp Junk Removal is a Total Scam If I could give this company negative stars, I would. LoadUp Junk Removal is hands-down the most unprofessional, dishonest, and downright frustrating service I have ever dealt with. Here's the deal: I recently bought a house where the previous owner left behind a ton of junk. As part of our negotiations, the seller agreed to hire a junk removal company to clear everything out. She chose LoadUp (unfortunately for me) and gave them full approval to remove everything that was left behind. When the team showed up, I walked them through the house and garage, showing them exactly what needed to go. They took pictures, nodded, and said they just needed to get approval from their boss. A few hours later, they came back and said they were good to take everything I had shown them. Great, right? Nope. Once they actually started the job, they started cherry-picking what they felt like taking. When we got to the garage, they took a few items and then suddenly said, "Oh, I didn't know there was stuff behind that shelf -- we can't take that." Then came the kicker -- when it was time to grab the junk in the rafters (which I had specifically asked about and confirmed was included), they backtracked again: "Oh no, we can't go up there." Seriously? You had photos. You had a full walkthrough. You gave me a confirmation that everything was approved. And then you show up and do half the job while throwing out every excuse in the book? The worst part? I didn't even pay for this service -- the seller did -- and I still feel like I got ripped off. That's how bad this experience was. This company is shady, unreliable, and clearly has no internal communication or accountability. They bait you with empty promises, then deliver the bare minimum and leave you with a mess. If you're considering LoadUp for junk removal, do yourself a favor and run the other direction. Absolutely pathetic. read more

I would not recommend this company. They were 2.5 hours late after their scheduled appointment. I called the support number and there was not even a way to talk to an agent for the person waiting. The company seems to give the jobs to independent contractors. The person who picked up was not the person listed. The person who picked me up was nice. I am not just fan of giving up almost my entire day as they can't give a correct ETA off by hours. read more

We agreed for their team to help unload two shipping containers. They then went slow on the first container and used up all the hours I paid for. They did not keep their end of the deal. Be careful if you use them to move your house. They might move half of your belongings then tell you that you need to pay again if you want the other half moved as well. They estimated the job and told me they could handle it the changed their mind. Customer service has been no help, every 3 hours I get a text from a new person asking how their service was. After I explain what happened I get no response. read more

They were convenient and accommodating for my last minute king-sized mattress disposal service request. Wish the communication with the driver was a bit easier but otherwise I love how quick I was able to reserve something. Fernando and Luis were very helpful. Both gentlemen who came to pick up the mattress were very kind. This is a pretty decent price as well compared to the others I looked into. Maybe they do a good job, maybe they don't.I don't know, but I do know this: Even with 48 hours notice, they will not let you cancel your order. They offered to give me 80% back -- meaning they get to keep 20% without my receiving any goods or services for my money. I am an older woman on a fixed income and when one of my neighbors said that they would take the item I was getting rid of, it was a big deal for me to be able to save some money. This company is like a lot of companies in America -- they care only about profits and not people. DON'T USE THEM, If you try to cancel, even with more than ample notice, they will punish you for it. Arrival was very late due to a prior customer and heavy freeway traffic, but the loaders were very cordial and fast. Due to the late hour, it was not likely they would be able to transfer the furniture to the local charities I suggested, but they stated that they would return to base and the furniture would be donated to the same charities at their locale.
