Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had with any company with whom I've ever done business. I had an almost new Pottery Barn loveseat that I wanted to donate to an organization. That organization could have picked it up, but their pick-up fee was high, so looking on the internet for other options, I came across LoadUp Junk Removal. Don't be put off by the term "junk" in the name. They will pick up almost anything. The fee is determined by a number of factors, including location (e.g., stairs or first floor, etc.), and size of what they're picking up (e.g., a 2-man team was required to move the loveseat). Their charge was close to 20% LESS than what the organization to which I was donating would have charged me. Amazingly, there were some negative reviews for LoadUp on Reddit, but I ignored those, and I'm glad I did. I couldn't have had better experience. The company did exactly what they said they'd do, including staying in contact with me by phone and text and picking up promptly within my chosen time-frame, which in my case was next-day, first week of December, a busy time of year. The two men who removed the loveseat were careful and polite and totally professional. I highly recommend LoadUp, aka Junk Disposers LLC. read more

Although the loaders were efficient, they were not provided with vehicles that could handle my normal- sized sofa and loveseat (two "extended' SUVs for lack of a better term). My complaint is with the company. I made a reservation over the phone and was assured of an 8AM-noon pickup. My email confirmation cited 3-4PM...I had to cancel a needed doctor's appt and a business appt. I tried to track the loaders...but even at 3:30, the online tracking didn't show the loaders en route. No one answered the phone at Upload. And some online tracking resulted in a blank page. I sincerely hope the loaders find work at another company. The claims, the photo of the truck? Couldn't reach driver/loader through link provided. Therefore had no idea when anticipated arrival time. No response to texts. For amount I paid for service I expected a professional truck to load items. Instead, a pretty used pickup truck with literally zero room to carry items safely. On website it indicated the items would go to a charity or responsibly recycled. Loader/driver told me he was taking to the dump! The entire reason I chose this company was to reduce carbon footprint. Not at all who they claim to be or service provided. Very disappointed. read more

I had ordered new furniture and needed someone to pick up and dispose of the old stuff. I told them specifically I needed it picked up the day before my new furniture was delivered. Long story short they did not pick it up as scheduled. So my old furniture was still in place when the new stuff was delivered. Then they came and picked up the old furniture. So now we have to move all the new furniture into place. It was cluster you know what. Not worth the $400 for sure I do not recommend them. read more

I found them online when my daughter needed to have her furniture removed that she didn't plan on taking with her. I just clicked on what I had and it gave me a quote of how much bit would be to have someone come and take it. The person showed up in the 4 hour time window that we chose. I got a new mattress and don't have a truck or anywhere to take the mattress, so I paid them $80 at 7pm and they were at my apartment at 7:45 the next morning to grab it quickly and left. We had a large 3-door armoire that we wanted to donate. Load Up made making the arrangements easy online, so we scheduled a next day pick-up with a 4-hour window. Load Up confirmed our appointment the morning of pick-up and provided the name of our loader. Jose, our lead loader, called about a half an hour before our delivery window began and let me know he was on the way. Jose and Carlos took great care in the removal and loading of my old armoire. Jose's explanation of what happens next was very helpful. He and Carlos' professionalism throughout the pick-up process was greatly appreciated. My experience with loadup was great. My driver Tara was there on time at my storage facility. They removed everything and also help shift the stuff in my unit back nicely. Overall just a bad experience. Late, One Guy, Small PickUp, Not Accommodating. The company makes booking a breeze, but that is about it. I decided to use LoadUp to haul off a bedroom set and to donate it to a local charity. I paid a premium for this service for the donation aspect and to save me time. I had to go through and select the items I was picking up. I did this, but didn't think too much about it. Turns out that was a mistake. They are VERY strict on what is filled out and will only take what you filled out. My delivery schedule was between 8am and Noon. I reached out several times to get a more accurate ETA, but never heard back. The driver did not communicate until he showed up. He was actually very nice, so I feel bad leaving such a poor review. The lack of communication on ETA is extremely frustrating because I do not work from home and had to make special accommodations to be home all morning. The driver ended up arriving around 12:30 and finishing around 1:15pm. The reason the driver was so strict on what items he would take is because he arrived in a pick up truck. Not a box truck. A tiny pick up truck. I can't believe he was even able to fit everything that I did select (mattress, box spring, 2 bedside tables, pillows, and a dressers. He would not take the bedframe or a small 4lb wire chair. If I had known that the service was extremely strict on what items they picked up, I would have paid more attention when booking. I just assumed that since I paying so much to begin with, and it was donation, that taking an extra chair and the bedframe would be no big deal. Now I am stuck with these two items, which brings me to may complaint. I am willing to pay to save myself time. The opposite happened here. I paid a premium and didn't save any time at all. In fact, I lost time. I lost my entire morning and some of the afternoon waiting on and dealing with LoadUp. And I'm still stuck with two items I don't want or have room for and will now have to drive to the dump myself. If I had known I would be left with items from the bedroom, I would have never used this service. I own a pickup truck and could have done what LoadUp did in two hours myself. The reason I didn't, is because I knew the items would not fit in one pickup truck load and I thought I was paying for a larger box truck to come and clear out the bedroom. That wasn't the case. You would think that since you are paying a modern moving/junk company, that it would be a breeze. You book it, they show up, and your stuff is gone. It takes no time out of your day. Nope. Wrong. I really can't believe that LoadUp sent a pickup truck for this order. Queen Mattress, Queen Box Spring, Queen Mattress Topper, Dresser, Two bedside tables, and large pillows is what I had down on the order. Does that sound like it would fit in a pickup truck? And one guy moving it all? They didn't even send two people. What the heck. The service claims they have a live "tracker" to see when your driver would arrive. It has four steps: Accepted, En Route, Arrived, and Complete. It didn't work. I was constantly refreshing this all day and reaching out to Customer Service trying to get an ETA on the driver. The steps never moved once. The driver just arrived at 12:30, unannounced and outside of the window and the tracker still showed that the first step of "accepted" wasn't even complete. This also lead me to believe that LoadUp wasn't coming at all. Again, I feel bad for the driver. Nice guy. Hard worker. And stuck with a small pick up truck and by himself. I think he would have taken my "extra" items if he had room. He didn't even have room for the items he did take. I still don't know how he moved the dresser by himself and fit it all. Last thing: I seriously doubt my stuff ended up at the charity. I bet he went straight to the dump with everything. Giving 2 stars because he did take all the stuff I had down on the order form. Today I had the distinct pleasure of working with LoadUp today for a simple couch removal. I was assigned a worker for my removal at 8:10 Am. 7.5 hours later I noticed that the tracker is not working. I reached out to customer service only to be informed by Max & Aaron that whomever was supposed to complete my service is out sick and that there isn't anyone in my area to do this service. I begrudgingly completed the service myself and since their service was no longer required due to their lack of availability, I asked for a refund. I was informed by Max that I would only receive half of total funds rendered for the service due to them cancelling the reservation since they were no longer required. $80 was paid for a service that wasn't even assigned or completed. Please look elsewhere for any of your item removal needs. This was a complete waste of time and money. Customer Service is also a text only service & did respond to my inquiries very quickly until I asked about a refund. read more

We purchased a mattress, and UpFront confirmed they would pick up the old mattress on three different dates. Each day I had to reach out to ensure they were still coming. The next day they sent an apology stating they could not find a partner to pick up the mattress. Due to rain and HOA requirements, we had to move the bed back into the garage nightly. We were told for the 3rd time they would be here today (11/13) to p/u mattress. I texted at 2p inquiring if they would be here today, and the response was we couldn't find anyone to make this p/u. I provided the name and number of another company's pick-up contact. They contacted this company, and my mattress was picked up. They need to be upfront about arranging p/u and need more connections to provide this service. This is the company Helix Mattress uses for FREE pick-up. read more

I wish there was a O rating. they didn't show up on time first day and then just left without any notification to me other than a text asking ME to reschedule. They didn't show up at all with no notification the second time I rescheduled. 6 calls to customer service later and an hour on hold while they waited to find someone to show up. After escalating they finally found a team who actually showed up 5 hours after scheduled time. Offered me a 10 percent discount on cost (what a joke) they completely FAILED to do what their customer service team said they would and fell back on "we don't guarantee anything" as their excuse. Would NEVER use this company again for anything! So many other reputable removal companies out there that actually do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it!! read more
