I have been to Walgreens all over the US and this is, by far, the worst. The employees are great,…read moreso that is the only redeeming thing about it. First of all, the parking lot is always filthy...trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing. But the worst is just the crazy long amount if time it takes to do simple things. Gotta get a prescription filled, be prepared to spend an hour standing in line to drop it off or pick it up. Whether you go inside or the drive thru makes no difference, both take forever. Got an appointment to get a vax? Doesn't matter...you're still gonna be standing in line over an hour PAST your appointment time. Wanna place an order for pick up, which anywhere else is usually ready in 30 mins or so? Don't expect that to happen. I've now been waiting hours for a three item pick up. Not sure if the store needs more employees or if the area just maybe needs another drug store...but this is insane. I'm changing my prescription pick up to Safeway across the street and praying that something happens with this Walgreens location to make it more user friendly.

It's a shopette near gate 3 of fort carson. It has your typical fares, soft drinks, candy bars,…read moresnacks and liquor. There is a small subway inside as well. You can also get gas there too. It is almost a one stop shop. The only reason I don't rate this place higher is that it appears to have minimal staff. So any time you go there, there is always a line, not like a couple of people, but five deep. So you can't just get in and out quickly. Besides that, I go there when I am leaving the north side of post if I need a snack.
