This company does not even deserve one star. I hired Load Up to remove a three-seater couch and loveseat on 2/5/2023. They had pictures for the job. I had hoped to donate the items. I purchased the set in mid-2022 after I moved into my current home. On 2/5/2023, I did not receive any communication from the hauler until I sent a message asking what time they would be here. They told me they were running behind. They were much later than expected. When the hauler arrived, I saw one individual. I asked him if anyone else would arrive to help him, and he told me that when he does jobs for Load Up, he does not have anyone help home because everyone has to get paid. While the hauler was assessing how to move the furniture outside from my living room, he asked me if there had been any modifications to my entryway. I shared with him that the furniture was delivered to my home in mid-2022 and came through entryway with no issues. I told him that if he was not able to remove the furniture from my home, to leave it, and I would make alternate arrangements. Load Up's website indicates they send capable haulers. If they sent this individual to my home, I had to assume he was capable. He pushed the loveseat through the entryway causing damage and tried to do the same the sofa. When that was not successful, he brought a sledgehammer and knife into my home and destroyed the sofa. The force of him beating the sofa with a sledgehammer as it slid across the floor inside my home, trying to push the loveseat and sofa through my entryway caused substantial damage to my entryway, the landing inside my home and the light fixture. I contacted Load Up on February 5 and sent them pictures of the damage. I had my damage assessed, and I sent Load Up my claim. I had numerous communications to no avail. I then filed my complaint with BBB on 3/25, and Load Up has not responded. It's been almost 2 months since the damages were caused to my home and my claim was filed with them. Based on BBB reviews and claims, others have had similar experiences. Perhaps it's time for a class action against Load Up. read more

This company scammed me out of hundreds of dollars. I called days in advanced and said they charge upfront which I wasn't comfortable with but the representative assured me the company is legit and they have people for the timeframe I needed. When the day came no one arrived and I had to call them to see where they where. They said they have not found anyone for the job and they needed until 8pm that day. I'm like it wouldn't make sense for people to come at 8 as it would take hours to assemble kitchen furniture bunk beds dressers ect. They didn't have anyone for me so I had to find and pay someone else. I asked for a full refund and they refused it. 1. I waiting for four hours for them to call and come and they never did. 2. I had to call them to find out they don't have anyone for the job when they confirmed with me they did and said they have someone between 8am-12. 3. They said I had to now wait to 8pm for them to find someone! I said that wouldn't work or make sense because this job is to assemble complicated furniture and my kids go to bed at 830. 4 I had to find and pay another company for the day. How is taking any money for me justified? They didn't pay anyone as they didn't find anyone when I was informed they had people for the e morning and assured me in advanced. FANTASTIC service. The two gentlemen that helped me were extremely professional, helpful, accommodating, and took care of what I thought was a pretty large request. For details, I needed to get rid of / donate a few chairs, a TV stand, a dresser, a large chair, and a large bookshelf. The task was too daunting to do on my own and I couldn't find any reputable sources close to me that could help me with decent pricing. It was very easy to get a pricing estimate on their website and schedule a pickup date. They let you contact them via both text and phone calls. I was able to confirm with the driver about the arrival time through text message, and that worked out really well. Not only was LoadUp affordable / fairly priced, but they were communicative, had incredible service, were super kind, and honestly made my day (and life) a lot less stressful. Haha. I was given a window of 4-8 pm for my sofa to be picked up. No one ever came. I tried calling them multiple times, but only got through a couple of times to speak with a representative who couldn't give me any information about what happened. I told them that I needed the couch to be out that night because there was a new one being delivered the next day. They said they would "try" to have someone come the next morning, but I told them I was working the next morning and no one would be there in the morning. There was no resolution that day. I'm had to have my son drive for 2 hours to be at my home in case they showed up the next day. Someone came the next day. They sent me a 10% refund, which is an insulting amount, given their utter failure to provide their service that I prepaid for. On their order form, they say that if there is any delay with service, I would be notified 24 hours earlier, and this never happened. read more

Amazing! I'd not heard of LoadUp, but it came up in an Internet search result. We had the following items in our garage that we wanted to get rid of: couch, dresser, office chair, coffee table, and a king size mattress. I easily scheduled on-line; the pick up date was only 2 days later (miraculously fast). The window provided was 8am-8pm, but I was not concerned because I work from home. I received notice of the driver's name and was provided a link so that I was aware of the timing. Urael arrived by 10am and was on his way 30 minutes later. He was incredibly professional and loaded all of the items himself (considering the size and weight of the couch and mattress, it was really impressive). If we ever need this time of service again, I will not hesitate to use LoadUp. I doubt that any others would come close to the service level and cost. Well done, LoadUp! read more

When I made my initial order I gave the gal my list of dresser, lamps,side tables, clothes, Kitchen and misc. She gave me a price for a trailer. That morning I tried several times to call for the size of the trailer. I sent pictures of my items. Everything is automated. I texted several times with no size. the loader called me around 2 and told me he had my order for 3 items and was bringing his standard truck not a trailer. I had a horrible time trying to talk to anyone. They only want to do TEXT. My appt was between 12-4 They wanted me to wait from 6-7 for a trailer. I was cleaning out a deceased relatives studio apt. and was done at 4 I needed to leave I live 7 hours away. What a nightmare. Would never recommend this company, NO LIVE PEOPLE to answer the phone. Billy and his assistant were extremely professional, very kind, and understanding. They set up my mattress for me even though I didn't have the adjustable bed frame base. They informed me when it arrived. Just give him a text message, and he'll come over and put it up for me free of charge. That kind of professional service is something you rarely, if at all, find in today's time. The communication from this company is great. I was assigned a loader (husband and wife team I think). I received email and text to confirm my request and to keep me updated on the process. They arrived within the requested window and were very nice. I wasn't sure how to dispose of a large broken hot tub, but they were able to cut it up and haul it all away and cleaned up, too. A local hot tub company was going to waitlist me for weeks, but Loadup was able to get me on their schedule within days and saved me some money compared to the hot tub company's quote. read more

LoadUp is so easy to use! Schedule a pick up online, tell them what you need to have picked up, pay online, and it gets done. You get plenty of transparency and updates from your assigned crew and from the main office both before your pickup and after to be sure everything has gone as expected. I had to add a large item to my order and it was no problem! When the crew and truck arrived they could not have been nicer! Great service - they collected information up front so they knew exactly what needed to be removed (I had old furniture), allowing them to give me a precise quote. Their price was lower than several other companies I looked into and it was firm: it didn't change on the day of the removal. The gentleman who arrived, Agimbola, was wonderful. It was very easy to book and i didn't even have to speak to anyone on the phone! I sent the things i needed picked up and they instantly sent a quote. you do have to prepay, which can be nerve wracking. but, I actually appreciate it because it's a guaranteed quote. They can't try to charge you a lot extra later on. They picked up about fifteen items for us and did it in less than an hour! The items were big and heavy too. We had Maryam and she did wonderful! I actually hired LoadUp twice to help downsize my large storage locker contents and remove donations and junk. Very nice both times. Completed the jobs they were hired to do without drama...really important!! I would hire them again and recommend them to others. We needed a rug and some furniture moved within our home. Jose and his crew arrived on time and were very efficient and careful. They placed all the items where we asked and even offered to remove the glides which saved us some lifting. They also moved two small chairs for us which we had not originally asked for.
